An adorable short book, perfect to cure a bad day!
The book of purrs is filled with comedic and/or comfortable strips of cats making it a great read regardless of age for any and all cat lovers :)
Super fun palette cleanser in between heavy reads!
This was super cute!
Thanks so much to NetGalley for the e-ARC. I really enjoyed this. I love what I can find in the Read Now section from time to time! So many cute gems like this one.
I tend to lean more sarcastic than genuine, so at times this felt too positive or motivational for me, but objectively it's very good lol. Perfect coffee table book, or to gift to a friend! Some of these panels would make really great prints or greeting cards!
I look forward to seeing more from this artist in the future!
I’m so thankful for the opportunity to get access to this book. I used to follow @purr.in.ink when I had a “bookstagram” account and I loved to see his daily artwork on my IG home page. This book includes a wonderful selection of Luis Coelho’s cat illustrations and lovely messages.
I invite you to take a closer look to each illustration so you’ll see those fine parallel lines which give form to those fluffy and cute cats 😍. This technique is called “hatching”. Coelho said in an interview that “drawings in A4 sheets take him between 10 and 60 hours to complete” (from https://www.demilked.com/ink-drawings-of-cats-luis-coelho/ )
I really like every single illustration and messages of this book 🥰 and I totally recommend it to anyone, especially cat lovers. I also recommend you to visit the artist’s website to see more of his artwork: https://www.purrin.ink

Thank you, Andrews McMeel Publishing, Paulo Coelho, and NetGalley for this digital copy in exchange for my honest review.
I absolutely adored this book. The drawings were all adorable and lovable, and the jokes and motivational words had me going "awwww" several times throughout. A lot of these would be great as motivational posters. I could look at them all day!
I love how these remind me of my cat, and I love that so much! So many of these kitty shenanigans are so relatable. If the goal was to make me smile and laugh, this book definitely succeeded!
I would definitely recommend this book to friends and family, and I would buy a copy! This is suitable for all ages (there a few nonfriendly child words like "shitty" and "damn") but this would be lovely for childrenas aswell as adults.
Ok, I am notorious for loving cat memes and drawings because irl I am VERY allergic to cats. SO, cat memes and drawings is my cat outlet, hence I loved this!! So adorable, I will be coming back to it to get my kitty fill!!!
Such a cute and lighthearted read! I especially loved it because many of the illustrations reminded me of my little black kitten both in looks and personality. A great pick-me-up kind of book, especially if you're a cat lover.
Thanks to NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for providing a free digital ARC of the book to read and leave my honest review.
This comic can across more as a fun motivational book. It was a really cute book and one that I would love to keep on my desk or coffee table.
This was such an adorable book! I follow purr.in.ink on Twitter so I knew I'd love this. The cats
they draw remember me so much of my own cat, Salem. He loves to show his affection with bites and purrs. I highly recommend this book to everyone
This book is purfect!!
This book is so adorable. I have seen this comic on social media; it always makes me smile. This book has lots of sweet affirmations and sometimes laugh-out-loud panels. Sometimes these affirmations are written humorously.
The artwork is adorable with lots of black furry cats.
I highly recommend this book.
I enjoyed this collection of cute comics. The art style is engaging and fun. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a quick, fun read. Thank you NetGalley for this ARC.
***I thank NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an advanced reader copy of this book in return for an honest review***

We recently got two kittens of our own after having a fair few cats visiting us over the previous months and I am not ashamed to admit that I have now moved from being a dog lover to cats!
This book was wonderful to read, it was a book that was heartwarming and funny, there were parts that made me smile and it will be one that can be used as a pick me up when you are feeling down too. It will be a great keepsake.
It is 5 stars from me for this one - a fab book and very highly recommended!
Ana doable, fun book for all cat lovers and likers. It was a great way to cleanse my reading palette between emotional books!
*The Book of Purrs* by Luis Coelho, the creator behind @purr.in.ink, is a delightful collection of comics that brings joy and comfort through the eyes of the internet's favorite googly-eyed feline. Filled with affirmations and whimsical reminders about finding happiness in everyday moments, this book is a purr-fect gift for cat lovers and anyone needing a boost of paws-itivity.
Very cute cat-themed little book of simple affirmations. The author recommends having it around and reading a page whenever you feel like it, and this is definitely the way to read it. I breezed through it in 2 sittings and, when I finished, I immediately went back and started flicking through it.
The art gets a bit repetitive if you just read the book in one go, but I think this would be a non-issue if you just read one page every once in a while.
Though marketed at young adults (probably millenials), I think school-aged children would enjoy it as well, and it would be a good book to work on emotional intelligence with kids - either at home or in the classroom. You should select the pages beforehand, as there is some swearing and some difficult topics like grief and depression.
I don’t own a cat and to be honest, I’m not really a cat person but this was such a great little read!!!
So many cute and funny moments.
One to re-read/ have in your home.
Defiantly one for cat lovers and cat owners.
So I want to start off by saying my cat is laying on my lap right now. I was very prepped to read this book because of that reasoning. This book is definitely not a kids book as there is swearing in it. It's fine for teens or adults. I liked the artwork of the book and thought the cats were adorable but where it lost me was the words. The story wasn't that interesting and I felt like there was like a lot of weird things said in each panel. Also what was the obsession with the cats biting it felt like every other page was talking about cats biting. Maybe I've just been lucky and I don't have cats that bite me but it seemed excessive. Like I said though overall I enjoyed the art style and the cats were drawn adorably but did not enjoy the actual words in story.
I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
Normally I'm not a big fan of internet to print comics but this is without a doubt one of those little pocket books that everyone should carry around in case they need a little pick me up. The messages are warm and fuzzy and it contains cats. The world needs more cats.
I know this says it will archive Oct 22, but I hope you change your mind lol, I would love to keep this as a digital version for bad days!
Super cute fluffy cats are the best thing to grace this world and now there is a book for them. Inspirational jokes and inspirational motivation is provided throughout this book.
Thank you for making this I needed it ❤️

Super cute book, love the art! The small comics are feel good and can be read in any order. Just a fun coffee table book about cats!
