Oh My God!! That was hilarious! I was rolling. Some of the pages had me laughing so hard I snorted. I loved it.

I loved the quirky, dry humor on every page of this book. The author uses cute, seemingly simple drawings to explore deep issues of trust, insecurities, and existential dread. Plus, the turtle wears a beret!

This was adorably relatable. I'd never heard of Poorly Drawn Lines before but I'll definitely be checking out the TV show after this. I loved the characters and laughed out loud at so many of the comics.

Thank you to Andrews McMeel Publishing for providing me a copy for review!

Reza Farazmand's "Hope It All Works Out!" is a delightful and whimsical collection of comics from his popular series, Poorly Drawn Lines. This quick read features a cast of endearing animal characters, including the philosophical Mouse, the nonchalant Bird, the intellectual Turtle, and the ever-optimistic Snail.

Farazmand's simple drawings are surprisingly expressive. His witty and often absurd humor, creates a world that is both charming and relatable. The comics explore themes of friendship, existentialism, and the everyday struggles of life, all while maintaining a lighthearted and humorous tone. I guffawed or snorted out loud a few times.

Fans of the Poorly Drawn Lines webcomic will appreciate the inclusion of both classic favorites and new, never-before-seen comics. The book also offers a deeper dive into the world of these quirky characters, providing insights into their unique personalities and relationships.

While the humor may not be for everyone, those who enjoy absurdist humor and witty observations about life will find "Hope It All Works Out!" to be an enjoyable hour or two of reading. It's a perfect book to pick up when you need a good laugh or a reminder to not take life too seriously.

I’m a fan of this author and Poorly Drawn Lines, and while I would have absolutely loved a sequel to City Monster, this was just as enjoyable. Some of the jokes didn’t completely land, but each one brought a smile to my face. I would love more of the longer form stories because those were my favorite. Would make a great gift for someone! Thank for this review copy!

A funny book that features cute art and dry humour and is a lovely quick read. I love Mouse, Bird, Turtle and Snail they're adorable and so fun to read about and while the art is basic it's cute and actually really fits the comics

Thank you to Andrews Macmeel Publishing and the author for an ARC. I always love reading these comic strips on my social media so when I realised there’s a book coming out, I could not get my hands on it fast enough! I love the absurd yet entertaining tone that the characters in this comic have, they always manage to crack a smile on my face. I would term this book as weirdly funny and sarcastic and hits right on the nose!

Thank you, NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for this advanced reader's copy. This book was hilarious! I am familiar with the drawings of the funny mouse and his troubles. This is more of poor Mouse and his funny faces and troubles as well as his friends, Bird, Turtle, and Snail. There are also cartoons with cats and with other birds as well. They are cute, funny, sarcastic, and a bit irreverent.

This was a cute gift idea but not a purchase I would personally make for myself at this price point. I chuckled a little but wanted more. I feel depressed.

Super fun, but better in small doses. Reading comic after comic gets a bit boring and repetitive. If you've read and liked any Poorly Drawn Lines comic before, you'll like this collection.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for and advance copy.

Poorly Drawn Lines comic is as fresh as ever in this new volume collecting older but also never-before-seen adventures of Mouse, Bird, Turtle and Snail. If you like dry humour, those little critters are sure to leave you laughing page after page.

Pretty fun overall, but after a while the cartoons got a little repetitive.
I guess this would make for a good coffee table book… if I had a coffee table.

I absolutely adored this book!! The cartoons are unrelated so it would be easy to pick a page and random and enjoy. Very funny very witty poems that are so relatable to the modern human experience.

These comics start out as funny and fun but then as the pages turn it starts getting real old real quick. Probably will cause someone to laugh more but I can only take so much downer millennial humor.

I just discovered this comic a few weeks ago, so I was excited to find a volume coming out.

I can definitely attest to its charm and readability as someone who has read very little of the previous material.

Humor is hit or miss for me, but this suited me well, and I definitely chuckled.

A fun, quick read.

These comic strips are the highlight of my social media feed when they pop up, so I jumped to a chance to read a whole book of them. And it turns out, they work in quantity too. The laconic insights into life through the eyes of Mouse, Bird, Snail and Turtle are funny and poignant. Other characters make appearances too, like some cats, the snake king and the mountain expert. And although it’s called Poorly Drawn Lines, the simple illustrations in full colour work well in conveying a whole range of emotions—unless you’re Bird, of course. Will recommend this for anyone who needs a good chuckle or a new perspective to their problems.

This was amazing, I absolutely love the humour in it. I definitely want little postcards or fridge magnets of some of the panels to display. You don't have to read it all in one go, you can flip to a random page and enjoy it in any order. 5/5.

Thank you for the ARC!
