I’ve seen some of these comics while perusing sites on the internet, and they’re very funny and relatable! I enjoy the simple illustrations, and the panels are very well organized. This is a really good collection, and I enjoyed it a lot!
Hope It All Works Out! is a hilariously relatable book full of comics. I enjoyed the simplistic illustrations and love feeling like I'm not alone in my anxiety or existential questions.
I received an ARC from Andrews McMeel Publishing via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
I LOVE following Poorly Drawn Lines on Instagram, so I was so excited to see that there would be a book! These comics are just so fun and full of real-life thoughts that make you want to share them with everyone around you. Perfect coffee table book or office bookshelf material!
Another hilarious collection of works. Faraxmand's sense of humor is spot-on and I bookmarked over half the pages because I wanted to immediately share them with friends or hang them up on my walls. I can't wait for more.
Hope It All Works Out! By Reza Farazmand is another hilarious entry into the world of mouse, bird, cat, fish, turtle, snail, hedgehog, and more existential animal friends. I’ve been reading these for years and they are all so relatable to real life. Natural Enemies is one of my favorites because while it hits home, it makes me giggle about credit card debt. My favorite character is the orange Cat because they are so naive about life in general. They remind me of the younger “stay inside” generation. I can think of one person in my life that reminds me of each character! I know that some people don’t find this material interesting or funny, but I can’t help cracking up, this is my exact type of humor! All the hats just kill me and snail’s tiny suitcase and sunglasses.
I follow the author on instagram and am a huge fan. I’m thrilled there is a collection of the comics to expand the fan base. I laughed out loud many times and was sad when the book was over. Thanks to Netgalley for the free copy in exchange for an honest review.
Though not every comic was a winner, this collection is both zany and charming. Somehow it's comforting to experience existential woes and anxiety through the eyes of these goofy little critters. May we all have friends as good as Mouse, Bird, Snail, and Turtle.
