Snail, mouse, bird, turtle and all the other characters cracked me up. Sarcastic and witty comics to make you relax from a long day.

This is so cute and funny, this will be a great gift! Perfect for anyone who enjoys some dry humor or maybe is a bit more of an introvert.

I've seen these comics floating around for a long time and always really enjoyed them. This collection was very funny, had a good flow for the comics even when they didn't lead into each other, and I found a lot of the sentiments relatable enough I kept wanting to show specific pages to friends. Really cute and a fun quick read.

This book was pretty funny! Some panels gave me a chuckle and some made me laugh out loud. About half of it was meh and half was funny. I would recommend it to someone who wants quick laughs and a fast read. It would make a good gift!

This is a series of mini comics with adult jokes. If you want something that makes you laugh and are a bit on the dark side, sometimes this might be the book for you. The animal characters with their friendships and just living life.

I was already very familiar with this comic, so I jumped at the chance to read an ARC from NetGalley.

This is a cute book of simple, timeless and often poignant comics.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing this book in exchange for an honest review.
I enjoy these simple but sometimes profound comics. The illustrations are very cute. I did read this in one sitting so some of it got repetitive to me but I think it works best if it's read a few pages a day. It's great if you have a couple minutes to kill and need a little laugh.

As someone who has followed Reza Farazmand's @poorlydrawnlines account for years now, I was so excited to see this compilation of comics. I tore through this one and had to remind myself to slow down. Farazmand does such a fantastic job of capturing existential angst and millennial anxiety with so much humor. (Or, as the book puts it, "chronic existential dread punctuated by moments of great fun.") Some of the recurring themes in this collection include: anxiety burnout, and friendship. I'm looking forward to the physical release of this book so I can get a copy for my desk.

Thank you to NetGalley for my advanced copy!

I enjoy reading Poorly Drawn Lines when it comes up in my Instagram feed. However, an entire collection of the comic didn't work for me. Seeing the strips all together felt repetitive at times, and disjointed at others. I think I prefer this series in smaller doses.

This collection of comics was even better than I expected. I've followed the author for years and when I found out they were releasing a full compilation of them I knew I had to read it.

We follow a mouse, a bird, a turtle and a snail as they navigate daily life, thoughts and relationships with dark humor and, at times, more insightful circumstances that you'd imagine. If you've ever felt unproductive, overwhelmed, lost and, well, sad...then this is the book for you. You will laugh at life absurdities and enjoy some empty thoughts you may have had before. Highly relatable and funny.

This is the perfect pick me up, a quick read that can be read in one sitting or enjoy one comic a day every morning. A great gift for any person that likes existential jokes and random situations.

I would like to start this review by praising the illustrations in this book. It is well illustrated; it is simple, clean, and good to look at. Excelled in that area. In terms of the content, it is well written, and the dialogs between the characters are very good and humorous. However, for me, half way through the book, I got quite bored with the dialogs; there are multiple parts where I did not care that much about the characters and their topics. There are certain sections as well where I can relate to what they are talking about, and in there, it did  grab my attention again. I just hoped that this book would grab my attention from the beginning until the end; unfortunately, it did not. However, this is a subjective experience. What did not work for me might work for you. Overall, this is a good book. 3 solid stars. I recommend this.

Appreciation: Thank you to Netgalley, the author and the publisher for providing me with an ARC of this book.

I was already familiar with and love Poorly Drawn Lines, but I think this collection is great for old and new fans alike. It's a well-balanced collection with solid laughs throughout, as well as some more emotional and relatable comics spaced out throughout the book too. This is a very fun, funny, and cute book.

I received a free ebook from NetGalley in exchange for a fair review.

Oh I love Reza Farazmand’s comics. Love. Adore. Thoroughly enjoy. If you want to see existential dread in a mouse, you’ve come to the right book. Here are some of my favourites, in no particular order:

Empty
Another mess
Been real
Everything
Nothing ever happens
Habit

Honestly, the artwork is simple and charming, the social commentary biting. You should read this book.

I’ve been following Poorly Drawn Lines for a while and its relatable and lovable characters. I could find some old favorites (forever a trash bird stan!) and new ones (although I’m not sure I could pick out those) and I love Farazand’s subtle wit and humor. I’ll buy this one when it’s out.

I feel so lucky to have gotten a copy of this book. I usually see these comics pop up on my feeds from time to time and it always makes me laugh and smile. I love how simple and charming the art is. It's downright adorable in its simplicity and amusing. The characters are witty and sarcastic and I love it! The humor is relatable and funny. It's the kind of thing you love to send to your friends via text or messenger. I kept flipping through and before I knew it, it was over. I was sad to reach the end because I had so much fun reading these comics. I highly recommend this book and will definitely find myself rereading it whenever I need a chuckle.

Interesting mix of cute, silly, anxiety, fear, and friendship. I think I liked it, but it gave me mixed feelings.

I have always loved Poorly Drawn Lines, so I was very excited to get this ARC. The illustrations are adorable as always, and the messages are cute and funny. The main problem people seem to have is that it's redundant, without understanding that you aren't supposed to read every comic at once. It's meant to be a daily reader type thing, so please ignore those reviews. If you love comics, you will love this!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with this book for free in exchange for my review! All opinions are my own.
