At first, it’s almost impossible to root for Richard, the protagonist of I Am Having So Much Fun Here Without You. He starts as an infuriatingly flawed character—a man with a devoted wife, Anne, and a child, yet he decides to have an affair. However, when he has an "aha" moment and realizes he should have cherished Anne all along, the story shifts.

Richard embarks on a heartfelt quest to win back his wife, and in the process, his journey of reflection and redemption transforms him into a character you might actually like. But will Anne take him back? Does she even want to?

This novel evolves into something far more profound and surprising than you might initially expect. By the end, you’ll find yourself thoroughly invested in Richard’s journey and likely enjoying the ride more than you anticipated.

Although ihis is not typically the type of book I would pick up, I enjoyed this story of cheating husband and how he found his way. Best for a summer book list. Not much thinking required
