I thoroughly enjoyed this different and special book .It is a story of love ,family and betrayal. Very atmospheric I felt I was really there ,perhaps it was witchcraft !! A lovely book of Family and past generations ,some lovely characters ,I particularly liked Myrtle and Harry.A very special read . Thank you to NetGalley for my ARC.

Favorite character: Harry
-He is kind, gentle, protective and caring, and all the good things we hope to have in a partner. He reminds me of a soft place to land and he is comforting.

I’ve started to choose books to read based on the cover alone. More times than not, it’s a pleasant surprise. This is one of those books.

The atmospheric imagery in this allows the reader to be transported to their world and I felt like the pages came alive as I read.
