A Skye Full of Stars is book 2 in the Skye Sisters trilogy from Sue Moorcroft and her 25th published novel. It is a beautiful mix of Christmas customs in Skye and Sweden and we’re treated to a delight as always from Sue.
I loved seeing the family sharing their traditions with Ezzie and Thea, really making Christmas at the Hall extra special.
The chemistry between Mats and Ezzie was evident from the start but misunderstandings and secrets held them both back from admitting their feelings.
Sue always writes such beautiful warm-hearted stories and the trust and support Ezzie and Thea receive from the Larsons is so wonderful. A real treat of a read and one to savour.

A wonderful follow on from the first in this series continuing the story of three adopted sisters. Brilliant characters and intriguing storyline.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC in return for an honest review.

I enjoyed this romantic escapist read focusing on family with a festive setting in Skye. It is the second book in The Skye Sisters Trilogy, and whilst all three sisters are featured, this is Ezzie's story and takes her and readers on a resonating emotional journey. I appreciated the beautifully described setting on Skye and the complex characters and familial dynamic. The emotion draws the reader into Ezzie's life, and the conflicts, which are so authentic, make the story even more engaging. At times, lasting romantic happiness seems unlikely but always possible. It's a heartwarming festive read.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher.

Book 2 in Sue Moorcroft's Skye series. As usual, Sue explores family relationships in this enchanting Christmas romance. Just right for curling up by the fire with a big mug of hot chocolate.
Not to be missed but do read book 1 first.

Hear more of Ess as she st et ps c up to the managers role and her relationship with the owners’ family . Reacquaint with the other sisters too as their lives carry forward. The weather may be bleak and cold but the story is heart- warming

So this is book two in a series, I haven't read the previous book, so can't say if this would have been of any help when reading this book. It took me a few chapters to really engage with this story but once I did, it became a really enjoyable page turner.

This is book two in this series.
Ezzie is excited about the upcoming Christmas season.
Her job as manager at the Larson Scottish home is perfect. All her plans for a quiet holiday ends when she learns Larson family are coming for Christmas.
This was a nice story. It has some family drama and some surprises. Definitely add to your list

Thanks to the Publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.

I absolutely enjoyed reading this second book in the series.

The story was about two of the sisters living on the island of Skye who both work at the stately house which is also a hotel. Thea is a head Gardner and Ezz is manager of the estate.

When the owners inform Ezz that they’ll be coming earlier than planned for Christmas, she needs to ensure everything is ready for them.

The story has so much happening for the sisters as well as the owners of the place where they work.

I loved the setting and it made me wish I was there from reading the descriptions.

I highly recommend this book.

A Skye full of Stars is full of family - loyalty and dramas. Set in the Scottish Isles the characters are a kix of British and Swedish, found family and second chance at love are the themes of the story.

Lovely, emotional continuation of the series, The Skye Sisters Trilogy. Sue Moorcroft is a favorite author of mine and she created a wonderful plot full of life-like characters in this series. I was drawn into the story immediately and felt such a kinship with the joys and disappointments that the characters faced.

I was wondering how book two would end, since I saw no way for the relationship that had developed in the pages to continue, but as an expert storyteller, Ms. Moorcroft gave a believable solution to the almost unsolvable situation.

I definitely recommend this wonderful book. It was a nice escape from real life, where quite often there is not a happy conclusion to difficult situations.

Thank you to Avon Books UK and NetGalley for giving me the pleasure of reading the advance reader copy, with no obligation to write a review. My review is written freely as a hobby, and is totally my own opinion, not influenced by receiving the ARC.

I loved the first book about Thea Wynter and its setting on the Isle of Skye. This is the second in the trilogy about the Wynter sisters.
The main focus of this novel is Ezzie. She too works at Rothach Hall. The Swedish owners of Rothach Hall the Larsson family, decide to all come to the Hall for Christmas creating a hectic schedule for Ezzie.
Ezzie's world is then turned upside down when some unexpected visitors arrive to specifically see Ezzie.
A gorgeous tale with some surprises. Very Christmassy.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for the ARC.

This is book #2 of the Sky Sisters trilogy. I missed the first book (how did that happen?!!), but it was very easy to read out of series order although I will definitely be going back to catch up with the book I missed! We find ourselves on the beautiful Isle of Skye. I've never been that far north before, but the author has given us some great descriptions of what it is like there, and it's now certainly somewhere I would like to go! It's set around Christmas and we meet the newly promoted manager of Rothach Hall, Ezzie Wynter. There are three sisters which the trilogy is based around, and for this book the focus is most definitely on Ezzie. She is a lovely character and I could really connect with her. Being the new manager, she finds her predecessor hasn't left her with an easy job, especially when the large family who own the Hall are coming over from Sweden to spend Christmas in Skye. Mats Larsson arrives first with his children, and whilst he takes a little time to warm to, I do like how his relationship forms with Ezzie and it was a pleasure to follow their stories.

The storyline flowed along wonderfully and it was lovely to meet all the Larsson family. Ezzie's storyline is quite emotional in parts with some family issues for her throughout the story, but I was hooked into the storyline and felt every emotion along the way! All the other characters were very likeable and added to their own thing to the storyline. It's a very seasonal story and it's absolutely perfect for Christmas time. The book is very family orientated and sharing their family Christmas certainly puts you in the festive spirit. It's a warm-hearted read with plenty of family interaction, a little romance and lots of drama! Would recommend!

I thoroughly enjoyed the first book of the trilogy and this is an excellent and welcome return to the Isle of Skye and the Wynter sisters. The focus is on the middle sister Ezzie in her new position as manager of Rothach Hall. She has new responsibilities but the different families in her life prove tricky to navigate. A lovely festive read.

Firstly what a beautiful, striking cover, the colours just work so well.
This is the second book in the trilogy and it certainly does not disappoint. We meet up again with the Wynter sisters, with the focus more on Ezzie this time, however Thea is not forgotten. I really liked how although the focus shifts to Ezzie’s story, the author still very much keeps Thea’s story going throughout, as well as that of their other sister Valentina.
I love the sense of family in this book, the sisters who will do anything for each other, but may still have the odd falling out along the way.
As ever, the author describes the island, the scenery, everything so well. You will see Rothach Hall in your minds eye, in all its winter glory.
All in all a beautiful second instalment to this series, I cannot wait until the next.
My advice, buy it, read it, enjoy it, savour it!

Beautiful. I loved being back in Skye again with the Wynter sisters. This time it’s Ezzies turn, and what a turn she has. She had everything thrown at her the poor thing, she was turned around and upside down. Then cue Mats. I loved how he saw Ezzie, even when she thought she was hiding her true feelings. He was a solid wall of support for her when she thought she had no one.

The appearance of her birth parents really upset Ezzie and with Thea having her own issues and Val not talking to her, Mats sees she’s struggling and supports her, his parents doing the same, showing that she was just more than an employee to them, but indeed thought of like family. Grete was so kind and thoughtful, not just to Ezzie and Thea but also in her support of Mats and his difficult choices regarding his kids and his ex wife and his feelings for Ez.

Some amazing descriptions of Skye, no matter the weather, its beauty still shines through. Some very hard hitting themes addressed, sensitively and beautifully. I can’t wait to see what comes next.

Ezzie is the newly promoted manager of Rothach Hall, a Scottish manor house owned by the Larson family as a holiday residence but also open to the public. She is preparing for the family's Christmas visit due in a couple of months time when she surely finds out that part of the family will be arriving early, throwing her preparations into disarray. Enter Mats with his two children plus his mother where his impulsiveness causes her to question her continued employment there.
This is the second book in the series about three adopted sisters, somehow I've managed to miss the first one, however was easily read as a standalone. The setting is fantastic, I would certainly love to visit it but would have to take my thermals. I took to Ezzie, although Mats was a little bit more difficult, I can't relate directly to her issues arising from being adopted but can to her self doubts. There were many highs and lows in their developing relationship, including a slightly spicy but not overly explicit encounter, but the long term future is never certain. Add in some charming children, animals and Christmas festivities into the mix and this was a book that I did enjoy.
I received an advance copy of this book from the publisher through Netgalley, however this did not influence my review of the book.

Sue Moorcroft is one of my ALL time favourite authors. I can't beleive it when I'm giving the opportunity to read any of her books. Andnsometimes wish I hadn't come across some of them just so I could read them all fresh once more!
She really is a cherished author for me.
I can't wait to get stuck back into these characters every time I hear there is a new one. And this time we are on book 2 of the Skye sisters stories.
The characters are brilliant. The storyline is brilliant. The setting gorgeous...take me there please. Every book of hers I'd like to be a villager and be one of the community.
You won't hear a bad word from me about this book. Or the author. I even have a very real.dread that one day I'll have read them all and or she won't write anymore. Yes yes that is how much books and special authors of talent mean to me.
I can't wait for the next one. Please keep them coming Sue.

"A Skye Full of Stars" is the second book in a trilogy by Sue Moorcroft about the Wynter sisters. The women were all adopted but are closer than many birth sisters. The book can be read as a stand-alone novel but is even better when given the full context of the first of the trilogy. This time the main focus is on Esmerelda (aka Ezz or Ezzie), the middle sister and a career woman who was recently promoted.

At the heart of the story are friendship, love and, above all, families. Characters come from different walks of life, and even different nationalities, and include some really cute children. This is a great book to curl up with and get engrossed in.

Thanks to Net Galley and the publishers for the opportunity to read and review this book.
