I found this story to be captivating and adorable. The chemistry between the MMCs was palpable and undeniable.

Very cutesy small town romance! love a good, city girl inherits family farm 🫶🏽 loved our grumpy mmc. also looooved the "gardening" aspect of the book lol. Thank you netgalley for this arc 💕

I just couldn't really get into this one. There was heavy parts of the story, and there wasn't enough romance to balance it all out. It was not what I was expecting.

Love in Bloom is a really fun concept and it has some truly funny moments. I loved reading about Emma arriving on the farm and trying to pitch in. I also enjoyed watching Dan show her she deserved to be taken care of and their chess related banter. I was excited to see how the book was going to wrap things up.
Unfortunately, I just didn't enjoy the later part of the book nearly as much. I felt like Emma's character wasn't consistent throughout the book. I liked that she learned to ask for help but in the first half she was very competent and liked her work. I would have liked to see her find a way to use her skills for the farm. I was also left feeling like while the farm was no longer at risk for the moment there was more resolution needed.
Overall, I think this book tried to be too many things. It had elements of mystery and suspense but was also a romcom and had some family secrets. I have read books that combined suspense and mystery with comedic elements masterfully but I didn't feel like this quite pulled it off.

I actually really enjoyed this book. It was the perfect fluffy read.
I loved the small town farm romance between Emma and Dan. I really enjoyed the family feel from the town and how even though her grandparents passed away in the beginning of the book, you felt their presence throughout the entirety of the story.
The drama in the third act kind of felt like it came out of left field but also expected at the same time?
I'd definitely read more from the author in the future.

This book is absolutely, positively wonderful! I am so surprised that I have not heard more about this book because it was so beautifully written. As a black woman we tend to take on everything and refuse to ask for help. So when Emma becomes an owner of a farm that her grandparents used to own she is drowning and believes she can handle it all. Thankfully this small community helps her even before she realizes she needs it, especially Dan who works on the farm with her.
Their relationship is so precious and the way they grow both as a couple and as individuals is so beautiful. He is the first person to help her through her grief as well as the farm and she is the person that brings him back to life so to speak. They are such a cute pair and even though I am not a third act breakup person this was well handled. If you have not read this book you should! This book deserves so much more hype and I plan to purchase this book for my own personal collection soon!

What a delightful, Touching and steamy romance.
Emma is exactly where she wants to be in life. On track with her career and relationship with her political power seeking fiance. They have the pedigree, education and social standing to support it all. Until Emma is called to the reading of her estranged grandparents will.....They left her a farm in the middle of nowhere???? It has Emma questioning everything.
Dan has worked on the farm for a few years and built a lasting and deep connection with Emma's grandparents and when they meet at the reading of the will the connection only being physical is instant. When Emma shows up at the farm to decide next steps, she discovers the uniqueness and important impact the farm has on the town and community.

This book was painfully boring. There was no chemistry between the love interests and there were so many things happening in the side plots that it felt messy. The audiobook was appallingly bad.

Emma Walter’s life takes a turn when she loses her job and dumps her boyfriend. Not knowing what else to do, she decides to go live in the farm that she recently inherited from her grandparents in Green Acres, Georgia. She doesn’t know anything about farming but she’s also not afraid of hard work. Plus the handsome farm manager, Dan Pednekar is sure to help her, right?
Blackmail is illegal, as much as selling non medical marijuana is in Georgia. The sheriff should have known that and brought it up in the conversation to save the situation. More, they are growing and selling medical grade cannabis which is legal. But maybe I’m missing something in the specifics.
Sure, they still would have had to figured out how to keep the secret if they don’t want it made public, but it’s a factor a political individual on the rise would know.
I liked Dan and his romantic gestures.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. Thank you, to NetGalley and the publisher, Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for the opportunity to read this book.
Blurb from Goodreads: For fans of B. K. Borison and Sarah Adams comes a cheeky, small-town romantic comedy about finding yourself in the weeds . . . only to find love, too.
This was a beautiful book and I enjoyed this one. I devoured this within just a couple of sittings because I wanted to see what was going to happen next with Emma & Dan (as well as the rest of the characters in Green Acres.
When Emma inherits a farm that she was not prepared for at a time when her life is in ruins, she decides to take the opportunity to take the farm on and see if a new lifestyle is right for her. During her time in Green Acres, she has to deal with a farm resident who runs it (with a secret crop being grown in the greenhouse in the back), nosy small-town people, and learning the history of her family that she was never aware of.
This book had me guessing the whole time and brought me so much joy in so many areas. I loved Emma and Dan’s relationship and the way it grew with familial ties being involved. I recommend reading this if you love a good small-town romance with some “skeletons in the closet” family drama.

This was a lighthearted small-town romance that also had some big stakes with it. I liked the romance, Emma and Dan were very cute together and had great chemistry. I also really liked Emma’s growth from having this idea of what she should be to be happy to actually being happy on the farm. I hated Teddy and his involvement in the third-act breakup, which could’ve easily been avoided, but it seems like most romances have one so it was expected. I didn’t like the situation with the farm and how it became known throughout a worldwide community. It took me out of the magic of a small-town romance and made me think too much about the logistics and real-world consequences of it.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It was a refreshing and captivating experience, and I found the writing to be both engaging and accessible. The story flowed smoothly, making it easy to stay connected to the plot and characters without feeling lost or overwhelmed. The author struck a perfect balance, keeping things interesting while still making the content feel approachable. Overall, it was a wonderful read, and I would definitely recommend it to others who are looking for an enjoyable and easy-to-digest book.

What an enjoyable story.
Emma Walter is living the life. Boyfriend, job, living in the city. It all changes though when she suddenly has no boyfriend or job. Now, just the inheritance of a family farm. From her grandparents, whom she hasn't seen in years.
When she travels to the small town of Green Acres, she isn't relieved with the warmest of welcomes. But with nothing else to do, she decides to live on the farm. And she's not alone. On the farm is Dan Pednekar, who's been at her side since she arrived in town. And not in a totally sweet way.
While Emma tries her hand at farming (with crazy results), she slowly comes to realize that the family farm that everyone loves isn't exactly what she bargained for. There's secrets there that her grandparents kept that EVERYONE seems to be in on except her. One that has touched so many peoples lives but is a very risky and dangerous endeavor.
I enjoyed all the quirky characters we meet. Dan is a sweetheart once we get to know him.
It was really sad about Emma's family past. I was wondering the whole book why it was the way it was.
I hope to read more from this author. It's a sweet novel.

I really liked this one. The concept of this book was one I knew I would love. I think that a few parts fell flat for me, I didn’t love the reason for their third act break-up. I could see it coming from a mile away so it was frustrating to read. I HATE Teddy’s character. He sucks so bad and the fact that he got so far in his manipulation was so frustrating to me and to read. I did love Emma’s character and I loved Dan as well. They were fun characters to read about! I love Lucy Eden’s writing style and will definitely be checking out more books by her.

This was a cute, lighthearted at some points romance story. I loved the setting of the farm life and the girl that’s coming from the big corporate job, city life, with a rude bf. It def gave me hallmark vibes. The (trees) situation with the grandparents was kinda strange to me but funny. Overall it’s a solid read.

Thank you to the publisher for the review copy! I just couldn't get in the mood for this one, but I do love this author!

Thank you Forever and NetGalley for the DRC of Love in Bloom! All opinions in this review are my own.
The premise of Love in Bloom is really fun and it is easy to fall in love with the cast of characters in this small town! I didn't love the time jumps because it made Emma and Dan's relationship feel like instalove at times (even though it wasn't).

This was such a cute story. I love a good small town where everyone is in everyone’s business! I really enjoyed reading Emma and Dan’s story as they not only figured out it their relationship but also really learned and grieved the loss of the ones that came before that they thought would be their forever. However I really wished that we got more expansion in some of the plot especially with her mother and the past. That is mentioned frequently and then quickly summarized in the last chapter in a paragraph and shoved aside. It made me wonder why it was even included in the plot to begin with.
Overall this was a cute read and I’m definitely interested in if Max is going to get her HEA too!

This book was the perfect fast-paced small town romance that had me laughing out loud, giggling and swooning , and had me cheering on the characters fiercely🤎
The originality of the premise really made it not your normal “big city gal inherits property in a small country town” trope, and that really added to my enjoyment of the book!!!
