Another fast pace, action packed mystery novel in the Falcon Point Suspense series. Marit, a fashion model, is in Paris for Fashion Week with her boyfriend Lars. She becomes a suspect in the theft of a famous fashion designer's work. She turns to her friend Cole and his girlfriend Isabelle who have CIA training for help.
My enjoyment of the story was enhanced by the fact I was in Paris this month. It made it fun to envision some of the settings. I trust the authors to make the story exciting and it was nice to see some progress in the personal relationships of the couples. This can easily be read as a stand alone novel but I enjoyed the previous two books which includes more background on the couples.
I really enjoyed this book! Marit’s glamorous Fashion Week trip in Paris turns into a high-stakes adventure when she’s accused of a crime she didn’t commit. The way her friends, Cole, Isabelle, and Lars, step in to help her shows such strong bonds of friendship—it was so fun to see them all work together.
The Parisian setting added so much charm and glamour to the story, making it feel like I was right there with the characters. Isabelle going undercover as a runway model was such a fun and unexpected twist, and it was fascinating to see her step into a role so far outside her comfort zone. The teasing and banter between Cole and Lars, especially, was hilarious and gave the story a lot of heart and personality.
The mystery was well-paced and kept me guessing all the way to the end. It was clever without being too heavy, which made it perfect for a light, entertaining read. The combination of suspense, humor, friendship, and a touch of romance was perfect! I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a fun, engaging story with a lot of heart—and a little Parisian flair!
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the eARC in exchange for my honest opinion.
A fun continuation to the Falcon Point Series.! This book in the series features cousins Lars and Cole and their girl friends Marit and Isabelle. This book is full of action and suspense with a little romance thrown in too. It was a fun read that keep me interested throughout the book. I read it on a couple sittings!
Although this book is part of a series it could easily be read as a stand alone.
Ten out of ten stars. I love everything Sian and Traci do and this is no different. It was seriously great.

This book is part of the Falcon Point series but could be read as a stand-alone
novel, although I would suggest reading this entire series. A glove left in a
fashion designers' offices and theft of designs pull Merit into a police
investigation. Merit is a model in the fashion week line up in Paris and with a
rough start of the . is glad to have Lars and Cole to help release her
as a suspect. With thoughts of keeping Merit safe, they put Isabelle a CIA..
operative in as a tryout to model during fashion week.
This book was a fast read, and I loved the description of Paris.1
This is a good continuation of the Falcon Point series with cousins Cole and Lars as the headliners.
Marit, Lars' girlfriend, is caught up in some intrigue during fashion week. As Cole, Lars and Isabella get involved to help solve a theft and murder, things get a bit dangerous. Who knew fashion week could get so ugly!
The characters are enjoyable, the danger real, The descriptions of Paris are fun.
A modern day crime novel, this feels as if it’s written for the teen/twenties market. This is part of a series, but there’s no need to read the other ones first (but you will enjoy doing that!) The, very pleasant, main characters are two couples in their twenties. I loved getting a peek behind the fashion industry scene. The crime is well thought through, the story is entertaining, the setting in Paris is great, and since it’s not too deep, it makes for a perfect vacation read. Realistic? Probably not. Fun to read? Most definitely.
Thank you NetGalley and Covenant Communications for providing me with an ARC. I was not required to leave a positive review and all opinions are my own.
