It was an okay read. Girl with confidence issues meets dominant caveman who is rolling in the dough. pretty predictable but left a bit of a cliffhanger. Very 50 shades like. It was a fast book but nothing too remarkable.
I received this free eARC novel from NetGalley. This is my honest review.
This has been on my TBR pile for so long, and I'm glad I finally got around to it. I really enjoyed the storyline and seeing the characters change throughout the story was a great character development. The plot was great and kept my attention. I'm glad I got the chance to read this and will be on the lookout for more in the future!
This is the first time reading anything by this author, so I didn't really know what to expect. This book was fast paced and easy to read. There were lots of twists and turns that I didn't expect. I look forward to reading more from this author. I highly recommend this book.
Hmm.. I have mixed feeling about this one. I liked the style of writing, and will likely look to see what else Colet Abedi comes out with, but there were also quite a few things I didn't like about this book. I'm all for stereotypes, especially in an erotic romance such as this, but I just couldn't fall in love with Clayton. The male lead was too mean and treated Sophie too much like an object. Again, this is kind of expected in a book like this but it was just too much for me. Unfortunately, being unable to connect with one of the main characters put a damper on the book. There were some characters I enjoyed, like Elizabeth and Erik and Orie. But overall, character development was lacking. It was a quick, easy read though in terms of writing style which is why I finished the book!
An enjoyable novel which was easy to read and hard to put down. Very enjoyable.
