I really enjoyed this book and felt the author did an excellent job at creating characters I cared about an a storyline that helps my interest. I just reread this one in 2023 and realized I never left a review on NetGalley, so I am doing that now.
This book was pretty great - I like this style of book, when the characters imagine a different present - but I did not love the ending.
Cute book from net galley about a girl who hits her head and then seems to have a double life a la Sliding Doors. I liked it, but the ending wasn't particularly satisfying, although I'm not sure it could have gone another way.
Sweet and poignant, Atkins’ latest novel unfolds beautifully and will touch readers deeply. If one can suspend a bit of disbelief about what is happening, the way things come together in the end is heartfelt, gorgeous and completely believable.
