Not You Again was super cute. I loved the reality tv show plot and how they were reconnecting without knowing they would. I enjoyed both characters and how it was dual POV. It was a fun, unique story and one I absolutely recommend! The female narrator was really great but the male narrator was not my favorite.

What a cute, second chance romance! It’s stories like this that have made me come to realize how much I do enjoy this romance trope, which I swore off before.
The characters were fun and entertaining, and I loved the audio format too!

Not You Again by Ingrid Pierce is an entertaining second-chance romance with a fun reality TV twist. Andie and Kit’s story had plenty of drama and tension, making it an engaging read. The premise was unique, and I enjoyed seeing their past unravel as they navigated their unexpected reunion. While some parts felt a bit rushed or lacking depth, the audiobook narration was fantastic and helped keep me invested in the story. Overall, it was an enjoyable listen, especially for fans of reality-show-inspired romances, but it didn’t completely blow me away.

The premise was intriguing: two people matched on a reality dating show only to discover they are exes with unresolved history. I loved the "he falls first" dynamic and the reality show twist on second-chance romance, and the chemistry between the characters was great. However, the constant miscommunication was frustrating. They struggled to open up about their past, which hindered emotional growth. Despite Kit’s desire for reconciliation, their relationship felt lust-focused with unresolved issues. By the third act, I was unsure if they could make it long-term. The potential is there, but the messy third act kept me from fully enjoying it.

Andie has gained quite the following after her unique designer wedding gowns grabbed attention on TikTok. She's asked to participate in a reality show where she would marry a stranger and the $100k prize forces her to acquiesce. To her complete dismay, the groom is not a stranger and, in fact, the one that got away, Kit.
I have a big crush on books based on reality TV. I crave the nonsense and the drama because I expect everything to go wrong until it ulitmately goes right. This was a fun spin on Married at First Sight. I want to see more of these cute-disasters.
The audiobook is a really fun listen. Kelsey Navarro Foster and John William Maddux have great voices to play at these main characters.
Thank you to Dreamscape Media and Netgalley for the alc. All thoughts are my own.

This was a sweet and emotional second chance romance. Kit & Andie both obviously struggle with moving on from their past, but for different reasons.
I love how Kit shows how much he loves Andie by his actions, he is scared of loving and losing, but he is such a sweetheart to her. I love how Kit was all in from the beginning. He was so sweet and kind even knowing he was up against a huge wall.
Both Kit & Andie had to unlearn some things to help them heal, but they both loved each other so much. They both had to navigate their “new” relationship, while maneuvering around camera crews, “fake dates” all while navigating their real feelings and emotions.
There was chemistry and love & hope.

This was a fun contemporary romance. I wouldn't call it a rom-com, a bit too much unresolved angst in this second-chance romance. But it was definitely enjoyable. Having been born & raised in the Atlanta area, I enjoyed the setting. I liked the couple, poor communication skills and all. The premise is all too current - a reality show - one that's about pairing up strangers who are a good match on paper and having them marry to see how it works out - accidentally puts two people together who were in a serious relationship in college. They have some unresolved issues stemming from how that relationship ended. As I always say about romances - we know where they'll end up, but is the journey enjoyable? For me, it was. I listened to the audiobook, and the narration by Kelsey Navarro Foster and John William Maddux was excellent. After this satisfying debut, I'll be on the lookout for Ingrid Pierce's next book.

The idea of characters meeting and being on a reality dating show is something new to me in book form, and it was actually a really refreshing change up. To make it even more interesting, our characters had met before and dated in college. Andie isn't pleased that her best match is the one man that completely broke her heart, but she's only in this for the money. If a couple decides to end in divorce, they'll receive $100,000 in damages, a condition that isn't exactly advertised. Kit can't believe his eyes, it's Andie. The only woman he's ever loved, and the one that got away.
I thought the segments of the TV show were well done, and the work they put in with their producer and cameraman made for some heartfelt scenes. The fact that some of their fellow tv show members become close friends is another feature that I greatly enjoyed.
Andie and Kit have history to overcome, like any second chance romance, and I thought the openness and vulnerability they were willing to show was pretty well played. Their relationship really developed well, though when the third act break-up came around, I really wondered if these two should be together.
A huge part of the emotional build up for me was due to John William Maddux's narrating of Kit. He brought the emotion, and I was so locked in to this audio. Kelsey Navarro Foster did well as Andie, getting her capable independence well, though when emotions were higher, she held back a little bit. Which did fit Andie, but created a gap between her chapters and Kit's in the audio. Overall, I still thoroughly enjoyed the audio experience.

This was a cute story. I liked how they met back up randomly on a reality tv show. I Enjoyed the characters and plot. The narration was good as well.

Given the huge following of reality shows like Love is Blind and Love Island, I can see a huge interest in this book. It is quite cute and follows along interestingly enough with the reality show take. I personally, just found the created conflict to be a little frustrating and over the top. Overall, though I believe those that like romantic comedies and reality shows will find this to be an easy and enjoyable read.
The audio quality was good, and the book was enjoyable to listen to.

This book was so stinking cute! i loved every cotton candy moment of it. I highly recommend it. its just a fun book of love and silliness.

First you think you're listening to a silly little rom com and then you're tearing up at work at the angst of the third act breakup. This book was so good!! If you are a fan of love is blind or especially married at first sight, this has that behind the scenes reality show aspect. Second chance romance of a couple who hasn't spoken in 10 years now unexpectedly married for a show they both need for different reasons.
This man.. it's easier to forgive him for what he did years ago when 1 you find out why obviously and 2 in current time he's taking care of the FMC, massaging her hands (she's a wedding dress designer/seamstress) and supporting her small business in any way he can. I found his background of growing up poor and losing his father when he did was understandable trauma and processing he needed to do and it was beautiful to see him learn how to express that effectively with the FMC, someone he never lost chemistry with.
The narration was great, especially the MMC narrator. The audiobook was very 2x speed friendly. Thank you to Dreamscape for the ALC!

My second this summer romance read where the romance takes place on a game show. The premise of the game show is that you are matched with someone you are completely compatible with and marry them first thing, then as the show plays out over two months, you get to test out the relationship and see if you want to stay married in the end. Andie, a wedding dress designer signs on desperate to divorce at the end and get money in damages, but when she marries Kit, her former college love, will she be willing to give it a chance in the name of love?

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for gifting me this audiobook for free in exchange for my review! All opinions are my own.
This was a fabulous enemies to lovers book. I loved the chemistry between Kit and Andie. I loved how Kelsey Navarro Foster and John William Maddox brought these characters to life. This book is sexy and fun. It also has a lot of humor to it.
I will definitely look out for more books written by Ingrid Pierce in the future. She writes a really beautiful romance!
Many Thanks again to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with this audiobook in exchange for my honest review.

Wedding dress designer Andie is hoping to make it to fashion week with her designs, but thanks to a bride who had to cancel her wedding, she doesn’t have the money. So when a friend lets her know about the money you can get from a reality show where you get married on the spot. she decides to go for it. To her surprise on the wedding day for the show, she is match with Kit, a former boyfriend who broke her heart.
Add this to your TBR if you are a fan of the second chance trope. It’s a light hearted rom com with a little spice and some laughs along the way. Will she stick with her plan to divorce after the show wraps to get the money she needs? Or does she decide to choose a different dream to pursue?
On a side note, the audio book is great, as the two main characters pov,s are voiced by different narrators!

This concept felt so fun, and it didn’t disappoint!
Andie needs money for her business, Kit needs to show his mom he’s trying to fall in love so they both get pushed into joining a love at first sight reality show. Oh and bananas twist they have already dated and broke each other’s hearts. So many shenanigans ensue and it’s a total delight!
Big thanks for the advanced reader copy!

Let me start by saying this was such a fun read! I fell in love with the characters...I didn’t want the book to end!
If you are a fan of Married at First Sight then you will love this book.
Andi and Kit had a whirl-wind romance and sudden break up in college, but never really forgot about each other. So, think about how surprised they are when they are matched and married on a reality tv show. The show gives them 8 weeks to live together before deciding if they are going to stick it out or split up.
I LOVED this story. I loved the concept of the book. Read to find out if Kit and Andi can move on from their past and make things work out!
This book has lots of spice, second chances, and married on a reality tv show! It's a fun read! Check out my review on my bookstagram account: katie.is.booked

Such a sweet book. It reminds me of the saying that you can meet someone twice and fall in love all over again. That doesn't always happen in the real world but this story portrayed that storyline in a funny and adorable way. It was a very right person, wrong time situation. Their previous relationship didn't work out but later in life, they were able to find each other again in a very unconventional way. There were so many ups and downs that made the reader really connect with the story and the characters. I was very invested in their story from the beginning.

LOVE LOVE LOVE! This was sooooo good!! Any reality TV romance I eat up! It was like a Netflix show!
