Richard Osman's newest series will definitely appeal to his Thursday Murder Club Fans. This new book has a similar rhythm and shares the same gentle sense of humor. Amy, a young bodyguard, is as resourceful and ruthless as Elizabeth, and she teams up with murder mystery writer Rosie (hints of Joyce but far more glamorous) and her father-in-law, retired cop Steve. Three former clients of Amy's have been murdered and the team must solve the murders before Amy's next. The book is a fun romp, traveling to private islands, St. Lucia, small English villages, abd Dubai. My only complaint is we spend too much time with secondary characters. Recommend.
