My kids always enjoy vehicle-based book, and he likes tractor a lot. That's why this book is really interesting for kids who have an interest to vehicles.
These were two cute stories! Tractor Jig reminded me of Jane Yolen's dinosaur books, which are some of mine and my children's favorites. Great rhyming and illustrations. Short enough to hold a child's attention and engaging pictures to spark imagination and conversation. Ten Busy Tractors was such a great read. Highlight all the things tractors can be used for and encouraging counting backwards. The rhyming and illustrations were spot on. Such a great children's book.
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC.
This is perfect for little ones interested in cars (or other kinds of trucks, construction vehicles, etc.), farms and farm animals, humorous books, and those who are learning how to read. Repetition, rhyming, and new vocabulary are all present which is great for babies and toddlers.
Super cute illustrations and stories reminiscent of the Little Tractor and Little Blue Truck characters.
Seriously the cutest book for a tractor loving toddler. It takes the rhymes that they know and love and adapt it. My son adored it and was even singing along with “5 little tractors jumping on the bed.”
Book 1:
Great book to get kids interaction and opinions with all the questions throughout the book.
Great illustrations, bright and colorful.
Book 2 (Ten Busy Tractors):
Great illustrations.
Goes to the tune of Monkey's Jumping on the bed!
My little granddaughters loved this one and asked for it when we met. They do have some exposure to tractors but were delighted that the tractors could talk. The language was appropriate for a one and three year old and the pictures were fun. It's a winner.
If you have a little one like my son who is obsessed with cars and tractors this book is perfect for them. This book is two books in one and both stories are soon to become a family favorite. Both stories are so fun to read aloud and the second story is a tractor twist on the 5 little monkeys jumping on a bed. So imaginative and playful with tractors and other farm friends that take on their own personality and create and unforgettable story your little ones will love. We love the illustrations, they are as fun as the story. The tractors and animals really show their personalities and emotions. It is a new favorite in our home.
We received this as an ebook ARC and can’t wait to add it to our home collection.
Enjoy these adventures together.
Thank you for allowing me to read and review.
A really enjoyable read about the tractor squad, A great book for early years with some great pictures and illistartions.
This book was cute and I think would be even cuter as a physical book! I loved the farm life and all of the animals included. It was also a great bonus it was too books! My daughter and I loved reading it! Rhyming books are always fun in kids books! I think this would be a cute kids TV series!
This story is full of cute rhymes, colorful tractors and silly farm animals. The first story The Tractor Jig talks about all of the jobs that tractors do and all of the jobs that they don't do - including reading books and snuggling by fire places. The second story Ten Little Tractors is a cute rhyme about the tractors working on the farm and breaking down as they do their jobs. As tractor after tractor goes back to the shed, eventually there are no more tractors working! Thankfully, the farm animals come to their rescue and help get the tractors ready to go back to work the next day. Each story is only a few pages making it possible for both stories to be read in one sitting. However, the divide between the stories also makes it easy to pause the book and come back to it later or take a minute to talk about what was seen in the last story!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book provided by NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Let me start by saying the illustrations in this book were beautiful. My kids enjoyed all of the animals and the different tractors. The first book was cute but I didn’t love it. It seemed like it ended very quickly. The second was cuter and my kids love the “monkeys jumping on the bed” pattern it followed.
Thank you to Marble press and NetGalley for this ARC
Cute! Would probably recommend it for pre-k, maybe kindergarten. Definitely reads pretty young. I don’t think I would read this one to my second graders.
I really loved the art in this book. It was really beautifully drawn and you could follow the story well.
The rhymes were great and had a good flow, however I just didn’t understand the point of the story that much. I also found it a bit aggressive, but that might just be me.
Great for kids though!
My daughter loves tractors but wasn't super into this book, and as a parent, I didn't feel super into it. But some kids may like it. 3 stars
Absolutely adorable! My son loved it, and I loved the illustrations, they were absolutely precious. Highly recommend
Vividly illustrated with fun rhymes and quick pacing, both of the stories in this book are great. I especially loved the Ten Busy Tractors story and found myself singing along as I read!
What a sweet kids book! I have two boys, ages 4 and 3, and they loved this! Anything with tractors and a farm is a hit with them but they especially loved this book. It is great that it rhymes and flows easily while reading. The pictures are also wonderful and fun for kids to look at. My kids especially loved the tractor jig dance :) this would make a great gift as well!
Special thanks to the author, publisher and Netgalley for sharing this with me in exchange of my honest review.
This story was super cute and well written. Held my son's attention. The illustrations were great. I will be recommending this book to my friends with little ones.
I received an electronic ARC from Marble Press through NetGalley.
Younger readers will laugh at the antics of these tractors. Two rhyming stories in one book. First, we discover what tractors do in the winter. Then we follow ten tractors who run into all sorts of problems and end up one by one back in the barn. This follows the monkeys jumping on the bed style and rhyme scheme. The illustrations are brightly colored and fun to study. The tractor expressions are unique and the various animal play their roles as well.
Definitely one to read aloud over and over.
My little girl loved this engaging and fun rhyming tale about vehicles on a farm.
The illustrations were fantastic and really brought the characters to life. Each page was bursting with fun.
Will definitely be adding this one to our shelves.
