There's a Robot in My Socks is a vibrantly illustrated tale of a child dealing with anxiety from her OCD away from home. The concept of spending a night at Grandma's for the first time is relatable and the emotions shined through on the main character's face. This would be a great addition to elementary - both to the library and the counselor's office.

My family has so much fun reading this book at bedtime! My kids absolutely loved it. It was such a fun adventure and the illustrations were so well done. My kids loved the main character. Cute book!

"There's a Robot in My Socks" is a fun read aloud that children (and adults) who have a specific way of doing things will find very relatable. I read this to my son and it prompted some good conversations about how sometimes sticking to our way is important, but other times we can let it go, or try a new way! The illustrations are also fun and engaging. Overall, I'd highly recommend this book to young readers- especially ones with this specific personality!
