A carousel of a plot that was very interesting.

I selected this title because of the legal drama. Unfortunately the book failed to grab me after Chapter 1.. There are bits of nostalgia for the times that some may find interesting. However the detailed description of the grocery store business, evidently well-researched, was not my cup of tea. I may pick it up another day and feel differently about it.

I received a free copy from NetGalley. You will learn more than you ever wanted to know about what goes on behind the scenes at a grocery chain. Told by the non family member who was there for years and years, greed is now tearing a lifetime of work and a couple generations apart in court where there will be no winner no matter how it turns out.

I loved this book. I really felt I was listening to a friend telling me his life story. It was fascinating and very well written and I would thoroughly recommend it.
