This book was definitely written for those who loved the characters and wanted a little more time with them. The mystery was not really a mystery and felt a bit like a Hallmark movie. I know there are some people who would love this, but it was personally for me.

This Molly the Maid novella is so festive and sweet. There’s a secret Santa gift exchange at the Grand Regency hotel and it seems as though not everyone is as trustworthy as they ought to be. Molly has a troubling mystery to solve about her beloved Juan Manuel. It’s a really quick and delightful read.
Many thanks to Random House Publishing Group-Ballantine and NetGalley for an advanced reader’s copy of this novella in exchange for my review.

I love Molly but this book just wasn’t it for me. I appreciate the Christmas theme and love but it was a little bit of a disappointment.

This was a great little return to Molly the Maid's world complete with festive fun and a lighthearted mystery. Molly has never been happier than she is now, living with her boyfriend and co-worker, Juan Manuel. She is worried, however, that he doesn't feel the same. Juan has been acting funny and Molly fears he is about to break up with her. She is determined to solve the mystery behind all of his antics.
I loved this sweet novella. It was great to see Molly, Juan, and the gang during the holidays. The book read quickly and was a perfect afternoon to cozy up by the fire with. Highly recommend!

Another touching installment in the Molly the Maid series. Though a bit predictable, it doesn’t get more cozy than this. Thank you for allowing me to read.

I love Molly and I love Christmas, so it was a no brainer to snag this one! However, it didn’t have its usual Molly charm. I really wanted to love this one but it was beyond predictable. Molly is still such a sweet character, but her doubts about Juan Manuel were a smidge overblown, even for someone with her tendencies. I found myself questioning Molly’s actions and thought process as I was reading and it felt as if she were acting out of character. I understand why someone may begin to have feelings of doubt when presented with information that doesn’t seem to line up with what you think you know about a person, especially those closest to you, but even Molly, maybe even especially Molly, would ask the necessary questions to clarify her understanding. Will I continue reading this series? Absolutely. I still love Molly and all her friends. I think this was just a blip for me.

I have really enjoyed The Moll the Maid series.
This was a fun novella. It was fun trying to piece everything together along with Molly. I was able to figure out about half-way through what was possibly happening. It was still an enjoyable read and I can't wait for the next book.

This was a cute little novella, but not quite what you might expect from a cozy mystery series. It’s really just about Molly and Juan Manuel, so this will probably be the most interesting for readers who wanted more of them. It’s predictable , but not necessarily in a bad way. It’s actually slightly heartbreaking for a minute when Molly really gets the wrong idea about what is going on. This would be good for someone who wants a very quick light read, but I would have liked a bit more plot, or even a little mystery.
Thank you to NetGalley and Ballantine Books for providing me access to this eARC for my honest opinion.

What a delightful Christmas novella to catch up with beloved Molly the Maid. Such a fun little mystery to keep your appetite whetted until Molly's next crime solving tale arrivves!

I enjoyed this novella. Nita prose continues with Molly the maid and Juan. You get to see the next step into their life.

Cute little Christmas addition to Molly’s story. Love the characters in this series so much. Quick delightful little read

As a fan of the other books in this series, I loved being able to revisit the characters through this mini novella. However, I wished the story featured an actual mystery; although there are some suspicious happenings that require Molly's detective work, the final conclusion is fairly obvious. In a way, the story felt more like a fan fiction rather than an actual addition to the series. So, while I enjoyed it, this is a book you're better off checking out from the library for a quick read, rather than purchasing. Also, to new readers of the series: save this one for last! Or, if you want to, you can skip it altogether.

Thank you to NetGalley and the author for the opportunity to read this advance copy. I’ve really enjoyed the previous books in this series and admire Nina Prose’s writing. However, this installment didn’t quite work for me, as I found it too predictable. While I appreciate the familiar charm of the series, I was hoping for more surprises. That said, I’m sure other readers will still enjoy it, especially those who love comfort reads with a reliable formula.

Just when you thought Molly couldn't get any cozier! This was a warm, funny, and delightful read for the season. Treat yourself this holiday season to some time with your favorite maid.

I’m enjoying Anita Prose The Maid series! And when I saw a nice cozy Christmas mystery was coming I had to have it. I love Christmas mystery books and this one was a delight!

Very predictable and not in a fun way. You could see were it's going to end up from a mile away and it doesn't do a great job at building up to the "reveal"

Nita Prose's "Maid" series is a great, cozy, feel-good mystery that are a nice break from darker series. Her quirky characters and great story lines make them the perfect cozies, and "The Mistletoe Mystery" is a great addition.

I enjoy the "Maid" mysteries. This is a lighthearted Christmas novella that was an easy read.
Molly and Juan make such a sweet couple and the shadow of Gran is always in the background.
Looking forward to more from this author.

Bring the advent calendar out!
At least, this is what Molly, the maid, is doing with her boyfriend, Juan Manuel. She used to do the same with her granny. Molly’s life has come a long way. She’s happy in the present—a stark contrast to a few years ago when she lost her grandmother. She still remembers a Christmas at work when people made fun of her.
However, lately, something peculiar has been happening. Her boyfriend is acting strangely. He looks exhausted all the time, and it seems like he’s keeping secrets from her.
Does Molly have a new mystery to unravel?
For fans of the Molly the Maid series, this novella is a sweet treat. The mystery wraps up nicely, and Juan Manuel steals the show.
A cute little novella—perfect for the Christmas season!
Cliffhanger: No
