I absolutely love Nita Prose's Maid series. The characters are lovely, well there are a few nasties thrown in, but over all the hotel and staff are lively and feel like family. This was a nice short holiday feel good story.

I adore books written during the Christmas season and Molly the Maid never disappoints. I have loved all of the author’s prior books so I was very excited to read this one.
I typically like to read longer books because I don’t feel like there’s typically much substance with shorter ones. However, this author proved me wrong. This story was perfect and I got immersed in the storyline immediately. I do believe the length was ideal!
Thank you to NetGalley and the author for allowing me to read an Advanced Reader’s Copy. I truly enjoyed it!

It was nice to see Molly again, as this time instead of investigating a murder at the Regency Grand, this time it's a holiday themed short story.
Centered around Molly and her everloving boyfriend Juan Manuel, we are left wondering why Juan has been mysterious lately. While it's fairly predictable, it was nice to see the characters again.
However, did we really need this book? Perhaps it's just filler as we wait for the upcoming 2025 third Maid book to come out, but regardless, I feel like I probably wouldn't have missed this novella if I didn't actually read it.

Absolutely loved this story! It drew me in from the first page. Loved the characters and the plot and the ending.

I love the Molly the Maid series but I wouldn't really call this one a mystery. It is more of a warm, comforting Christmas season novella. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the complimentary digital arc. This review is my own opinion.

breezy and fun continuation of the Maid series. A joyful read for the holidays

This is a sweet novella featuring the same loveable Molly the maid and other characters from Nita Prose's previous novels in this series. It is a quick, heartwarming story perfect to get the reader in the Christmas spirit. If you've previously loved Molly, pick this one up!
*review on my bookstagram will run on pub date

As a fan of Molly the Maid, I couldn't wait to read this novella. Molly, Juan and the Regency Grande are getting ready for the big staff holiday party. Secret Santa gifts are returning. Molly and Juan are enjoying their life together and she loves seeing her grandfather at work. Molly thinks she has another mystery on her hands, but does she?? Our favorite, and not so favorite, characters from the other books reappear to add depth to the tale.
This uplifting holiday story will make you smile when Molly finally gets a reward for her loyalty. You can read this as a holiday stand alone, but it will mean more if you have read the other Molly books.

Molly the maid is back for Christmas time!! Prose brings us a short and sweet novella about Molly and Juan that only adds to the story of our loving couple! I absolutely adore Molly and can’t help but root for her as she navigates her relationship with Juan and the many social cues she doesn’t quite grasp. Molly is enduring and quirky as ever in this short story. I loved every minute and can’t wait for more! Thank you to the publisher, Prose, and Netgalley for advance copy of this novel!!

Thank you to NetGalley for the E-ARC of The Mistletoe Mystery. I love Molly and Juan Manuel together so much. Molly is not good at reading social cues and had me stressed through the novella! The hints throughout the book were super cute and I liked that we got to circle back to the other characters in the past books! Overall a great, quick maid novella.

Thank you to NetGalley, the Publishers, and Nita Prose for an ARC of The Mistletoe Mystery! Sometimes novellas in between series misses the mark, but this one surely does not! It was a nice filler into the next book and everything Christmas, mystery, magic you need! I recently read the second in the series and it timed up very well to enjoy this story and I cannot wait for the next one to see what happens next!
Molly the Maid is attending a Secret Santa gift exchange held at the Regency Grand Hotel and she has a huge mystery that she must figure out. It’s raising some questions she doesn’t want to have to consider — who can and can’t she trust. Her Gran always made the season so merry and bright and full of Christmas traditions. Molly can now continue those traditions with her boyfriend, Juan Manuel. He is very intent on making this year the most merry yet. But the Christmas gift exchange is putting everything in Molly’s life at question and she will figure out this personal mystery. If Molly is on the case, you know she will figure it out.

Molly the maid returns for a very quick read. It’s Christmas time and Molly is remembering a lot of things Gran did that made everything seem so special. Now that Gran is gone, Molly seems to be having some difficulty with the festive spirit but Juan Manuel has picked up the ball and carried on many of Gran’s traditions. The mystery here seems to be something going on with Juan Manuel and Molly can’t figure out what it is. She starts having doubts and wonders if she should really trust him. She sees him enter a guest room at the hotel when a pretty woman opens the door and the doubts intensify. On top of that, everyone is looking forward to the staff holiday party and the secret Santa gifts they exchange. Molly is such a lovable character, you can’t help but root for her. This was a very short book but a fun read nonetheless. I give it 4 stars.
Thank you to the publisher and to NetGalley for this digital ARC in exchange for my honest review. The book will be published October 1, 2024.

I always love the character Molly the maid. She is quirky and funny and keeps things interesting. Another great short great read that had me wondering the whole time if Juan was cheating on her! I can't wait for the book #3 to come out !

Poor Molly. Suddenly, she is insecure and sleepy in this third book. And, saddest of all, this story lacks the plot twists that come with Molly's unique ability to notice things that others fail to see. In fact, the big excitement is completely predictable in this simple novella and it is downright irritating, in addition to being out of character, for Molly to be the only one who doesn't see what's coming.

If Molly the Maid is involved, a true adventure is sure to unfold. In “The Mistletoe Mystery”, we have an adventure of a different kind. ‘Tis the season of merriment, gift giving, friends and family, so why is Molly feeling so blue? Things don’t seem right in her tidy little world. Her beloved Juan Manuel is up to no good and she misses her granny, but the effervescent, ever-responsible Molly carries on and finds many surprises are in store for her.
This little gem of a book will bring you the warm fuzzies and you’ll be smiling from ear to ear when it’s over. I will never tire of Molly the Maid and her cohorts and will await the next book with bated breath. Thank you, NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine for the advanced reader copy.

A short novel, about half size, to celebrate Molly's Christmas. She doesn't feel a lot like celebrating. Her Gran used to make Christmas so special for the two of them, and now that Gran is gone, it's just not what it used to be. However, she has Juan, who now is her live-in fella. He's acting in a rather suspicious manner lately and she just knows he's up to no good. As usual, Molly has a saying from her Gran for every occasion. And she does get a lot of support from Mr. Preston and Angela at the hotel. Cheryl, on the other hand, is still Cheryl, sloughing off every chance she can find.

Thank you to Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine and NetGalley for the ARC of this book.
I loved visiting Molly's world again. This was a short and sweet novella that sets the scene for a very important time in Molly's life. Molly is her same quirky self and we get to know Juan Manuel a little bit better as well. As always there's a little mystery that Molly is on a mission to figure out. And the usual cast of Regency Grand characters make an appearance. If you love Molly's world, definitely pick this one up!

I was thrilled to see my approval for an ARC of The Mistletoe Mystery and this short novella is quite heartwarming! Molly the head maid is back, and story #2.5 gives us a glimpse into her relationship with Juan Manuel and the mystery she must solve when he starts acting strangely. I admit this book made me both smile and tear up with the ending, having lost my grandmother just last year. I loved this one, especially when Molly recognizes what Gran always knew in the final chapter. There is also nothing like reading a Christmas time story, even in August! Thanks to NetGalley and Random House Publishing-Ballantine for an ARC in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own. Rating: 5 stars Publication Date: October 1, 2024

This was SO FUN! I love Molly & this series so I was excited whenever I got approved for the ARC. It was a bit predictable, but honestly worth it with how short it was. Plus it was a cozy little Christmas time mystery.

I’m a big fan of the Molly series. This is such a cute feel good novella. Fans of Molly the Maid will love this cute short story! It’s perfect for the holiday season! It’s currently 100 degrees outside. So, it was nice to dive into this cozy holiday story & pretend that’s cold outside. This novella will release October 2024.
