Big thanks to NetGalley for the ARC of The Mistletoe Mystery! Nita Prose has done it again—this short novel is the perfect cozy holiday read. The mix of humor, charm, and a sprinkle of mystery made it impossible to put down. The small-town setting is so vivid you can practically feel the snow crunching underfoot and smell the mulled cider. The characters are quirky and lovable, and the mystery had just the right amount of twists to keep me hooked. It’s festive, fun, and heartwarming. If you’re looking for a holiday read to cozy up with, this is the one!

This short novella was just what I needed at the holidays! I went into the book expecting another "Molly Mystery" but instead was treated to a "Molly Romance. This book was so cute and gave me all of the Christmas vibes. It was the perfect December read for lovers of Nita Prose and Molly the Maid. I absolutely cannot wait to read Molly's newest adventure " The Maid's Secret" coming out in April. Huge thank you to NetGalley and Ballantine books for the advance reader copy.

This was such a short and sweet novella for Molly. I enjoyed that it didn't try to add too much mystery into such a short book, but instead develop the relationship between Juan and Molly. This made me even more excited for the next book in the series!

This was a very cute and sweet novella. Perfect for Christmas and fans of Molly the Maid. There wasn’t much of a mystery but more just a Christmas Hallmark-like story line. It was cute to see Molly and Juan and their relationship develop.

Wholesome and full of Christmas cheer. This is a novella in the Molly Gray series and while it's not strictly necessary to have read the previous books you'll enjoy it more if you have. It's a very lighthearted sweet read - no murder here, and really no mystery. At times it skews toward treacle but it is a Christmas novella.

Such a cozy winter christmas read!! There was not a huge mystery story involved, but just a light fun festive read for the holidays! Big fan of Molly The Maid and all the other fun characters.

I absolutely loved it. Mystery in the most wholesome way, and the Christmas theme was so festive! Nothing but positive feelings after reading it.

Oh Molly Gray- the best maid the regency has ever employed. Back at it again with some holiday shinanagans.
This story was short and sweet but you definitely have to have read the past two maid novels to really understand the corky and literal
personality of Missy Molly.
Still in a relationship with her love Juan Manual, celebrating Christmas at the hotel when things just aren’t adding up. Juan is acting strange and Molly doesn’t know how to make sense of it.
A simple cozy mystery that makes your heart feel good, warm and festive. I love the Maid series♥️
⭐️⭐️⭐️

I rarely read novellas but since I read the first two in the Molly the Maid series, it was a foregone conclusion that I would read any others that came along.
If you are looking for a true mystery, then look elsewhere. There is no murder here. This is really more of a light and sweet book about Molly who is a socially awkward maid who recently lost her mother but found love with Juan, who works at the same hotel, as a chef. The mystery here is about whether her boyfriend is someone Molly can trust and whether he is the right man for her. Given that this is a Christmas book, the reader should be able to guess how this will come out. While this is not a whodunit, I do think we learn more about Molly which will be useful in the rest of the series. I would also tell the reader to read them in order because, especially since this is a novella and is shorter, I think it is better as something to prepare us for the next installment.
Thanks to Random House-Ballantine and NetGalley for providing me with this novel in exchange for my honest opinion.

This is short and extremely sweet. Molly the maid is back just in time for Christmas. I enjoyed once again being a part of Molly’s day-to-day life and experiencing it from her perspective. Molly is literal, meticulous with a genuine heart. This story stirs up all the emotions and sweetly exemplifies the essence of Christmas. Thank you, NetGalley and Ballantine Books for my copy.

Yesterday’s the past, tomorrow’s the future, but today is the gift."
“Molly, you clean from dusk to dawn. The least I can do is make our meals. Don’t you know what they say about happiness? La felicidad, así como el amor, entra por la cocina.”
“Which means?”I asked.
“Happiness, like love, enters through the Kitchen."
"As we decorate, it occurs to me that a Christmas tree holds so much more than ornaments. Resting on all those boughs is a treasure trove of memories that remain long after the tree is gone and Christmas itself is over for another year."
"The suspension of disbelief. Dictionary definition: to believe something is true even though it seems impossible."
Our Favorite Quirky Maid Molly is back in this reflective Holiday Novella. We get the same over thinking but meticulous women and Juan Miguel as they are celebrating their holiday with each other and hotel staff.
Lots of reflection, love, thankfulness and it wouldn't be a maid book without a little miscommunication.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC. Molly is back and it's the holidays, what more could you want?! I loved this novel!

The perfect little novella to start off the holidays with some of my most favorite characters (as long as you've read the first two). Even though I waited to read this for the timing, thanks to Randomhouse Publishing-Ballantine books & NetGalley for the ARC of one of my most beloved series 😊

While I enjoyed this continuation of Molly's story, this novella kind of fell flat for me. I also feel the title was a bit of a misnomer. There wasn't any real mystery to this book as it was pretty obvious what was going to happen at the end. There was technically a mystery for Molly to solve, but there wasn't one for the readers to solve. I appreciated the heartwarming Christmas elements to the story, but I just feel like it needed more depth. Overall, it wasn't a bad story, and I'm still looking forward to reading any upcoming books in the series!

This Molly the Maid novella was a perfect quick and cozy holiday read. Even though it was a little predictable, you can't help but be transported into Molly's world and follow along with her days and inner thoughts to see what will happen next. Another great read from Nita Prose! Thank you, NetGalley for the ARC!

I rarely give a novella more than 3 stars but this was just the cutest mystery/ romance I have read. I love Molly and Juan together and this little adventure made me weep at the end of it. Highly reccomend if you have been reading this mystery series and want to learn a little more about Juan and Molly's relationship.

Molly the maid will never disappoint! This is a great Christmasy addition to the series. The characters you know and love are back with even more heart and shenanigans.

I can’t get enough of Molly the Maid. She comes back more witty than ever and I am here for it! The mystery was good and I wish it had been longer. I absolutely love Molly and can’t wait to solve more along her. Thank you for the ARC @netgally

In the latest installment of Nita Prose's series, The Mistletoe Mystery, Molly the maid—who usually has an uncanny knack for solving the most perplexing puzzles—finds herself befuddled by a particularly challenging case. This time, her usual razor-sharp instincts seem to have gone astray, leading her to a maze of missteps and muddled clues.
While the charm of Molly's innocent and curious nature continues to shine through, the series is beginning to feel a bit redundant. Her interactions with Juan, although endearing, are starting to lose their novelty.
One thing to note for potential readers: to fully grasp the nuances of the characters and their relationships, it's essential to have read the previous books in the series.
While it seems to be set in the present day, there's an old-fashioned charm that permeates the narrative. The exact year and city remain a mystery, but perhaps that's part of the allure—leaving room for the reader's imagination.
The next book in the series, A Maid’s Secret, is slated for release this spring.

I enjoyed this novella. It is a cute story in Molly the Maid fashion. Quick, light, and a spin on an old Christmas classic!
Thanks to the publishers for an ARC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
