This well thought out and intriguing story is a slight twist from the typical paranormal romance. The story takes a slight twist by using delayed gratification, since the The 2 main characters do not become a couple until the end. Since this is a series you are better served to have read both books 1 & 2 (Raphael and Jabril) Prior to reading this one. However, it isn't necessary, the story does stand up on it's own.
