Get Lost With You is the second book in the Rock Bottom Love series. It follows Beckett's sister Jillian and Levi, their old family friend who's recently moved back to Smile. Jilly is an absolute powerhouse and a single mother. Levi is a sweetheart chef with some unresolved family drama. It really does give off hallmark vibes. Actually, I’ll say it gives off Gilmore Girl vibes. The town is perfect. The family elements are strong. The other characters living in town are the eclectic ensemble worthy of Stars Hollow. The romance is sweet. It just makes you feel good. And I really wish Smile was a real place because it sounds like the perfect place to vacation.

Jillian had returned to Smile to rebuild her life following her divorce. She had established herself as an important member of the community and a worthy business partner at the Get Lost Lodge. Everything was going according to her very well thought out plan until Levi returned to town reawakening old feelings. Now she must decide if she will follow her head or her heart.

It was great to return to Smile and the world of the Kellers. This time, the focus was on Jillian. She was a single mom who had been betrayed by her ex-husband. She was not ready to face Levi and her past feelings for him.

Levi returned home following many grueling years establishing himself in the culinary world. He enjoyed that success but was looking to find a position that allowed him to create amazing food and have work-life balance, and he wanted to do it in Smile. He also came home to help his father as he recuperated from surgery. It was his opportunity to try and mend the rift between them and reestablish his relationship with his father.

Levi also seemed excited to reestablish something with Jilly. She was his best friend's little sister and therefore off limits, but now they are older, and Levi still found that spark between them when they were reunited. I love second chances and although they never had their full romance back in their teens, this was their chance to finally act on their feelings.

Levi was such a wonderful love interest for Jilly. Her husband was toxic and cruel. Levi adored every part of he, just the way she was. He also adored that little spit-fire of a kid of hers, Ollie. There were some super sweet moments between Ollie and Levi that melted my heart, and even more moments between him and Jilly that showed what an incredible partner he would be.

I know I am in the minority, but I like my books low drama/angst, so Sullivan's books work well for me. She grabbed me with the setting, characters, and warm-fuzzy family focus. I adore the community of the Get Lost Lodge and all the outdoor fun that took place. I was not a fan of the third act breakup but it led to a great makeup. So, it was easy to forgive.

Overall, this was another fun and sweet romance. I am eager to return to Smile to see who Sullivan pairs with the eldest brother.

3.5 stars! I do love a good childhood crush romance! This was a sweet story and I loved how these two were given a second chance to act on their feelings. Again, my recents reads seem to be teeming with men who are “all-in” from the beginning and I am not sad about it. A man that can cook and is good with kids is always a green flag for me!

This had terrific small town vibes and Jilly’s daughter, Ollie steals the show. This is such a feel-good romance. If you are looking for a story with almost no angst, this is perfect.

I didn’t read the first book in this series, but I feel like I was lost at any point. There was plenty of back story given.

Childhood friends to lovers romance. Jillian is a divorced mom with a precocious daughter Ollie. After her failed marriage she returned to her hometown of Smile and has lived with her parents. She does accounting work and helps with their family lodge as well. Levi Bright returns to Smile to reconnect with his parents. He took off to follow a culinary career and did not go into his dad’s construction business. Levi was Jillian’s teen crush. They were only two years apart age wise but he was and is her brother’s best friend. When her brother offers him to work in the kitchen at the Lodge it means they’ll get to spend more time together.

This is a sweet and predictable small town romance. I read this easily as a stand alone but it is the second in the Rock Bottom Love series. The romances focus on Jillian and her brothers. I think I wanted something more to sink my teeth into. This was cheesy and angst free but I’m not going to remember it. I did feel happy for the characters at the ending.

I was in the mood for a feel-good, small town, sweet romance, and that's exactly what I got from Get Lost With You!

Jilly and Levi's story was laced with humor and charm and had low conflict and angst. I love the second chance, childhood friends to lovers tropes, and Sullivan crafted a connection between these two characters that I could believe in and root for.

All in all, this was a satisfyingly cute read. Though it's book #2 in the Rock Bottom Love series, it can be read as a complete standalone.

💕 A cozy, small-town second-chance romance that feels like a warm hug.

Sophie Sullivan delivers another swoon-worthy read with Get Lost with You, a story full of heart, family, and the kind of romance that builds slowly and beautifully. If you love second chances, single-mom heroines, and cinnamon-roll heroes who can cook, you’re in for a treat.

Jillian Keller has worked hard to create a stable life for herself and her daughter, Ollie, running Get Lost Lodge with her brother in the charming town of Smile. The last thing she needs is disruption—especially not in the form of Levi Bright, the boy who once held her heart and is now very much back in town. With Levi hired as the lodge’s new chef, their paths are constantly crossing, and old feelings quickly resurface. But Jilly’s been burned before, and letting Levi in means risking her heart—and her daughter’s.

This book is pure comfort. The town of Smile is so vivid it feels like home, the side characters add warmth and humor, and the romance? Perfectly paced. Jilly and Levi’s chemistry is undeniable, but what really shines is how they build trust—through shared moments, laughter, and Levi’s gentle persistence (swoon). It’s sweet with just a touch of heat, exactly what you want from a feel-good second-chance love story.

If you’re a fan of Emily Henry or Abby Jimenez, you’ll adore Get Lost with You. It’s the kind of book that leaves you smiling long after the last page.

I really wanted to love this one, but I don’t think that her books are for me. This was my second one, and I just can’t connect to the characters. I don’t love the dual 3rd person point of view. I want dual first person point of view instead. And I also am not a fan of how insta-lovey her romantic relationships are. Levi and Jillian go on one date and he asks to be her boyfriend. I need more buildup, chemistry, and tension. It was fine, but I didn’t love it, and I wasn’t interested in the story.

“Get Lost With You” by Sophie Sullivan is a charming second-chance romance featuring Jillian Keller, a single mother who’s been burned by love before, and Levi Bright, her childhood crush. The story is set in the small town of Smile, which is aptly named for its sweet, feel-good vibe. The plot centers around Jillian's journey to trust again after a painful betrayal by her ex-husband, and her reconnection with Levi as they explore their long-buried feelings for each other.
At its heart, this is a light and sweet romance with just a touch of spice. Jillian’s backstory is heavy-ish, having been betrayed by her ex who not only lied to her but also stole from her and their mutual friends. Five years later, she’s understandably cautious about love. However, when her childhood crush, Levi, comes back into her life, they quickly fall for each other, rekindling feelings from their past. They decide to give romance a real shot, but, as expected in many romance stories, the (unnecessary) third-act breakup tests their relationship, particularly when Jillian’s trust issues come to the forefront.
While the story offers a nice escape, there are a few aspects that left me wanting more:
1. Instant Connection Without Depth: Jillian and Levi share an instant connection, which feels a bit too convenient. Both have had feelings for each other since they were younger, but I didn’t feel like the relationship had enough development beyond the initial spark. Their chemistry was palpable, but there wasn’t enough emotional depth to make their connection feel truly earned or special.
2. Missed Opportunities for Character Development: Both Jillian and Levi have personal challenges—Jillian with trust issues and Levi with his strained relationship with his father—but the book doesn’t delve deeply enough into these struggles. It felt like the author skimmed the surface of these important issues, which left me wanting more insight into the characters’ growth.
3. Quick Resolutions: When conflicts do arise, the resolutions feel too quick and overly idealistic. Their heartfelt conversations are sweet but lack the real struggle that could make their resolutions feel more earned. These easy fixes detracted from the emotional stakes of their journey, especially when it came to the third-act breakup, which felt unnecessary.
4. Lack of Character Empathy: I found it difficult to build a strong sense of empathy for the characters because their issues, though important, wasn’t fully explored. Without the necessary emotional depth and conflict, it was hard to truly invest in their relationship, which ultimately made their happy ending feel a little too easy.
Overall, while Get Lost With You is a pleasant read, it's more of a light, sweet romance without the emotional weight and character development that I personally enjoy in a story. The romance is enjoyable for those who prefer a quick, feel-good read, but if you're looking for more substantial growth and deeper exploration of the characters’ challenges, this one might leave you feeling a bit unsatisfied.

This book starts out annoyingly slowly and cerebrallly. Levi and Jilly keep brooding on their feelings for each other while not acting on them. When they finally get together, they are over-the-top cute which may be equally annoying for some people while others who can't get enough romance no matter how over the top may swoon over it.

Then, of course, the inevitable third-act conflict happens. Although it is refreshing that it is not over a misunderstanding as too often happens in these types of books, it is still just as exasperating. It may even be more so because it's really over nothing except Jilly getting in her own head and worrying too much about things she can't control.

This was a sweet romance book. I didn't know it was the second book in the series, but it was fine as a standalone. There were a couple of instances early in the book where it referenced things that hadn't happened yet (how Levi loved her stomach, had kissed her stomach, even though they hadn't even kissed yet).

This is the first book that I’ve read by this author and it definitely won’t be my last! It was so sweet and a great palette cleanser and perfect if you are looking for a low angst romance. I found Jillian to be relatable and I could see where she was coming from when she was doubting herself and Levi. Levi was a complete teddy bear for Jilly and her daughter. Overall this was enjoyable but if you are looking for angst (which I always am) then this is it! This one will leave you with all the warm and fuzzy feelings though!

Light hearted romance and a heck of food in this quick wit book about going home and finding your first love. The heart wants what it wants and in this book, it seems it does get its way.
Love mends bridges once burned and new business adventures start.

3.5 stars. This book hard quite a few moments that kind of dragged for me. This is a second chance trope and a best friends little sister trope. It is the story of Jillian and Levi. He returns to town to help his parents and discovers that the teenager he always had a thing for is a single parent, available and interested. They end up working on several projects together, and things heat up.

Jillian and Levi were good together, and her daughter, Ollie, was very cute (especially with Levi). I really can't put my finger on exactly why the story didn't really work, other than parts dragging a bit.

Thanks to St. Martin's Press and NetGalley for the digital copy. All thoughts are my own.

Talk about a sugary, sweet romance! This one is jam-packed with all of the adorable, swoon worthy vibes gifted by our talented mmc, Levi Bright.
Single mother, Jillian Keller has settled back at home and is rebuilding her life after escaping a dishonest and lackluster marriage. With her walls up and boundaries in place to protect the wellbeing of her child, Ollie, Jillian is primed to create a stable, wonderful life. Enter the childhood crush that Jillian never got over and an ex that won’t go away. Jillian must decide what her heart wants and what’s best for her child.
This was a quick read, dripping in sweetness! Thank you NetGalley, St. Martin's Publishing, and Sophie Sullivan for the arc of this book! I really enjoyed the Hallmark vibes!

This was such a heartwarming and cozy book. Levi’s and Jillian relationship was sweet.
Ollie was very adorable!!

I did feel like I needed more drama but overall this was cute second chance romance.

This was a sweet, second chance small town, dual POV love story between Jillian, a divorced single mother and her brother's best friend, Levi, who's recently returned home after being away for years working as a chef in the city. The second book in the Rock Bottom love series, this could be read as a standalone but has cameos from past characters. It was good on audio and had the perfect balance of family drama, sweet moments, humor and fade to black romance. Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an early digital copy in exchange for my honest review!

Tropes:
⛴️ Second chance romance
🏕️ Friends to lovers
⛴️ Small town
🏕️ Dual POV
⛴️ Single mom
🏕️ Brother’s friend
⛴️ He falls first

This is the second story in the Rock Bottom Series. It follows Jillian and Levi. Levi was friends with Jillian’s brothers in high school. She had a mild crush on him and he had a mild crush on her as well, but neither were aware. After high school, Levi moved away to chase his dreams of becoming a big time chef. Fast forward 15 years and Levi returns to Smile, Michigan where Jilly (Jillian) still lives with her daughter. They run into each other one day and the feelings that they had for each other in high school instantaneously ignites. Will they survive Jilly’s caution with moving to fast?

First off, I enjoyed Jilly and Levi’s story more than Presley and Beckett’s. There was more humor and like-ability of the characters. I respect Jilly wanting to take things slow with Levi especially as a single mom and not wanting to get her daughter attached. I also liked how devoted Levi was to Jilly and making it work. He was patient, present, and caring. He let her know the entire story that he wasn’t going anywhere.

However, there were a few things that lacked for me. The lack of communication between the characters was an issue. I struggle with that in books because, to me, it is unnecessary. There was also a lot of the story that I just skimmed through because it was uneventful and didn’t provide any support to the overall storyline. The characters did not have much development throughout the story either.

Overall, if you are looking for an easy closed-door romance that would be a good palate cleanser between heavy books, this is the one.

I suppose this book could be read as a standalone, but I don’t recommend it. It’s so much better already knowing about the Keller family and the sweet, quirky town that surrounds them. I adored Jillian and Ollie. I had completely fallen in love with them in the first book, and absolutely adored seeing them find the right Forever this time. This story is a bit of a second chance romance, but not in the classic sense of the theme. This was a second chance with the one you never got a chance with the first time around. Levi was pure hero candy. He wasn’t perfect, but he was the missing piece in Jillian and Ollie’s family. I loved watching Levi and Jilly rediscover their feelings from so long ago, and also seeing them grow and reconcile with their pasts. Now that another Keller sibling has fallen, I can’t wait to see what the author has in store for the last one.

Get Lost With You by Sophie Sullivan is the second book in the Rock Bottom Love series. It was great to return to the small town of Smile and the Get Lost Lodge and reconnect with the characters we’ve previously met.

Jillian and Levi are the stars of this second-chance romance. Will the second time around be the charm?

Jillian is a single mother to her daughter, Ollie. Levi is a chef who left at seventeen to attend culinary school in New Hampshire. From there, he worked in restaurants in Vermont, but now he’s decided it’s time to return home to Smile.

Levi and Jill reconnect, and he gets along well with her daughter Ollie, as a friend and father figure. The power of family and friends is a strong theme, and I love how they rely on each other. They also have meaningful conversations and can get mad but reunite and reconcile. There are wonderful descriptions of the lodge, the food, the grounds, and the town.

The story has a good flow, and all the stories and characters are interconnected wonderfully. When Jillian’s ex contacts her out of the blue, Jill stays strong, even if her world gets rocked in more ways than one. But with her friends and family by her side, she manages to figure out what she wants out of her life, and it’s not him and what he offers!

I love the way Jillian and Levi are able to talk and manage to get back on the same page. There’s romance, love, and a strength to the characters. There are layers to the story and characters, and the ending was sweeter than I expected. There’s a happily ever after nicely portrayed in the epilogue.

I look forward to reading more books in the series because Jillian’s older brother, Grayson, needs his story told. Ms. Sullivan is an author whose books I enjoy, and I look forward to reading more of them—not only those in this series.

Get Lost With You is a sweet contemporary romance with friends, family, romance, love, and a powerful work ethic shared by all.

I rated the book 4.5 stars but rounded to 5 stars here and on other sites.
