I do love a second chance romance, and I enjoyed the first book in the Rock Bottom Love series.

This one I did not like as much, unfortunately. I still liked it, but didn't love it.

Levi and Jillian came across as teenagers sneaking around a lot of the time, rather than the 30-somethings they are.

And Levi's family, well, they need to grow the eff up, remove heads from sphincters and love their kiddos as they are.

I do love the town of Smile, and most of the residents. It was good to get back to see what was happening with the characters we had already met.

Jillian's daughter was the real highlight of the book, and her ex the real lowlife lowlight of it all..

I will read more of the series in the future, it is just that this one was not my favourite.

3.5 Stars

Things I loved:
- Single Mom
- Small town
- Outdoorsy
- Single mom of the cutest girl
- Possibly the best romance cover I have seen in years
- PETE!!!!

Things I didn't love
- The ex husband story felt forced and incomplete
- Levi fell way too hard ....didn't even take into account the real impact of being with someone with a kid or what that meant for his life long friendships
- Levi largely felt written by a woman and wasn't a super believable male character IMO
- Too easy, any conflict felt incomplete / glossed over / forced

Overall I thought the author's writing was solid, this just didn't feel like an absolutely complete romance that would leave me weak at the knees and completely connected with the characters. Having said that, I would absolutely read more of this author because the writing style I really did like.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review!

This is a fun, entertaining, good read. Levi and Jillian are interesting, complex, wounded, strong, intriguing, relatable, entertaining characters. I enjoyed their romance and the path it took to get to their HEA. These two are fun to spend time with. The secondary characters – family, Ollie especially – added to the fabric of the story and my enjoyment. This book and the series are made up of some interesting characters that add that special something. The story is easy to read and get into.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Get Lost with You by Sophie Sullivan is the coziest romance that will leave you soft and warm inside.

Sometimes you just need a low angst, cute romance where you can just read without tension. It's a small town romance with a single mom and professional chef and I love that dynamic. Theres something so romantic and I love how they find each other become their own found family. One thing I love how theres history, build up and chemistry between them. It was so sweet and cozy and adorable seeing them fall for each other and make it work. One thing I love the "right person, right time" trope that will be when it's meant to be. Its such a sweet read that will have you swooning and its a must read!

Get Lost with You by Sophie Sullivan has everything a good rom-com needs, small town romance, single mom, second chance love, AND brother's best friend? It's a perfect comfort read, and would make a great Hallmark movie!
Thanks to NetGalley and St Martin's Press for my review copy of this fun book!

This book was adorable and fun. Set in a small town where two old friends reunite. Maybe a second chance at love?

This was ok, while I love a good second chance romance this was underwhelming and a little boring. This is not one that will stick with me in any way.

In the second book of this loosely connected series, Levi returns home to be with his family and hopes to reconnect with Jillian, his best friend’s sister. Jillian is now a divorced single mom but had feelings for Levi in high school that she always thought were unrequited. As it turns out, Levi has always had feelings for her, too. Despite their different circumstances and paths, will they be able to reconnect and make something last now?

I have enjoyed several of this author’s books in the past, but this one wasn’t one of my favorites. It’s very lighthearted and sweet, with closed door romance, so if that is what you are in the mood for, it may be perfect for you! However, I found the romantic tension to be lacking and the chemistry to be nonexistent, making me want to skim to finish the book. There wasn’t really anything making this stand out from the crowd or making it a memorable read, and I didn’t enjoy the third person perspective for narrating because it made it hard to relate to the characters. However, readers that enjoy a small town romance with the second chance trope might enjoy this book.

Thank you to Sophie Sullivan and St. Martin’s Press Romance for the arc and opportunity to be an early reader and reviewer.

E-ARC! Really cute romance. Loved the small-town vibes again with this setting. Plus fun characters. New fav author.

2.5 rounded up.
I was bored.
The passive third person POV writing style drove me nuts and the FMC wasn’t a believable portrayal of the struggles a single parent faces.
A closed door romance where literally nothing happens.

I really enjoyed this one! I love that we get a small cameo. From book one. This was a perfect read for this time where I don’t want added stress it’s a very calming read not much angst.

I think this would be a great audiobook for when you’re doing chores… I wish I had listened to it.

"Get Lost with You" by Sophie Sullivan is a delightful romance that wraps you in warmth and charm. The story follows Levi and Jillian, childhood friends who reconnect in their small hometown after years apart. Levi, the best friend of Jillian's brother, returns to start fresh, and sparks fly as they navigate their feelings for each other. The chemistry between them is palpable, and their journey from old crushes to something deeper is both sweet and satisfying. I loved the small-town setting and the strong sense of family and community that added depth to the story. Even though it's the second book in the Rock Bottom Love series, it stands perfectly on its own. Sullivan's engaging writing style makes this a quick, enjoyable read, and I'm definitely looking forward to exploring more of her work. If you're a fan of second-chance romances with a touch of humor and heart, this one's for you! Thanks to SMP for the ARC.

A sweet, feel-good romance that’s as cozy as a weekend getaway! With classic tropes like opposites attract, forced proximity, and a small-town setting, Sophie Sullivan delivers a heartwarming story full of charm and chemistry.

The characters are endearing, and their journey from hesitant strangers to something more feels genuine and satisfying. While the pacing slowed at times, the emotional connection and tender moments kept me hooked.

If you love small-town romances with relatable characters and just the right amount of swoon, Get Lost with You is the perfect escape.

I love a good second-chance/brother's best friend romance and Sophie Sullivan delivers a delightful one. Get Lost with You is a cute, funny, swoony story you will fall in love with. I love the characters, the setting, and the entire storyline. While this story is the second in the Rock Bottom Love series, it can be read as a complete standalone. I did not read book #1 and had no issues jumping right into this story. But you can bet I will be going back to read it!

I really enjoyed Levi and Jillian's story. Levi is Jilly's brother's best friend. He returns to his hometown after being gone for ten years to start his life anew. Levi and Jilly both had mad crushes on one another when they were growing up, unbeknownst to one another. When Levi comes home, sparks immediately start flying. I really enjoyed the connection and chemistry that Levi and Jilly have. You could feel their feelings leaping off of the page. Jilly is more cautious about dating because of her 9 year old daughter, Ollie. Will Jilly be move forward and risk her heart? Things aren't completely smooth sailing but these two do find their happily ever after in a beautiful way.

Sophie Sullivan is quickly becoming an author that really I enjoy reading. Her writing is always on point and her stories are engaging and relatable. I'm looking forward to what's next from this new author. I have certainly become a fan! 4 stars

As Jillian build a new life with her family, her teenage crush Levi returns to town and sparks all the same feelings she remembers. Levi's ready to settle back home and hopes Jillian will will be a part of the life he wants in Smile. Surrounded by a cast of characters, will these two reconnect in a meaningful way.

Although this was certainly a cute rom-com, I did feel like it was missing that mid-plot conflict so common of the genre. Very low stakes here for the reader.

Big, sappy, lovey-dovey feelings here, and it’s awesome. Sullivan writes in such an engaging way, that even her longer books feel like quick reads. In addition to the we-crushed-on-each-other-as-kids second chance kind of love, this book really focuses on familial love. Jillian and Levi would be nothing without the huge love and support from their family and friends, and it’s really beautiful. Thanks to SMP for the ARC.

Get Lost with You is a sweet, standard version of a second chance (ish) romance. I felt a bit distracted while reading this one, but I enjoyed Jillian and Levi and seeing their story unfold.

This is a sweet book about a second chance romance between a single mom and a chef.

This was my first book by this author and I really fell for her writing and the characters. This is the second in a series but I did not read the first, I didn’t feel lost or like I wasn’t able to understand.

I enjoyed the characters and seeing them fall in love again. I plan on reading the first book!

Get Lost with You is a sweet small-town romance that really hit the spot. I loved how the drama didn't come from the couple themselves, letting their relationship develop naturally. Jillian and Levi had childhood crushes on each other, and now they get the chance to explore those feelings. Jillian is cautious because of a bad past relationship, and her journey is all about healing. Levi is back in town, trying to fix things with his dad. It’s great to see them go through their journeys together, opening up and spending time with each other. If you enjoy gentle romances that make you feel good, this one's for you. Highly recommended!

Solid Small Town Romance With A Touch Of Spice. For those looking for Carolina Reaper level spice... this ain't that. Yet it also isn't a warm glass of milk. I'd say it hits around a habanero or so - spicy enough to zing the taste buds a bit, but also mild enough to excite those who generally prefer a warm glass of milk without giving them "the vapors". ;)

On the actual romance side, well, there's as much family drama going on here as romance, so your mileage will absolutely vary on that side. There's a lot of drama to work through, though both halves of our couple wanted each other all those years ago... and that never really went away, despite our female lead marrying and having a kid with another dude in the meantime (one source of so much family drama).

Fans of small town insta love/ second chance Hallmarkie type romances will generally enjoy this one. Those looking for more spice or more glitz or more glamour or more action or some such... likely not as much.

Overall I thought this worked quite well for what it is, and I was quite happy with it as such.

Very much recommended.
