This has been so much fun so far! I like the welcome packet, but I really love all the interact stuff that's been going on on instagram. I have group chats that are sending some of the story templates back and forth and bonding over our answers! The BINGO board is also encouraging me to do things that I should be doing - like updating my profile regularly. Thanks so much for creating it!

Ive just started the BINGO but peaking at all the fun inside, this is going to being an amazing summer reading challenge!

This is such a cool and fun idea. I love that it gets the NetGalley community together to interact in this virtual Camp. I particularly love the Bingo board because it gets me to think about my ARC requests (ex. BIPOC author, LGBTQ+ main character, a Read Now book). The stickers are also fun. The Talent Show is a great idea, too, because it makes me want to show off a review that I've made and, hopefully, also makes us all feel proud of the work that we do reviewing these books. I also love that we get a badge to add to our gallery. I loved collecting badges in Boy Scouts as a kid, so this feels nostalgic.

I love things like this, where there are activities to help us along in our reading/reviewing journeys and to make us feel more confident about our writing of those reviews. It's general gamification that is simply just fun (and free!).

This welcome pack includes a introduction telling the user just what Camp NetGalley is and how to attend/participate, how to earn the exclusive event badge for your NetGalley profile, a checklist to keep track of your participation tasks, a cute little packing list for "camp", a schedule of the weekly activities throughout July, social media and support links, a totally printable merit badge banner with merit badge stickers you can affix to it, the Camp NetGalley bingo card to play, and everything you need to know about the Talent Show. It's one of the most detailed welcome packets I have ever seen and within the PDF you can click all the links that have been made so handily available.

I hope NetGalley continues to do this annually and maybe introduce a winter one. You best believe I'm going to be printing off everything to play and stick that right in my journal for the memories!

This looks fun, but I am not planning on participating right now. I think the different activities give people the opportunity to explore books that they may not normally read, but I don't love the fact that part of the camp involves social media engagement which has increasingly not been my thing and required a lot of management to delete comments by spambots.

This is my first Camp NetGalley and I am super excited! I always loved reading bingos and I am excited to participate this year. I imagine we will learn more every week and I am glad there is an activity/something to look forward to each week!

It would be cool to win some physical NetGalley gear if completing the Bingo and more rules upfront to know what to expect with the reminders along the way. I would love to get NetGalley branded swag in the mail etc.

I think I had trouble downloading stickers/being rerouted but it is very important that everyone follows NetGalley on instagram & check out their highlights!! Tons of fun goodies and additional info over there 🫶🏾☺️

This looks like a very fun challenge. I love the stickers and all of the visuals that go with it. There is one downside for me, though, I'm not a digitally savvy and am not really picking up on how to do the activities. Therefore, I'm more than likely not going to really participate. That being said, for those who are digitally savvy, you are sure to fully enjoy all of the camp activities, and I'm still giving this 5 stars.

I love just how much this shakes things up on NetGalley! As much as everyone here is quite cozy with our routine of requesting books, receiving books, then reading and reviewing those books, I'm genuinely feeling a real fresh burst of excitement over all the activities and the extra interactive opportunities coming later in the month.

I love everything about this! I love that it encourages more interaction on the NetGalley sight and Social Media. I started using my Instragram account again and love finding new ways to share and new books to discover!

A fun, unexpected challenge for 2024. I like the bingo aspect, but sometimes this could be easy for me not to follow through with. Here's to trying my best this time around!

A fun way to participate in netgalley, nice to spice things up and do something a little differently than usual. Though I am confused about the bingo board at least at the moment. How to fill it out and is it necessary or optional. So........ I dropped my review down to 4 stars for that reason

This is so cute! This is such a fun way for folks to participate in summer reading. I'm using it as a fun and creative way to keep up with my blog and bookstagram account. I haven't really kept up with either consistently.
