Fun way to get everyone involved for summer reading. Looking forward to each weeks special activities!!

Thanks for the Camp NetGalley Welcome Pack, I must say I have never played book bingo before and it sounds like fun. I really enjoyed The Rose Arbor by Rhys Bowen and here's a section of my review. Using a real wartime village on the South Coast of England as her inspiration for The Rose Arbor, Rhys Bowen has created a story-line full of mystery, suspense, secrets, odd coincidences, unanswered questions, eerie feelings, lost memories, and great characters, one being a journalist Liz Houghton who joins the dots together and leaves no stone unturned in her search for the truth. Ms. Bowen has composed yet another five star read and I highly recommend.

The idea of Camp NetGalley is intriguing, but despite reading the entire packet thrice -- I still do not know the purpose is beyond providing extra badges and kudos to the reviewers. Some will not participate because they will fear it is a "requirement' to read specific books. Some will not participate because they fear it will require them to read more books in July than they can do.
Next year, provide MORE information about WHAT Camp NetGalley is in the advertising blurbs.
The packet states in week 1 to "play Camp NetGalley bingo". We are shown the bingo card yet no information is provided on how to play it, where on NetGalley, etc.
One of the action items is to "download" the bingo board yet NO INFORMATION is provided as to where to obtain. I've downloaded it per see when I downloaded the packet. Making your campers LOOK for information that should be readily available to them takes away from their reading and reviewing time.
If using the latest "journal' product for tracking reviews is required, then state that within the advertisement. I do not use the journal -- not because it isn't a good idea. It is. But I already have a method I use to track my NetGalley requests & reviews that works beautifully for me. If this is a requirement, then I won't ask to be a Camp member. HOWEVER, I strongly encourage you *NOT* to make it a requirement.
I strongly encourage that the *NEXT* packet for 2025 Camp NetGalley has a Beta review by readers (like me) *BEFORE* publishing. The lack of how and where to find the action items shown in the packet is discouraging.
I am a fan of the ***IDEA*** of Camp NetGalley. I am disappointed in the rollout. Too many questions after reading the packet (multiple times) and no answers. Thus my rating of just two stars.
I *will* not post this review on my bookreview website or on Goodreads.

Five stars. This seems interesting and am looking forward to Camp NetGalley. Need some s’mores and more words for this review.

I’m excited for Camp!! I think a way to make this better next year is to have a better way for other accounts to interact. But other than that I think this is a fun way to get people to read a bit more in a creative way.

Super excited to start this challenge! I love the variety of fun challenges listed in here, especially the prompts for the scavenger hunt in the social media accounts. This is bound to help me get back into reviewing and reading much more frequently. Thanks to NetGalley for the wonderful summer challenge!

This is such a fun idea and I downloaded the guide immediately! It will encourage me to write even more detailed and thoughtful reviews so I can share my best work for the talent show. I also like the weekly activities idea. I wish there were more physical things to do like the bingo sheet - maybe craft guides or something?
I’m excited for Camp NetGalley and I’m so glad I found this community.

This is such a fun way to encourage reading during July, when many people take their family vacations and may not be as motivated to read. I cannot wait to use this guide!

A bit too cutesy for me. I'd rather have activities geared towards catching up on my to-read and to-review NetGalley shelves. Real-life stickers, not virtual ones, would be cool!

This is my first year doing Camp NetGalley and I'm so stoked to be a part of the community! I think my favorite review I've done so far has been for Beautyland, and I also got to gush about the book with the author herself at a reading!

I’m so excited to be a part of Camp NetGalley! What a fun way to engage in the reading community. I love badges and getting a chance to get something unique is always fun. I like the idea of weekly challenges too, I am a big reader so bingo challenges aren’t really my thing but love seeing others participate! I also love the idea of showcasing different reviews. Reviews are so unique to a reader and how they connected to a book (so long as they don’t contain spoilers). Thanks NetGalley!

I love this concept!! I am excited to participate in the weekly activities! I love the camp NetGalley bingo board.

So much fun! I love this! What a fun way to connect with other readers, engage with the reading community, and celebrate some great titles. Thank you for organizing!

Camp NetGalley is such a fun way to support readers all over the world! Super stoked for this event and opportunity to be apart of it! Can’t wait for Bingo & to see all the fun activities! :)

I always love the idea of encouraging more reading! When daylight is longer, it makes it easier to read more books so seeing others reading, whether out and about or social media is more fun! Plus, I enjoy seeing what other people are reading when they post about it! Would love to see more ways for readers to engage with each other next year!

This is such a fun way to get all of us NetGalley reviewers involved on the site! I loved the bingo cards and other cute checklists!! Excited to keep reading my way through camp NetGalley!!

Camp NetGalley is an exciting way to stay engaged in reading and reviewing titles over the summer. I can’t wait to complete the bingo game specifically.

This sounds fun! I had to read it a few times to understand some of the instructions, also I love the bingo but I feel like a lot of places posted BINGO challenges for the summer a little earlier. I’m signed up for so many BINGOs. Very creative though and I’m looking forward to participating!

I cannot express how much I enjoyed listening to Imogen Church. Her narration was expressive and heart felt. There were a lot of characters for her to voice and she was able to provide enough distinction that it wasn’t overly difficult to tell when one character ended and another started. And this was no easy feat, given she voiced characters of different genders, ages, and nationalities. Her reading style and narration voice {not character voice} was soothing, bordering on relaxing, which says a lot given the subject matter.
I’d definitely listen to an audiobook narrated by Imogen Church again and would recommend her to those who are new to audiobooks.

I only started today but I'm already having a lot of fun and am excited to use this to help further my reading goals!
