This was a cute summer reading packet. I liked the bingo board, and think that it caters well to people who are constantly reading from NetGalley specifically. I didn't really participate in the scavenger hunt because I wasn't super focused on NetGalley's social media, but it also seemed to have NetGalley oriented, summer activities that suited the camp theme. I was mostly waiting for the toolkit to come out and was not disappointed with that at all.

A cute and clever way to engage readers in a different way during the summer. It's clear that a lot of time and effort went into preparing the details of this, from the event calendar with a different task to complete each week to a bingo board aimed to expand reading activities to the opportunity to complete a talent show entry as a culmination of the experience. I was sadly too busy during this time period to participate, but enjoyed following the entries from participants on social media and hope to engage if it is offered again in the future.

This was a lot of fun and a good way to connect on social media with other reviews! Would love to see more of these events in future.

I saw this on LinkedIn today and wish I had found out about it sooner! I love the Instagram story prompts and wish I had a chance to really engage with them earlier in the month. I think Camp Netgalley may(?) have the potential to be a pseudo-summer reading for reviewers. I'll keep an eye out for this next year.

🤔 This one is packed full of interesting facts and information about horses that enthusiasts will devour!
🤔 This book is easily accessible from any page and does not need to be read cover-to-cover.

This was a fun summer event. I liked the summer camp theme, I hope NetGalley does more events like this.

Fun! Loved the stickers. Wish there was a better way to do this virtually and submit our finished packet, as I couldn’t figure out how to add all the stickers to the packets on my phone. But the idea of earning the badges is an engaging one!

Loving Camp NetGalley! It's been so much fun the past few weeks seeing everyone's posts and to be able to follow along using the hashtag on Instagram! This packet is super cute and I'm thrilled to get this new camp-themed badge. The scavenger hunt has been fun and I'm loving all these templates. The very first #campnetgalley was a lot of fun. Playing the bookish bingo board and getting a bingo was my favorite part. As a result of the bingo, I was also motivated to read more Netgalley ARCs and finish my reviews. In addition to getting a badge, I would like to see maybe a few percentage ratio raises or some camp or summer themed read now books. I also included the #campnetgalley hashtag in all my reviews this month. I can't wait to do it again next year.

Such a fun and engaging way to interact with fellow readers! I loved the bingo cards and prompts that pushed me out of my comfort zone! Before Camp NetGalley I was in a TOUGH reading slump but now I have so many new books I’ve added to my TBR and can’t wait to get reading!

I absolutely loved this packet! I love how involved the reading community has become over the last few years with the Bookstagram and BookTok, and this just helps advance that spirit, love and passion of books and their readers. Summer reading has always been one of my favorite things so to put this spin on it was such a fun way to go.

I think this is a fun idea! My problem is I’m so one track minded when I read that I kept forgetting to check in and see what activities to do. The bingo card was my favorite and I have a lot of squares marked off! I do hope more of these are in the future. I’ll make sure next one to print off some of the activities and keep near my reading area.
