The cosplaying boss is my favorite character, of course. This was an interesting bridge of an edition that will clearly lead into bigger things to come. I'm curious to see where things go.

I know there are only three volumes so far but I love this series! Its such a fun take on the magical girl trope! It definitely feels like that trope but written for adults and I love that. The act scenes are great and the characters are so much fun and they are definitely getting stronger with each volume. I can not wait to see where these characters go and how this story plays out.

In "Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc., Vol. 3" by Sekka Iwata, the series continues to blend magical girl action with corporate intrigue engagingly and freshly. This volume sees Kana, our protagonist, stepping further into her role by shadowing Lily, a magical girl employed by a luxury cosmetics company. It's a clever setup that showcases the diverse ways magical girls operate across different businesses, providing a nuanced look at the profession beyond the usual tropes.

The story takes an intriguing turn when Kana and Lily are assigned to handle a kaii outbreak that proves to be more than they bargained for. The tension ratchets up with the introduction of an agent from the largest magical girl company, who brings a new set of skills and a completely different approach to dealing with supernatural threats. This clash of methods between the characters adds a layer of complexity to the plot, highlighting Kana's challenges in navigating her new career.

Iwata's storytelling shines in how it balances action with character development. Kana's growth is evident as she tackles these new challenges, and the dynamic between her and Lily is entertaining and enlightening. The artwork complements the narrative well, capturing the intense action scenes and the more subtle moments of character interaction with equal finesse.

Overall, "Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc., Vol. 3" is a compelling addition to the series, offering thrilling magical battles and thoughtful exploration of the magical girl industry's inner workings. It’s a must-read for fans looking for something different from the usual magical girl fare.

This series keeps surprising me in the best of ways. The mix of magical girl antics with workplace comedy continues to be a good formula. The undertones of trying to create a more positive and healthy work culture for all employees is also a breath of fresh air. This is just a really nice, fun series that's easy to recommend to others whether they're magical girl fans or not. If this sounds interesting to you at all, read it. I didn't know I needed a series like this as an adult.
