My girl Lucy Score can not write a bad book!

This was a good palate cleanser book for when you want a break from the smut.

Such an all around good book.

I fell in love with this town and fell in love with this book! I highly recommend to rom com fans. Great characters and I couldn't put the book down. Read when you are free for the day! This book will consume you!

I wished I would have had the chance to read the first in this series, but I was happy to find out that this is also a stand alone novel. I did enjoy the characters and their development, and the plot was very well planned. I think the slow burn of the novel made it so much better. Once the romance did get started, it was written so well. I look forward to more from this author.

Thank you Net Galley ARC

Fall into Temptation is book 2 in the Blue Moon series and this time we get the brother Beckett. He and Gianna are perfect for each other...although it does take them a bit to figure out how to make a relationship work. He's a loving son who is worried about the man his mom is dating and she's an amazing mom working hard to make her family happy. I enjoyed the brothers camaraderie and am looking forward to book 3. Lucy Score's book area always fun with some added spice!

Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review. All opinions are my own.

Publication date: 10 September 2024

Lucy score has definitely scored with this one! stepbrother and sister can be an awkward trope. but if you don't mind or ignore that part it feels like a really solid romance! beckett is such a cute name too! good mom vibes for this book made me feel really good reading it being a mother myself. I really identified with the MC and sometimes the love interest. The setting is chef's kiss! Thank you, Lucy Score, the publisher, and Netgalley!

Second in the Blue Moon series but it totally works as a standalone.

As the story progressed the romance got really, really good.

Lucy Score is the queen of small town romances. This book felt like the perfect mix of cozy and spicy which is also one of the biggest trends in romance this season (cozy spice). I recommend this series to anyone who loved the Dream Harbor series or is a fan of Gilmore Girls.

Lucy Score's writing is always so easy and comforting, though this book definitely fell short of her other, more popular books (like Everything We Hide From the Light.) A s a cozy fall read I wouldn't necessarily recommend it over other books but I wouldn't NOT recommend it! Love Lucy Score's writing as always :)

Beckett Pierce’s interest is piqued. The buttoned-up lawyer / town mayor is eager to meet the newest town resident after catching a glimpse of her through the window of her yoga studio. She may not be his usual type, but something about her catches his attention.

But then he finds out that she’s his newest tenant, occupying the guest house in his backyard with her two children.

And her father is dating his mother.

And it looks like things are getting serious there.

The odds may be stacked against them, but will Beckett and Gianna be able to resist temptation and stay away from each other?

At a glance:
- Dual POV
- Small town
- Single parent
- Landlord/tenant

I think I am in love with Beckett Pierce! This slow burn will have you in your feels! Especially if you love the single mom trope- which I do 100%! I am obsessed with the kids calling him Bucket 😂 I need to go back and read book 1 ASAP to see Summer and Carter because they are adorable in this! Can’t wait to see what’s in store for me in book 3!!

The romance was little too quick- instant love with not a ton of connection. The main male character was not sympathetic. The miscommunication that broke them up was very harsh from him and I did not see how the female main character could forgive him and get back together with him so easily. The way they get back together also seemed very manipulative and it did not make sense for them to be together the way the book ended.

Gianna and her kids had to make a hard decision (but what was best for them) to leave their old life behind and start over. Their new community welcomed her and her yoga studio with open arms and the towns mayor swept her off her feet! I absolutely loved this book. Will definitely recommend!

First things first, I love how authentic and genuine the characters in this book felt. In this story, Beckett Pierce, the town’s mayor, and Gia Decker, a yoga instructor and single mom of two, are both wonderfully flawed individuals. Beckett, struggling with his attraction to a woman who is not his usual type, and Gia, juggling motherhood and a new business, are relatable and grounded in a way that makes their journey all the more compelling. It’s a romance that feels real, with characters whose imperfections make them endearing.

One of the highlights of this book is the realistic depiction of family life, especially with Gia’s two kids, Evan and Aurora. Evan, a wise-beyond-his-years pre-teen, and Aurora, a fiercely lovable five-year-old, bring depth and humor to the story. Their presence adds a layer of warmth to Beckett and Gia's relationship, as they navigate the complexities of blending lives and families. As someone who grew up in a blended family, I thought the way that Score handled the situation was realistic and poignant.

Overall, Fall Into Temptation is a charming, fun, and at times frustrating read, but it’s also a story full of heart. Lucy Score has crafted a tale where opposites attract, but it’s the characters' growth and the slow burn of their relationship that make the payoff so satisfying. Beckett and Gia’s journey from tentative attraction to a strong, loving partnership, with a healthy dose of humor and family bonds, and left me smiling. I loved the setting of Blue Moon and its eccentric matchmaking crew - it was so full of charm and whimsy! I can't wait to read more books in this series!

REVIEW: Fall Into Temptation by Lucy Score

Lucy Score's Fall into Temptation shows that the enemies-to-lovers trope is still alive and kicking, especially in the hands of a skilled author. Set in the charming little town of Blue Moon Bend, this book mixes witty banter, genuine emotions, and some serious chemistry.

Our main characters, Gianna and Beckett, are wonderfully flawed and relatable. Their initial bickering feels natural, not forced. With Gianna trying to save her family's legacy and Beckett wanting to prove himself, some genuine conflict goes deeper than just misunderstandings. Score nails their relationship with clever dialogue that had me laughing and swooning.

The small-town vibe is a big win here. The secondary characters add richness without stealing the spotlight, and the local businesses and traditions make Blue Moon Bend feel like a place you'd want to visit.

What I loved most was the pacing. The journey from enemies to allies to lovers unfolds smoothly, with each step feeling earned through growth and shared experiences. The chemistry between Gianna and Beckett is electric right from their first encounter, and Score does a great job of letting the tension build before everything explodes.

Sure, the plot leans on some familiar romance tropes, but Score's strong writing and character development elevate the story. The only tiny downside is that the resolution in the final act felt a bit rushed compared to how carefully the rest of the story was built up.

You will love this book if you're into contemporary romance with a good mix of heart and heat. Score has crafted a satisfying read that feels both cozy and fresh. It is perfect for fans of small-town romances and enemies-to-lovers stories, especially if you appreciate well-developed characters along with romantic tension.

This is my first book by Lucy Score. I loved her clean romance and how she depicts the characters. I fell in love with Gia myself. What a strong woman to live that life in this hectic and crazy world! I loved the positivity in this book. I will definitely be checking other books by this author, especially the books in this Blue Moon series.

The most perfect book for fall! Cute, quick, and easy read to get you in the fall mood. I have yet to read a Lucy Score book I didn't like. She is my auto-buy author every time because she just doesn't miss.
The banter is top tier and there's a delicate playfulness to it that doesn't seem overdone. I love Gia and Beckett, they might be my favorite characters that she's written!

Every book I read by Lucy Score cements her as one of my favorite, must read authors. She writes characters and communities that are interesting and that I want to know and be part of. The interactions between the main characters, Gia and Beckett, strikes the right balance between sweetness, banter, caring, tension, and heat. The sweet and quirky town of Blue Moon and all of its inhabitants added interest and depth to the story. This was a book that I enjoyed thoroughly and I want to read all of the other books in this series. I highly recommend this book to readers that like their rom-coms with quirky small towns, interesting characters, and a nice balance of sweetness and heat.

**Review of *Fall into Temptation* by Lucy Score**

Lucy Score's *Fall into Temptation* is a delightful and entertaining romance that captures the charm and chaos of small-town life with a perfect blend of humor and heart. Set in the nosiest town in upstate New York, the story follows the brooding Beckett Pierce and the fiercely independent Gianna Decker, both of whom are navigating the challenges of love, family, and personal growth.

Beckett, the town’s most eligible bachelor, has had his fill of romantic entanglements after a comical disaster with his last girlfriend. His reluctance to get involved is understandable, especially when Gianna, a single mom juggling a new yoga studio and her chaotic life, moves into his orbit. The chemistry between them is undeniable, filled with tension and sizzling moments that keep readers hooked. Their accidental stolen kisses are both playful and electric, showcasing Score's talent for crafting romantic scenes that feel both genuine and exciting.

Gianna’s character is refreshing—she’s strong, relatable, and fiercely dedicated to her children and her new business. Her internal struggles about finding love while managing her responsibilities add depth to her character and make her journey all the more engaging. Beckett’s growth as he grapples with his feelings for Gianna is equally satisfying, as he learns to embrace vulnerability and the possibility of love again.

The supporting cast of quirky townsfolk adds an extra layer of charm to the story, bringing plenty of laughter and unexpected moments. The way the community interacts with and complicates Beckett and Gianna's budding romance keeps the plot lively and fun.

Overall, *Fall into Temptation* is a beautifully written romantic comedy that perfectly balances humor, passion, and heartfelt moments. Lucy Score has crafted a story that is not only entertaining but also resonates with themes of family, self-discovery, and the transformative power of love. This book is a must-read for anyone looking for a lighthearted escape filled with relatable characters and unforgettable moments. You’ll find yourself laughing out loud and cheering for Beckett and Gianna every step of the way!
