I think I am in love with Beckett Pierce! This slow burn will have you in your feels! Especially if you love the single mom trope- which I do 100%! I am obsessed with the kids calling him Bucket 😂 I need to go back and read book 1 ASAP to see Summer and Carter because they are adorable in this! Can’t wait to see what’s in store for me in book 3!!

The romance was little too quick- instant love with not a ton of connection. The main male character was not sympathetic. The miscommunication that broke them up was very harsh from him and I did not see how the female main character could forgive him and get back together with him so easily. The way they get back together also seemed very manipulative and it did not make sense for them to be together the way the book ended.

Gianna and her kids had to make a hard decision (but what was best for them) to leave their old life behind and start over. Their new community welcomed her and her yoga studio with open arms and the towns mayor swept her off her feet! I absolutely loved this book. Will definitely recommend!

One of the highlights of this book is the realistic depiction of family life, especially with Gia’s two kids, Evan and Aurora. Evan, a wise-beyond-his-years pre-teen, and Aurora, a fiercely lovable five-year-old, bring depth and humor to the story. Their presence adds a layer of warmth to Beckett and Gia's relationship, as they navigate the complexities of blending lives and families. As someone who grew up in a blended family, I thought the way that Score handled the situation was realistic and poignant.

Lucy Score has crafted a tale where opposites attract, but it’s the characters' growth and the slow burn of their relationship that make the payoff so satisfying. I loved the setting of Blue Moon and its eccentric matchmaking crew - it was so full of charm and whimsy! I can't wait to read more books in this series!

Our main characters, Gianna and Beckett, are wonderfully flawed and relatable. Their initial bickering feels natural, not forced. With Gianna trying to save her family's legacy and Beckett wanting to prove himself, some genuine conflict goes deeper than just misunderstandings. Score nails their relationship with clever dialogue that had me laughing and swooning.

The small-town vibe is a big win here. The secondary characters add richness without stealing the spotlight, and the local businesses and traditions make Blue Moon Bend feel like a place you'd want to visit.

What I loved most was the pacing. The journey from enemies to allies to lovers unfolds smoothly, with each step feeling earned through growth and shared experiences. The chemistry between Gianna and Beckett is electric right from their first encounter, and Score does a great job of letting the tension build before everything explodes.

Sure, the plot leans on some familiar romance tropes, but Score's strong writing and character development elevate the story. The only tiny downside is that the resolution in the final act felt a bit rushed compared to how carefully the rest of the story was built up.

This is my first book by Lucy Score. I loved her clean romance and how she depicts the characters. I fell in love with Gia myself. What a strong woman to live that life in this hectic and crazy world! I loved the positivity in this book. I will definitely be checking other books by this author, especially the books in this Blue Moon series.

The most perfect book for fall! Cute, quick, and easy read to get you in the fall mood. I have yet to read a Lucy Score book I didn't like. She is my auto-buy author every time because she just doesn't miss.
The banter is top tier and there's a delicate playfulness to it that doesn't seem overdone. I love Gia and Beckett, they might be my favorite characters that she's written!

Every book I read by Lucy Score cements her as one of my favorite, must read authors. She writes characters and communities that are interesting and that I want to know and be part of. Fall into Temptation tells the story of grumpy Blue Moon mayor Beckett Pierce and his new tenant, the single mom Gianna. Neither one of them are looking for love, but the more time they spend together, the hotter things get. Gianna wants to protect her kids (the younger of which hilariously calls Beckett "Bucket") and her heart, but can "Bucket" be resisted?

I have loved everything I have previously read from Lucy Score, and this was no exception. I really like the way she writes her stories and the characters and how they develop throughout the stories. I love the charming small-town setting of Blue Moon and the comfort it brings when reading. It made me feel as though I was a part of their world. You truly cannot go wrong with a Lucy Score book. I will recommend to others and look forward to future titles.

This book gave Beckett and his brothers room to grow and bond. To really dive into some of their backstory and not just focus on the blossoming love. I really enjoyed it and think it sets the reader up to stick with the series. Blue Moon shines in this series, with its quirky, close-knit vibe that makes you wish you could visit. Lucy Score brings humor, warmth, and heart to this small-town romance, and I can’t wait to dive back into Blue Moon for more.

Second in the Blue Moon series, I found myself liking this one slightly more than the first, as I usually do in series, since I was more familiar with the characters and town setting. However, there were still personalities and situations that rubbed me a little the wrong way, so I wouldn't say I necessarily loved this one either.

Beckett Pierce is the responsible middle Pierce brother, town lawyer and mayor of Blue Moon Bend at just 28 years old, and the one who stuck around when things got hard and his beloved father, John, passed away. When flighty Gianna Decker comes to town to take over the yoga studio, and rents his backyard cottage with her two children, he finds himself uncharacteristically drawn to her. Complicating matters besides the fact that he's her landlord and she has the baggage of a complicated former marriage, she is also the daughter of Franklin Merrill, Beckett's mother's new boyfriend and the man he feels is trying to usurp John's memory. Although I liked Beckett best of the brothers in the first book, his actions in this one were bratty, immature, and insecure. He even said some incredibly misogynistic things to Gia, that as a mother who sometimes questions what would be the best move to make for my children in the long run, left my jaw hanging. It took the manipulation of the town to get both of them to see sense again after Beckett's jump to conclusions in a drawn out third act miscommunication and breakup. Even though Beckett was an idiot, he at least had a personality, which is more than I can say for his older brother Carter.

Cozy and fun read!

Gia arrives at Blue Moon to give a brighter future for herself and her kids. She is living in a townhouse owned by the Mayor, Beckett. They have instant chemistry and such a great push and pull between them! I absolutely loved them together!


All the characters were fantastic in this book! I loved the dual povs, the humor, and overall plot of this book! Lucy Score never disappoints and this book is no exception! This was the perfect book to get me in the fall mood!

This was good. It took me a while to get through but it was cute and heartwarming. I liked it but didn't love it. There are other Score books I liked more but I will always be a fan of her writing.

Possibly even more fun than the first book! Really loved how many tropes Score squeezed into this romp: we-can't-date-because-you're-my-landlord, we-can't-date-because-your-dad-is-marrying-my-mom-and-I've-got-Big-Feelings-about it, opposites attracting (her: the clumsy yoga guru, him: the straightlaced mayor/lawyer), single mom and grumpy bachelor... Bennett and Gia's dynamic was such fun, and her kids were HILARIOUS -- far too often, kids in romances are written so badly, or are only obstacles/annoyances, but Aurora (WHAT A DELIGHT!) and Evan both felt real and added texture to the story in entertaining ways. Also fun seeing the Beautification Committee getting fleshed out/digging their tenacious claws into things, and the side characters -- as always, in a Lucy Score charmer -- frequently made me snort. Especial fave was probably Goth Princess/Beckett's paralegal Ellery, with her platform boots and black lipstick. Once again, I sped through the book with barely a breath, and I'm already diving into Book 3. Can't wait to shove this series at everyone I cross paths with!
