Fall Into Temptation by Lucy Score is a delightful small-town romance that will leave you smiling. The story follows Gia, a single mom trying to balance work and raising her kids, and Beckett, the charming and eligible bachelor in town. Their paths cross unexpectedly, and sparks fly.

Lucy Score's writing is witty and engaging, and the characters are relatable and lovable. The story is filled with heartwarming moments, humorous banter, and a touch of steaminess. If you're looking for a feel-good romance that will make you laugh and swoon, Fall Into Temptation is a must-read.

It feels like a Hallmark movie, it was interesting reading about a singles mom
I hated to much how we can see that they like each other and when the third act happens, everything doesn't make sense, he just goes and it is so stupid because throughout the book he knows there's a reason why she is by herself, and when we senses something and doesn't ask, I don't really like it, and when he tries to apologize, it feels boring, I liked that she didn't just forgive him, and the kids felt sometimes like an adult is talking, which is a problem books that include kids have.
It looks like an interesting series but it needs a little bit of work with the male characters.
Thanks NetGalley, the publisher and the author for this book.

Thank you to NetGalley for providing a digital copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. This is book 2 in the Blue Moon series but can be read as a standalone. This one focuses on the next Pierce brother, Beckett, the mayor of Blue Moon who falls for the new girl in town, yoga studio owner Gianna. As expected after reading book 1, they quickly become enamored with each other but fight it off due to the baggage each would bring to the potential relationship. Thus, they embark on a secret relationship, all the while the town of Blue Moon is on to them, and secretly rooting for them. This enchanting town and Pierce family is what Hallmark movies are made of and I'm here for it.

I really enjoyed book two of the Blue Moon series even though I wanted to throttle Beckett Pierce more than a time or two. I appreciated the strong female lead in Gia. I equally liked the overlap from the first book; while it could be read as a standalone, if you already love the Pierce family you get even more bits and pieces. Children in books can be hit or miss with me but I felt Lucy Score wrote Ethan and Rora with authenticity. Complete page turner that I struggled to put down.

Thank you Bloom Books for the gifted ARC.

This is my first book by Lucy Score I’ve ever read, and I thought it was good. I love how the story is realistic in terms of characters and personalities - it makes them a lot more relatable and makes it more refreshing (compared to the fantasy books I’ve been reading.) The story is cute - he falls first - and the many, many interactions between Gia and Beckett were nice. What I got confused in was that Gianna’s dad, Franklin, is dating/planning to get married to Beckett’s mom, Phoebe. Won’t that make them…step siblings? A bit strange. Overall, I thought it was a good read.

Oh I enjoyed this soooo much. Even though it wasn't my favorite book by Lucy Score, I really really had a great time. I am already in the mood for fall so it was definitely a great way to start the season. Great story, liked the characters and as always loved the writing style!

This Blue Moon series has consistently been one of my favorites when it comes to portraying family dynamics and small-town life. Lucy absolutely outdid themselves with the second book in this series. It features a range of emotions, from heartwarming moments to tear-jerking scenes, and it’s a testament to Lucy’s exceptional writing skills that this book serves as a reminder of why I consider them one of my favorite authors.

4.75🌟.

I’ve read a lot of small town romance books and if i could choose one fictional town to live in, it would be undoubtedly Blue moon.
God, these people are nuts! Crazy but with golden hearts ♥️. I adored every single one of them.

Beckett Pierce the most eligible bachelor and Mayor of blue moon was such a wonderful human. I loved how big his heart was. He was a great Mayor, Son, brother and overall a sensitive and caring person. Likewise Gianna Decker is struggling with life after moving to a new town with two kids. Especially as she is recently divorced.
I loved how vibrant and chaotic she was. Like Beckett she was such a positive character. Together they were a good match.

The whole town and their antics and quirks added so much depth to the story and I can’t wait to Jax and Joey’s book.
Special mention for Evan and Rora. They were my favourites.

- Small town romance.
- Single mom.
- Secretly dating.
- Big loud, chaotic and mismatched family.
- Holiday vibes.
- Could be read as standalone and safe.

I received an advance review copy and I’m leaving this review voluntarily.

This was so cute and hilarious, it's definitely giving those sitcom small town vibes - town meetings, everyone is in each other's business, great found family atmosphere, lovely cast of characters. I only took one star off the rating because of the third-act conflict/breakup. The way Beckett behaved toward the end of the book gave me whiplash and it seemed so immature. However, the ending itself was very cute and the book is an enjoyable autumnal read.

This was originally self-published in 2016 and is being re-released by Bloom. It has all of the elements to be a successful rom-com, but the execution of them missed the mark. I like the Pierce family and the Blue Moon is a hilariously quirky small town. The third act breakup was so long that it detracted from time spent developing the relationship between Beckett and Gia. The entire book was too long and was a slog to get through. This would've benefited from having a strong editing team to really hone the story into something more focused.

Thank you for the opportunity to read this title. I really liked the movement of this, as compared to the earlier, and found the characters captivating. Will definitely suggest to our book club as I think there's a lot that can be discussed with a group!

This should have worked....

But missed the mark a bit. Gia is a busy divorced mother, who has a a yoga studio in a small town.
Beckett is the mayor, landlord. They are immediately into each other. The elements were there but just didn't do it the trick.

Thank you @netgalley and @read_bloom for the opportunity to read Lucy Score’s Fall Into Temptation in exchange for an honest review! I’ve heard so much about Lucy Score’s books that I was excited to try this novel out, but I am not sure if her writing is for me.

While this novel has all of the usual makings of a romcom book, this one wasn’t it for me. It follows Gia, a mother of two, who moves to Blue Moon to be near her father who has developed a serious relationship with a new woman, the mother of her landlord, the mayor, and a serious personal temptation to her, Beckett Pierce. As any romcom would, there’s conflict, romance, and laughable moments along the way. Together, all of this can make a masterpiece of a story, but it felt like this one was missing some opportunities.

The major issues that I found while reading were rushed elements. For example, the conflict between Gia and Beckett begins almost immediately with sexual tension and communication that would feel cringey between essential strangers. This made it hard to root for their relationship because it felt premature and almost tacky. Additionally there were other elements that felt tacky, such as the constant winking between characters— it was seriously like two winking interactions per page. Beckett acted like a man who needs to be manly, control the situation, and make decisions for the woman and it was very annoying to follow along rooting for their relationship to work out, even if he is supposed to be a nice guy. The conflicts felt too minor to be wreaking such havoc and this just wasn’t it for me.

Another fun installment of Lucy's Blue Moon series. I love this town and all the books in this quirky series. Although Beckett and Gianna work hard to resist their mutual attraction, ultimately they can't stay away from each other. With a supporting cast of unique and meddling characters, the Blue Moon series is romantic comedy at it's finest.

I sure do hate a third act breakup.
Honestly, the fact that that was most of the conflict of the book ruined it for me.
