While this book was a fast and easy flowing novel, I can't say that I loved it. I found it wrapped up too neatly and overall too happy for such a heavy and serious topic.

Myra's life is torn apart following an accident in which two people were killed. Her marriage falls apart, her children suffer and she loses her job. Full of guilt, she tries to help but only makes things worse. When the eldest of the Garcia's children turns up on her doorstep asking for help she recognises that this is her chance to atone and agrees to adopt the three children in order to stop them being separated in the care system. This was an emotional rollercoaster of a read - despair, hatred, hope, love all spill over into the novel. A heartwarming read and well worth a few hours of anyone's time.

I received an arc copy of this book from Net Galley in exchange for my honest opinion of it. This is a story about forgiveness and bringing two families together after a tragedy. I really enjoyed the storyline and the characters. I am not a fan of the curse words and I would have given this book 5 starts if it wasn't for them.
