Thank yiy NetGalley and publisher for this arc!

I unfortunately did not like this book. I really wanted to like it but it fell flat for me and I ended up DNFing it after about 30%

The book itself was cute, had a positive message, however I found myself bored at times and had to force myself to keep going.

Unfortunately added to the very lengthy list of DNFs. No significant reason other than the speed of the sorry felt chaotic for no reason and it left me unable to connect to the characters. The rest of the elements just felt fine.

An ok read. It was a little predictable. The characters were likeable but the plot did not grab my interest.

loved this mystery and keeping secrets and the different point of views. Also loved trying to figure out who did it . I enjoyed the mystery behind it.

Lone Wolf in Lights is a well written romance. I enjoyed the well developed plot. I recommend this book. My thanks to the publisher and Netgalley. This is my unbiased review.

Perfect holiday romance for the cowboy fans.

Although this deals with the heavy topic of domestic abuse, I found this to be a cozy read. The setting is nice and the characters' romance develops as a slow burn. I found the book to be romantic and give me the warm fuzzy feelings I'm searching for in a holiday romance. I found Willow and Eli's love story to be very sweet and heartwarming.

I liked the characters a lot. I found them to have a lot of depth and believability. They felt like they could be real people.

I think the author does a good job writing about domestic abuse and the effects it can have on people. It did not feel like an info dump either.

There are open door steamy scenes which were tasteful and hot.

Would recommend!

This is a light hearted holiday romance that has u settling dark elements. Both willow and Eli are healing from past trauma and find comfort in each other. It’s a good holiday romance that has dark and light to balance out this romance.

Twister Cow boy meets christmas? PLEASE! Take my money! The character development in this is a chefs kiss. This book is sweet and romantic. My emotions were running all over this place during this read.

This was a lovely Christmas cowboy book, with characters who had tons of depth due to their separate life experiences. I really enjoyed the romance and the deeper topic that was covered. The setting was dreamy too of course!

A holiday centered read with drama, darkness, tension and budding love. This was much darker than I thought it would be but it definitely had it's place in the story. Eli and Willow go through it to find their happy ending. While their story was sweet it felt a little rushed and not authentic for me. The dialogue was a little awkward but in many moments fun and cheesy. Both MCs grief is handled and resolved fairly quickly so if you are looking for something that is sweet, fast paced and has that heaping dose of darkness wrapped up in a holiday bow then this is for you! I did enjoy this read even if isn't a book I would normally reach for.

Thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin - Romance for providing this book, with my honest review below.

Lone Wolf in Lights wasn’t too my tastes but was a sweet romance for those it appeals to. Maybe I should have read other books in the series (though it’s not needed to follow along) to get a more drawn out world in the context of the book. As it was the story of Willow and Eli was a little too simple and neat for me. I did enjoy the characters (including supporting) and the focus on domestic violence support, which was incredibly well done. I think I’m aiming for either a plot that is vividly not something mired in reality or vividly is. This was just a fairly basic, if sweet, romance.

This book tore me up and put me back together. Surely Willow and Eli will have a fantastic future considering what they had to go through to find their happy. My heart bled for each of them. I loved the idea of the Empowerment Elves group. Willow is my favorite type of female lead character; smart, strong and self aware.

I did not expect to find a book with fantastic romance, a bit of stream, and such a deep plot with wonderful characters. I was wildly impressed with how well the main characters trauma and grief were handled. Being able to bring such emotional subjects into a story with respect and maintain a love story really takes talent.

I jumped into the series with this book by virtue of being given an A R C and will be going back to read the first. I don't think I missed anything by not having read the first, that is to say this book operated well as a total standalone. A standalone that inspired me to add this author to my TBR list.

Stacey’s stories are magic. Willow and Eli’s story hit in all the right places. There is chemistry, friendship, drama, CHRISTMAS and more. I loved all the townspeople and including Betty and Harold. When I start a Stacey Kennedy story, i can’t put it down.

This was such a quick and easy read! It's sweet, angsty, deep and swoonworthy all at the same time - what more could you ask for!? I do wish it would've been a little more focused on the Christmas elements since it is described as a holiday romance, but I loved it nevertheless!

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Harlequin - Romance for sending me this arc, it was such a good read!

Took me a bit to really get into this title. I was hoping for more Christmas content and not as much cowboy story. It was still entertaining and I love the cover. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.

This book handled the abuse storyline with thoughtfulness and empowerment. Intertwined with the love of her two BFF's, Willow learns how to move forward from an abusive relationship. I love, love how the Author created her character to be supportive to others who are/were in abusive situations. She is empowering for herself and others by helping other women to talk while they craft.

This is an area I am familiar with from my childhood, so I was able to relate to the storyline and its authenticity. It did trigger some childhood trauma but it also made me smile that these women were projected as strong and moving forward with their lives.

Eli is broken and stuck but what a great character he has. He is pivotal to the storyline and his protectiveness is attractive as it's done allowing Willow to heal.

This book is special because it shows guy friends supporting each other and talking through issues and life. It shows that just because two people are broken it does not mean that they can't heal and love again.
