This is an excellent collection of a diverse array of Asian American women whose families originate from many different countries and who have many different kinds of careers. The illustrations are colorful, lively, and beautiful.

Nina Mata started portraying Asian women when violence was targeted at some Asian women with the covid pandemic. The cadence of the book is perfect, a beautiful drawing of the featured woman and then a page or so of their major accomplishments.

I really enjoyed this book (and I'm nearly 60). Beautiful and informational. My sister-in-law is Filippino and my niece is 8.
