This was a colourful engaging book for my 2 1/2 year old Granddaughter. She loved counting as we turned each page and making the sounds of the boats, fish and animals. As she is quite bright, this was probably a bit easy for her but I think for a 2 and below it is perfect. We enjoyed it nontheless and I would recommend this book to others of young children.

My toddler loved the different animals she saw in the book around Lake Tahoe! The pictures were exciting and the counting made the book exciting for her at her current stage. The counting up book style fit in great with this setting!

This is a great book for kids to learn to count. Has great illustrations, they were bright and colorful. There were a couple of words, such as gondola cars and marmots, that I had to explain to our kids, since I read this book to them, with what they were. Which is not a bad thing, but it stopped the flow of the book.

What a lovely counting book! Perfect for little ones learning their numbers. Most counting books you come across are quite basic but this one was beautifully illustrated and was very engaging.

With illustrations in the vein of the Ice Age films, 'Tahoe 123' is a fun story detailing all of the adventures animals can get up to in the region. It's a simple yet effective counting story that engages kids with their numbers while keeping them entertained with all of the sweet animals.

An adorable little book for little ones. We get to tour around Lake Tahoe with Beary Bear and Cheeky Chipmunk as they show us the sights and animals and learn to count to 10. The illustrations are positively eye popping and really grab our attention.Very bold and bright. Adorable animals help show us the different numbers. Easy to follow and read and great for storytime with your little ones. This would also be great to use in an early childhood classroom.

The first thing to mention is the artwork in this book is absolutely stunning! A great like nature/animal themed counting book for the little ones with artwork that is just gorgeous. Will definitely be adding this to our shelves!

Short, snappy, rhyming and counting fun that introduces readers to numbers from one through 10. The illustrrations are striking, with a well-considered colour pallette. The rhymes could have been more balanced to help the reading flow but aside from that, the book was lovely to read.

I love how the author hs specifically sought out the creatures you would see in the locality so despite being difficult for children to maybe read themselve, the authors is sure to promote coyotes, mountain lions, and beaver amongst the creatures to be encountered.

This type of book isn't novel, but Tahoe 123 does carry its own flair to give this topic an interesting lens. It is particularly useful for local readers and those with an interest in wildlife. otherwise the species used lack relevance and ease of pronunciation..

The rhyming lilt and beautiful illustrations makes for a fun read while learning! Kids can learn to count through these pages while seeing many different animals having fun! This counting book explores the animals that live near Lake Tahoe. Each page has a new animal and number. The animals are doing different activities that you could also do in Lake Tahoe. The illustrations are really detailed and fun to look at. I think this would be a great car ride book or for introducing a trip to Lake Tahoe. The last page also has hidden numbers.
