This wasn't the best book for me and my reading group. There was very little development in the first quarter of the book and that left us disinterested. The romance felt forced in every sense. Honestly, Saer came off kind of obnoxious despite his complimenting her. Nareen was just back and forth and just not an appealing heroine.
