I am so so proud of this book!!! I may not have written it but it wonderful to me because I am disabled. I am deaf and started at a.deaf.school at.age 10 to 19. I went to Rochester School for the.Deaf in Rochester NY and they.were my saving grace. Before that I went to a public school for hearing people. They had tried hard to.accommodate me there but it did not work out. They, the school decided to call another school to help me and within a year I.was at a new.school and I loved it. Yes I know.sign language and still use it to this.day. my family.are all hearing . my husband and 2 sons are all hearing. This book is a wonderful book to read and EVERYONE should read read this book. Wonderful book and the author has my.full support in writing more of these kinds of books.

I received a.free copy.of this book and is voluntarily writing a review

A really easy-to-understand and detailed book with interesting information on people with disabilities. I also want to make it clear that I think this book is definitely for kids that can read on their own, but aren't old yet. By this I mean I think that kids that are in 3rd-5th grade would get the most out of this book. I know they'll definitely learn a lot, I know I did!
The last thing I have to say that this book did really well was organization. All of the chapters moved along nicely and were clearly interconnected yet separate, and they were all a really good length. The pictures were even organized with the information and the layout of the pages really well.
Bravo!
