Cat and Noah find each other when Noah saves Cat's scarf from the ocean which Cat is afraid of going in. When Cat finds medical bills for her uncle that are past due she is afraid they are going to lose the B&B and takes on a job as Noah's personal assistant to pad her income. He would have paid her bills but she would not let him so he invents tasks for her since he is on an enforced sabbatical due to his anxiety. Being in close contact allows them to grow closer and while this is great. This was a great story and is definitely a standalone as are all in this series.
Another Sunset Harbor romance in the books!🌴 This was a cute closed-door romance, and while I didn’t felt particularly invested into the characters, I still had fun reading the story.

Beachy Keen is one book in a series of books called Falling for Summer but it can be read a a standalone. Each book in the series is a small town romance that takes place in the beautiful, but fictional, town of Sunset Harbor…where the residents are close knit and the retirees are nosy!
A light and airy summer romance with a dash of comedy. Cat Keene has been raised by her uncle who has been tried and true to her. He has taken care of her and been a solid mentor along the way. Cat accidentally stumbles across a letter addressed to her uncle that reflects that he has some medical bills past due…way past due…in a large sum. Cat naturally decides it’s time to turn the tables and secretly help her uncle so she starts brainstorming ways to secretly do so without hurting his pride.
Meanwhile, billionaire Noah Belacourt has been encouraged by his company to take a small hiatus with his company by vacationing in his home town of Sunset Harbor. Noah arrives to town dreading the return until he runs into his boyhood crush…Cat Keene. She is still the same ole’ Cat. And, Noah likes that very much. Will he be able to re-connect with her and only be friends?
This is a fun, sweet romance. There are a few laugh out loud moments and some touching scenes. The narrators are really great. I love the different female and male voices. When you need a nice light romance without a lot of profanity or sex, this is a good one to turn to. Stockton is pretty dependable for that. Sometimes I think the conflict is a little contrived but I don't mind too much when I am in the mood for something light.
Beachy Keen offers a sweet, lighthearted romance with a classic billionaire-meets-small-town-girl storyline. Cat and Noah’s chemistry unfolds with a mix of charm and predictability as they navigate past misunderstandings and newfound closeness. While the plot follows familiar tropes, the characters’ dynamic and the nostalgic beachside bed & breakfast setting add warmth to the story. It’s an enjoyable read for fans of second-chance romance, though it may not surprise those looking for something fresh. Decent for a cozy weekend escape!
The audio was terrible. Lost interest very quickly. I'll likely give the kindle version a try. But the narrator just killed the story for me.
As I finish up my summer-themed reading, I was delighted that "Beachy Keen" is one of the last beach reads of the season. It's a sweet and charming cozy romance that touches on mental health issues, particularly anxiety, without making light of it. The slow-burn romance and dual perspectives were great, and the narrators did a fantastic job. However, it took me a bit of time to get used to the narration style, where each main character had their own narrator, but both narrators also did voices for all characters of the same gender. Once I got used to it, the story flowed well and I was able to enjoy it. If you're looking for a cozy beach read with a kind-hearted billionaire, this is definitely one to pick up.
This one stood out from the others in the series! I enjoyed the chemistry between Cat and Noah, and the B&B setting was charming. While the non-spicy romance wasn’t my usual pick, this one had enough heart and wit to keep me hooked. Definitely my favorite of the series.
What made me fall in love with this book was how raw and real the characters are. Their struggles felt relatable and I found myself invested in their journey to overcome them. They not only grew as a couple, but they also grew as individuals. They were truly there for each other and both offered comfort to the other when needed. I loved how Noah was always there for Cat, showing her how much she meant to him, and surprising her with the small and big gestures. Noah’s family dynamics made me chuckle while also rolling my eyes (you’ll understand).
I listened to the audiobook and really enjoyed the duet narration!
Looking for a Billionaire clean romance? This is it. The slow burn between Cat and Noah was done so well. I was living for all the almost kiss moments. Noah has had a secret crush on Cat for a long time but now he is her boss so he has to be professional . Let’s just say the lines of being professional start to blur and a sweet romance begins to grow. The nicknames were so spot on!! Plus who doesn’t love a hot nerdy billionaire??!!! I absolutely loved it and was swooning when their epic kiss finally happened. The narrators were spot on for me, I enjoyed their narration
I’m a new fan of Kasey Stockton. This was another hit for me from her! I adore the witty banter and fun situations she gets her characters into. The perfect summer read! Highly recommend for all romcom lovers!
Loved. This. Book!
It gave me all the summer fun vibes (which I am NOT a summer fan) and now I wish I lived on a little island!
Cat is such a great main female character! I loved that even though she has gone through so much, she doesn't let anything stop her! She is always caring and loyal to those around her!
Noah has all the money he would ever need, a great business, and abs. But he also has his worries and struggles that life throws. He is such a great guy and I just loved him almost immediately!
Loved this story--they having known each other growing up and things happening between their families and them working together!
This will give you all the good feels! Clean, inspiring, beautiful romance!
Cute story, characters and warm and sunny setting. Perfect for a light summer read. This barely counts as a romance but the gentle tension does help keep the story moving
Enemies to lovers, the romantic tension, taking care of eachother and moving forward after forgiveness… these are just a few of the topics written into this amazing romcom that make it an easy five stars in my book. I thoroughly enjoyed the audio of this book and will be recommending it to my friends.

Book #2 in the Falling for Summer Series
I really enjoyed this book. It was so great to be back in Sunset Harbor and be able to get to know new characters in this town!
Kasey did such an amazing job writing Cat’s character. The way that she took care of her uncle was such an amazing way to show a strong family bond. She is so strong even with all the loss she experienced and is completely comfortable in her own skin.
And Noah… I loved Noah. He was pining for Cat even when they were in high school and it finally came full circle for him. He would do whatever it takes to just take care of Cat. 😍
Even if some of the aspects of this story were a bit unrealistic I still loved these characters so much and really enjoyed the story. I highly recommend adding this book to your end of summer tbr!
Narration was done by Rylee Kuberra and John Rodgers. The male narrator wasn’t my favorite but I still really liked this as a whole.

Thank you @netgalley and @dreamscape_media for my #gifted audiobook.
Cute rom-com story. Cat and Noah knew each other as kids. Noah is rich and hires Cat as a PA for the summer. He is paying her $2k/day to help her pay, but she doesn't know he's paying so much to help pay for uncles medical bills. Cute book, especially for a summer read.
This was another great story in the Falling for Summer series. I loved the dynamic between Kat and Noah. It was the perfect enemies to lovers. He’s been in love with her since high school and she’s hated him since then. When Noah found out about the medical bills Kat was trying to work to pay off he hired her to be his is all secretary for the few months that he was on the island for. Soon their relationship grew from enemies to friends to lovers. It was great to see them grow together. I’m also glad that Kat was able to make peace with her past.
The narrators did such a wonderful job bringing the characters to life and telling their story. They made it so easy to follow along and immerse yourself into the story.
I received a review copy of this audiobook. Thank you Netgalley and the author. These words are my own.
I’M OBSESSED!!! Beachy Keen was summer romance bliss! I loved every single second of this book and was here for all the island billionaire vibes.
Noah was incredible and I loved how he understood Cat and what she needed and his mega crush on her was so stinkin cute! That’s some serious book boyfriend material right there!
I got a kick out of all of Cat’s nicknames for Noah. And I love that Noah is the only one to use Cat’s full name. The two of them were fire together and I was here for every one of their interactions.
There were so many amazing scenes, where the chemistry was sizzling off the page. The whole photo shoot and sand castle building were my favorite. I couldn’t stop smiling. And did someone say BLACKBERRIES?! Swoon!
Kasey’s writing has a cozy, calm feeling about it. Even though I know it’s not effortless, it feels that way because the plot and the romance just flows so naturally and it makes it all so enjoyable! Be ready to binge this one because you are not going to want to put it down!
The audio was AMAZING! The duet narration with the male narrator reading every MMC quote and the female narrator doing all the women’s voices was such a lovely experience. I loved how immersive and natural it felt.
Romance: Kisses
All the stars for this funny, endearing billionaire romance! I loved returning to Sunset Harbor for Cat’s & Noah’s story. Their romance had so many things I loved, a darling billionaire cinnamon roll hero, a funny mistaken remeet cute, long time secret crush, boss/employee forbidden romance, sizzling attraction, & a sweet closed door romance that I’ll love reading again & again!
Catalina Keene’s struggling to make ends meet at her & her uncle’s B&B. When she finds an exorbitant hospital bill her uncle’s kept hidden from her, she worries they’ll lose their beloved home & business. Just when circumstances seem impossible, she receives a job offer from the last person she expects, the uber rich billionaire Noah Belacourt. Cat has nothing but contempt for the Belacourts after Olive Belacourt bullied her in jr. high, but as she gets to know Noah, she finds a kind, thoughtful person who makes her question all her preconceived notions.
Even billionaires have challenges. Noah Belacourt’s returned to his family’s resort on Sunset Harbor Island after suffering a mental breakdown in front of his company’s investors. Hoping to get some much needed relaxation and a handle on his anxiety, he doesn’t expect to rescue the woman he’s had a secret crush on for years. Cat’s his kryptonite and when he discovers her financial difficulties, he finds a way to help her without damaging her pride by offering her a PA position. Suddenly all his dreams are coming true. Though a nerd at heart, this handsome hottie definitely gets under Cat’s skin. With her calming presence, he also finds the strength to overcome his family’s drama.
I loved Cat and Noah! There were definitely some Pride and Prejudice vibes on Cat’s part. She has some understandable anger towards the Belacourts and her prejudice runs deep. I loved all her cute billionaire nicknames for Noah like Bruce Wayne, Darcy, Elon, etc. Noah’s such a sweetheart! I enjoyed the way he was so aware of Cat and her needs. I also loved how his mental health struggles were portrayed in such a realistic, thoughtful way. The forbidden aspect to their boss/employee relationship was so fun in how they both struggled to not cross any lines.
There were so many things I loved:
La Croix water (I’m with Noah on this one!)
Photo shoot
Peanut the dog
First kiss
Blackberry picking
Nursing back to health
LOTR marathon
Nods to The Notebook
Private beach
Secret lair
I listened to the audiobook version & loved it! It’s a duet narration & I enjoyed both narrators. Duet narration is no much fun & brings the story to a whole new level. The narrators did a fantastic job bringing all the characters to life & I thoroughly loved listening.
This is definitely a mustread, perfect summer romcom! Can I just say how amazing this Falling For Summer series is. Each book has been an instant favorite and I can’t wait for more. I received an advanced complimentary from the author. All opinions are my own and voluntarily provided.

Disclaimer: My brain is mush after reading this book. I loved it so much that I have a serious book hangover here.
~Happy sigh~ Noah is the sweetest. I don't usually go for billionaire romances, but I knew I could trust Kasey Stockton, and I wasn't wrong. Noah is sweet, gentle, understanding, and knows boundaries. And I just love him! So does Cat, whom I also adored. But can she trust him? Therein lies the question...
As for the narrators, they did a wonderful job bringing these characters to life!
