I’M OBSESSED!!! Beachy Keen was summer romance bliss! I loved every single second of this book and was here for all the island billionaire vibes.

Noah was incredible and I loved how he understood Cat and what she needed and his mega crush on her was so stinkin cute! That’s some serious book boyfriend material right there!

I got a kick out of all of Cat’s nicknames for Noah. And I love that Noah is the only one to use Cat’s full name. The two of them were fire together and I was here for every one of their interactions.

There were so many amazing scenes, where the chemistry was sizzling off the page. The whole photo shoot and sand castle building were my favorite. I couldn’t stop smiling. And did someone say BLACKBERRIES?! Swoon!

Kasey’s writing has a cozy, calm feeling about it. Even though I know it’s not effortless, it feels that way because the plot and the romance just flows so naturally and it makes it all so enjoyable! Be ready to binge this one because you are not going to want to put it down!

The audio was AMAZING! The duet narration with the male narrator reading every MMC quote and the female narrator doing all the women’s voices was such a lovely experience. I loved how immersive and natural it felt.

Romance: Kisses

All the stars for this funny, endearing billionaire romance! I loved returning to Sunset Harbor for Cat’s & Noah’s story. Their romance had so many things I loved, a darling billionaire cinnamon roll hero, a funny mistaken remeet cute, long time secret crush, boss/employee forbidden romance, sizzling attraction, & a sweet closed door romance that I’ll love reading again & again!

Catalina Keene’s struggling to make ends meet at her & her uncle’s B&B. When she finds an exorbitant hospital bill her uncle’s kept hidden from her, she worries they’ll lose their beloved home & business. Just when circumstances seem impossible, she receives a job offer from the last person she expects, the uber rich billionaire Noah Belacourt. Cat has nothing but contempt for the Belacourts after Olive Belacourt bullied her in jr. high, but as she gets to know Noah, she finds a kind, thoughtful person who makes her question all her preconceived notions.

Even billionaires have challenges. Noah Belacourt’s returned to his family’s resort on Sunset Harbor Island after suffering a mental breakdown in front of his company’s investors. Hoping to get some much needed relaxation and a handle on his anxiety, he doesn’t expect to rescue the woman he’s had a secret crush on for years. Cat’s his kryptonite and when he discovers her financial difficulties, he finds a way to help her without damaging her pride by offering her a PA position. Suddenly all his dreams are coming true. Though a nerd at heart, this handsome hottie definitely gets under Cat’s skin. With her calming presence, he also finds the strength to overcome his family’s drama.

I loved Cat and Noah! There were definitely some Pride and Prejudice vibes on Cat’s part. She has some understandable anger towards the Belacourts and her prejudice runs deep. I loved all her cute billionaire nicknames for Noah like Bruce Wayne, Darcy, Elon, etc. Noah’s such a sweetheart! I enjoyed the way he was so aware of Cat and her needs. I also loved how his mental health struggles were portrayed in such a realistic, thoughtful way. The forbidden aspect to their boss/employee relationship was so fun in how they both struggled to not cross any lines.

There were so many things I loved:

La Croix water (I’m with Noah on this one!)
Photo shoot
Peanut the dog
First kiss
Blackberry picking
Nursing back to health
LOTR marathon
Nods to The Notebook
Private beach
Secret lair

I listened to the audiobook version & loved it! It’s a duet narration & I enjoyed both narrators. Duet narration is no much fun & brings the story to a whole new level. The narrators did a fantastic job bringing all the characters to life & I thoroughly loved listening.

This is definitely a mustread, perfect summer romcom! Can I just say how amazing this Falling For Summer series is. Each book has been an instant favorite and I can’t wait for more. I received an advanced complimentary from the author. All opinions are my own and voluntarily provided.

Disclaimer: My brain is mush after reading this book. I loved it so much that I have a serious book hangover here.

~Happy sigh~ Noah is the sweetest. I don't usually go for billionaire romances, but I knew I could trust Kasey Stockton, and I wasn't wrong. Noah is sweet, gentle, understanding, and knows boundaries. And I just love him! So does Cat, whom I also adored. But can she trust him? Therein lies the question...

As for the narrators, they did a wonderful job bringing these characters to life!

~I was given a complimentary copy of this book. No positive review was required, and all opinions are my own.~

“He has it all, except the one thing money can’t buy: her heart.”

**What I loved about this book:
I loved the long term secret crush trope in this book and the mental health rep as well. And the chemistry between Noah and Cat jumped off the pages!! Another great book in this series!

This romance starts with a financial imbalance between Noah and Cat and I liked the way he wanted to help her yet preserve her dignity at the same time. Cat can be feisty, as she's had to be, and the way she learns to trust Noah is very sweet. It's a closed door romance, but the chemistry is there and I enjoyed listening to their love story narrated by Rylee Kuberra and John Rogers.

I absolutely loved this second installment in the “Falling for Summer” series. I’m already so in love with Sunset Harbour.
The dual/duet narration was great (loved how the man did all the male voices and vice versa. I always think I’m not into billionaires, but then I end up love the tender, down-to-earth moments. Cat was a great heroine to root for and I love the “second chance” do-over aspect of realizing your initial impressions of someone are totally wrong. Lots of hilarious moments and great secondary characters. Kasey’s writing is equal parts funny and sweet. It’s a perfect beach read (and listen)!

So this was almost the same as the first book. They’re both obsessed with each other but neither knows of the other’s feelings. Tropes were slightly different.
I did feel like this one flowed a lot easier than the first book. It does take place at the same time. There’s more crossover in this one though.
These have been fun and easy summer reads. When you’re looking for something quick I’d give these a try.
Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape media for this audio copy.

This is the summer billionaire romance I didn't know I needed!!! Absolutely loved the duet narration with two fabulous narrators!!

And be still my summer loving hopeless romantic heart! Is there anything more adorable than a billionaire hero with a heart of gold who is also nerdy, struggles with anxiety, and has carried a crush on a girl since he was 15? I think not!!

This book was flirty and fun as all get out but also had some deeper themes from Cat's past that really brought some depth to the story and the characters and made for some very tender moments.

I also loved the way the author handled Noah's anxiety - with understanding and gentleness and grace - and the positive light she showed getting help for mental health challenges.

The connection between Noah and Cat was chemistry in action and oh, all the sweet things he did for her melted my heart! I could not get enough of them and will be shipping them until the end of time.

This is one summer romance you DO NOT want to miss!!!

Such a sweet summer romance! If you're looking for the perfect read for summer, this is it! No spice, lots of summer fun, and a sorta second chance romance. Loved every minute of it!

Loved the narrators too!

I loved this sweet & swoony story! Beachy Keen is book two in the multi-author Falling for Summer series and can completely stand on its own or be enjoyed as part of the series. I listened to the audio book and it was wonderfully narrated in duet narration. Duet narration is where the female narrator reads every female line in the book and the male narrator reads every male line. I thought the narrators were perfect for the characters and I so enjoyed listening to this story.

I really liked both of these main characters. It was heartwarming to see the way Noah viewed Cat, even from the very beginning of the book. You find out that he liked her even in high school and always wished he could date her. He didn’t understand why she disliked him so much both back then and when they reconnected when the story began.

I loved the way Cat began to see that she had some very wrong impressions about the type of man Noah was. It was so fun to see these two begin to bond as friends and the struggle that Noah had with his feelings for Cat while she was his employee. I loved this story from start to finish and thought it was a great balance of Cat and Noah dealing with the reality of his celebrity and billionaire status, while also falling for each other as the people that they truly were.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

This is officially my perfect beach read recommendation! The characters are raw and real. The plot is awesome. And the romance is scrumptious! Everyone that I’ve already recommended it to has adored it as well! It’s seriously just the sweetest!
I also, really loved the narrators! They did such an excellent job that I got completely lost in the book.

Beachy Keen was such an incredible experience!! Kasey Stockton knows how to write a swoony romance, be it Historical or Contemporary, and this one didn't disappoint! Noah and Cat* had my heart from the start, and I loved how perfect they were for each other. Their support for and understanding of each other was the best, and I loved how their preconceived notions started to change as they were forced to work together due to their arrangement. The chemistry was the best, 🔥 and I loved the nicknames and ALL the banter!! Seriously, chef's kiss! I loved the sense of community (especially with Otto and Cat's friends) as well as how layered and real all the characters felt. Can I move to Sunset Harbor? Asking for a friend 😉

As for the narrators, they deserve all the stars on their own. This was my first listening to a dual narration and now I wish I could experience every audiobook this way! They not only brought Noah and Cat's voices to life, but got all the inflections spot on, as well as had a great range of voices for the rest of the cast, while at the same delivering on the gasps, laughs, and deepening voices #swoon I can't recommend them enough!!

Overall, this was a great read that features a beautiful community, a swoony romance, deals beautifully with the themes of mental health and the loss of parents, and I can't wait to grab the next one and dive again into the world of Sunset Harbor. ~ 5 stars

Billionaire romances, I mean, can they be real?

This book is fabulous. I tis a real escape from the world and well written. It was not just a bit of fluff, the characters had depth of emotion and while being fun, funny and a slightly unbelievable topic, the characters felt real.

An average story with a below average audio. Duet narration was NOT the right way to go here, it was extremely distracting. The story of a childhood crush thwarted by bullying is so awkward to listen to. There are way too many moments where the grown male lead is thinking romantically about the teenage version of the female lead. The way it's written comes across creepy and weird. I had to tap out at around the 60% mark when he was thinking sexy thoughts about how to comfort her regarding her past trauma of being bullied.

What a fun little beach read! This is my first book by this author and you can see how she is able to incorporate characters from previous books and weave in the ones for her upcoming books.

There was not a character in here I didn’t like, even Olive was able to redeem herself! Noah is warm and fuzzy and so damn smitten. Cat carries the weight of the world on her shoulder, which is so relatable, and she is determined to do anything for the people she loves.

The relationship between Cat and Noah evolves pretty naturally, but I did feel like Noah saying “I love you” so soon after they got together was a little jarring.

Overall, the perfect cutesy read to toss in your beach bag!

Look, I usually am a fan of celebrity romances but I don’t normally pick of billionaire type stories and after reading Beachy Keen I’m starting to think I should!

This story is cute and light and all the good things an easy beach read should be. I would happily take this book on vacation and ignore everyone just to fall in love with Noah Belacourt. Because that man 👏🏻👏🏻 I’m so glad finally saw the light, because I was going to start shaking her if she didn’t.
Fun and flirty, I loved being on the island with Cat and Noah. Also, I’m slightly partial to workplace romance…. So Noah being Cat’s boss? Yes. Please. You’ve got me there, Kasey. ;)

Thank you netgalley for the ALC, all thoughts are my own ♥️

This is a standalone, but part of an interconnected series of seven books from the Falling for Summer Series!

I loved the writing. The reasoning and tension was valid and you could feel it between the characters! This was such a happy and sweet summer read!
This is a cupcake sweet book, no spicy scenes.
Other things I loved…..
☀️He falls first and harder
🌊Billionaire
☀️She sees him as an enemy
🌊Anxiety rep
☀️Takes are of him when he’s sick
🌊Boss/ assistant

3.5 out of 5 stars.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. Thank you, to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the opportunity to read this book as an audiobook!

LOVE LOVE LOVED the narrators for this book. They made the story come to life and their voices were just perfect for this story!

Kasey Stockton is an author that if I see a book out for her, I will read it. Her books have the best vacation/beachy vibes and her romance stories are so much fun! The mental health representation was definitely an added factor that led to me enjoying this book.

I do not know why, but I am always a sucker for billionaire romances and then you add in a beachy location and I. AM. SOLD.

Make sure you grab this read for the summer; I read the majority of it on vacation (in Florida, no less) and it was perfect for lounging and swooning.

It’s not a secret that I’m in love with the Falling for Summer series and Rylee Kuberra and John Rogers did a fantastic job of bringing this one to life in a dual narration.

Noah and Cat come from vastly different worlds–one with money and one without–but their common thread is a childhood on the island of Sunset Harbor. The meet cute is one to remember.

I love how Stockton develops such great characters and there is definitely more than meets the eye with them. Struggles are a part of life and while the hardships are represented, they are delivered in a way that doesn’t feel heavy–the light, romcom vibes are sweet and strong, striking the perfect balance.

I loved reliving this beachy story and falling all over again.
