I really enjoyed listening to this audio book. The story was sweet and cute but the narrators were awesome! I love listening to audiobooks that have two narrators that read their parts. It makes the story feel more alive.

This was absolutely adorable. Just because you’re uber-wealthy doesn’t mean life is all sunshine and roses. We all have baggage. Cat lost her parents to the ocean as a young girl and has spent her life living in fear of more loss. Her uncle stepped up and they have an amazing relationship, but she discovers some secrets he has been keeping and she wants desperately to help. Then she bumps into Noah, the sibling of the woman who bullied her and made her life a living nightmare through middle/high school. That they were incredibly wealthy meant that post school meeting, nothing happened as what were the parents going to do? take away her Amex black card? Their baby was perfect and they were mostly absentee parents. Noah is on sort of break as he is suffering from crippling anxiety that is rearing its ugly head. He’s always had to put on a show for the world to see and be the best version of himself so never learned how to deal with and metabolize his feelings. He was the “big brother” to his whiny needy sister while navigating his nutty parents until he sort of snaps and with no choice, finally addresses his issues with the help of a good therapist. Cat is his childhood crush that he never got over. He is determined to help her and to hopefully make her more than an employee and friend. People can and do grow up, mature(some of them that is), ask for apologies and accept them without losing themselves. The story is well written, sweet, honest, kind, and has a joyful happily ever after ending for everyone.

Struggling to save her family’s bed & breakfast, Cat reluctantly accepts a job as personal assistant to Noah, a wealthy billionaire suffering from anxiety. Despite her initial reservations about Noah and his entitled family, she begins to see him in a new light. As they work together, Cat must confront her past and decide if she’s willing to risk her heart for a chance at a brighter future.

This sweet, slow-burn, second-chance romance is a heartwarming summer read. The characters are complex and relatable. The story is interesting and well-paced. I enjoyed the audiobook narration.

Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.

I absolutely LOVED this book! This was a super cute quirky romance with such lovable characters. The MMC and FMC had such great chemistry and I didn’t want to put the book down. It’s set in a beach town and Beachy Keen is book 2 of a series. I’m looking forward to going back and reading book 1 and then continuing the rest of the series. Narrators Rylee Kuberra and John Rogers made this book so much fun. Highly recommend!

Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for an audio ARC of this book.

This was a perfect summer read! It was fun and light, with hints of seriousness. We have rich guy Noah, and island girl Cat, who used to know each other and are now reuniting. Cat cleans houses, including Noah’s parent’s house. Noah discovers that Cat and her uncle need money to keep the family bed and breakfast afloat, so he figures that hiring her to be his personal assistant and paying her way more than appropriate can help her out without just giving her money. Of course, sparks fly and they have to figure out if a billionaire and an island girl can make it work.

While the narrators did a really good job and it was duet narration (love it!), there was a noticeable difference in quality. The male narrator’s audio sounded a bit tinny or muffled, I’m not sure.

I would recommend this book and would like to continue in the series.

This book is part of the Falling for Summer series. The series consists of seven interconnected books from seven different rom-com authors. They all take place on one small island and can be read in any order.

If you are looking for a lighthearted, fun beach read—this would be a great book to pick up or listen to. I listened to this as an audio book and the narrators were great, I especially liked Noah’s voice. This is a billionaire slow-burn romance with lots of family drama. This was a sweet book and I look forward to reading the others in the series.

Cat Keene's world is upended when she discovers a final notice on a medical bill, revealing secrets and financial woes. Enter Noah Belacourt, a billionaire with anxiety on a forced sabbatical in Sunset Harbor. Despite past biases, Cat becomes Noah's assistant, challenging her preconceptions and igniting hope for saving her beloved bed and breakfast.

This was a very sweet & simple summer romcom that gives you all the warm, sunny feels I liked the characters and thought the plot was well developed. The only reason I’m not obsessed with Noah & Cat is that I didn’t overly connect with the romantic gestures. They were cute, but nothing out as incredibly special. If you’re looking for a billionaire romance set in a glowing beach town, you’ll breeze through Noah & Cat’s summer of work 😉

Who would have thought these micro tropes would be so quirky & fun?

And guys, this audiobook has duet narration !! The narrators go back and forth in the same chapter- there is no man trying to have a female voice 🙌🏻😂 Thank you @dreamscape_media @netgalley for the ALC 🌴

Beachy Keen was my first Kasey Stockton book, and now my TBR is even longer as I will definitely be reading more from her backlist after this 💚 The second book in the Falling For Summer series, Beachy Keen is a sweet and swoony follow-up to the first book, Summer Ever After by Kortney Keisel. I love returning to a location I already know and characters I’ve already been introduced to, and Noah and Cat’s story was just as tension-filled as Walker and Jane’s story. The banter was fiery, and I especially enjoyed the dual POV (which tends to be my favorite) in this story so we could see the reasons Cat dislikes Noah from the start, as well as allowing us a look into Noah’s mind and his perspective. I also really appreciated the portrayal of Noah’s battle with anxiety. Often anxiety is attributed to the female main character in romance books, but to see a strong male character struggling was a wonderful shift and felt like an honest representation. I’ve been so impressed with the first two books of the Falling For Summer series that I can’t wait to read the rest! 📚

I listened to the audiobook, and this was the first one I’ve listened to with duet narration (I had to google the name for it 😆) where all the male lines are narrated by the male voice regardless of whose POV the chapter belongs to. And same for all the female lines. I hope more authors choose to have their books narrated this way. It really made the listening experience that much better ❤️

Read Beachy Keen if you like:

- Billionaire boss romance
- Secret crush
- Sizzling kisses
- Sick bed scene
- Nicknames 😆

Intimacy: Kisses only

Content Considerations: Death of a loved one (past), anxiety representation

Thank you, Kasey Stockton. Beachy Keene is such a cute audio book! The audio book is narrated by two talented narrators - Rylee Kuberra and John Rogers. They both do a terrific job narrating their characters POV.

Noah Belacourt is a billionaire who is taking a break from his high powered job thanks to a bought of crippling anxiety. Noah heads back Sunset Harbor, the island he grew up on. While in SH, Noah runs into the woman he had a crush on as a teen.

Cat Keene has lived on Sunset Harbor her entire life, and as an adult, she is running her family’s bed and breakfast and cleaning homes, trying to make enough money to keep everything afloat. Cat harbors a grudge against the Belacourt family for multiple reasons, including Olive Belacourt, her best friend turned nemesis and the fact that they own a successful hotel on Sunset Harbor.

Cat is caught off guard when she receives notice that her uncle owes almost 6-figures for medical expenses. She is worried for her uncles health as well as worried about the lovely hood of the B&B.

Knowing about Cat’s expenses, Noah convinces his long-ago crush to work for him as a personal assistant and offers an outrageous daily wage.

This is a sweet, innocent story. I enjoyed the characters’ innocence. Zero steam factor. 100% cute factor. These characters really care about each other and are all in. Love it!

This book is #2 in the Falling for Summer Series, and can be read with the other books in the series, but also on its own. I chose the audiobook for this one, and really enjoyed the story. Beachy Keen is a clean rom-com that will have you laughing out loud, and it is the perfect read for Summer. It has the “rich billionaire” trope, and themes of found family, friendship, romance, and opposites attract. You will find yourself binge reading this book and needing to read the rest in this series!

Even though it is a light hearted book, Kasey Stockton’s characters deal with issues like grief and anxiety, but the author does it in a way that normalizes those issues by talking about ways to cope such as therapy, medications, and having supportive people in their lives. The main characters work through those tough things on their own first, so that when we see them come together they are in a good place.

A note about the audiobook: As someone who listens to books at more than 1X speed, I did find that the speed of the female voice was faster than the male voice and had to adjust accordingly when each was speaking.

I want to thank NetGalley and Kasey Stockton for the complimentary copy of this audiobook. I was not required to provide a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine alone.

Beachy Keen is part of the Falling for Summer series which takes place on a fictional island off the coast of Florida. Sunset Harbor is the charming island and an integral part of the story. Cat and Noah are the romance couple of my dreams and this book is an absolute delight! I adored these characters and their sweet hearts, and both the female and male narrators did a fantastic job bringing them to life. This is a beachy closed-door romance, and although it's part of a series, it works perfectly as a standalone. Thank you to Dreamscape Media, Kasey Stockton and NetGalley for the ALC of this book in exchange for my honest opinion. Loved it!

Beachy Keen is a novel about not judging a book by the cover even if the cover is really good looking. Noah is the rich guy from a local rich family who built upon the rich company a success. Cat, the local gall who is juggling many jobs to help her Uncle pay off debts to keep the Bed and Breakfast they own. Cat's uncle raised her when she lost her parents to a water accident. Noah's parents have decided to get a divorce and are not nice with each other.. Noah Belacourt’s returned to his family’s resort on Sunset Harbor Island after suffering a mental breakdown in front of his company’s investors. Hoping to get some much needed relaxation and a handle on his anxiety, he doesn’t expect to rescue the woman he’s had a secret crush on for years. Cat’s his kryptonite and when he discovers her financial difficulties, he finds a way to help her without damaging her pride by offering her a PA position. I really enjoyed the banter between the couple, the names Cat used for Noah as well as Noah being the only one to use Cat's full name. These nuances really give the characters personality and make them likable. I am impressed with Kasey Stockton's writing and will be seeking out more books written by this author. Thanks to Netgalley, the publisher and the author.

This book was just delightful! Very time I pick up a book written by Kasey I know I’m going to love it. These characters were well rounded and they had such great chemistry. They both had lots of tough things they had to work through. Cat was bullied as a youth and has lots of childhood trauma to work through and Noah get anxiety and panic attacks. Both of these issues were addressed but it didn’t overwhelm and drag the story down. This was part of a series- it could be read as a stand-alone but I’m really invested in the side characters so I want to read the other books as well. This book was engaging and hard to put down. I also got a copy of this on audio- it was amazing! The narrators were great and the story was easy to follow. I love when they have a male and a female narrator- it makes listening to the story so much better.

Say Hello to my newest favorite Kasey Stockton book; Beachy Keen was ADORABLE! I loved this book.
Right from the start, I knew Noah was going to be a new fictional book boyfriend for me. He is the epitome of the cinnamon roll hero and I loved his good GOOD heart.

Cat carries a chip on her shoulder toward Noah simply because of his last name, family, and bank account. When some unexpected medical bills pop up, she swallows some of her pride to work as a PA for Noah. I love how Noah was so good at reading Cat and recognizing how to help her while meeting her where she was at and what she needed. They both experienced some good character growth in their individual story arcs and I like how that also grew them as a couple.

Something I really enjoyed in this story was a bit of a reversal on the hero/heroine rolls. Noah may have been wealthy and seemingly put together, but he struggled greatly with anxiety and I thought the author so genuinely and kindly addressed this part of his character and really represented it well. For being a billionaire, Noah was incredibly relatable in his down-to-earth way. I just loved him and Cat so much.

I had a chance to listen to the audiobook version of this book. The story is told in a duet fashion with the dual POV as well. I loved the two narrators together; they had chemistry as they brought Cat and Noah to life. I also felt like their voices matched what I pictured for Noah and Cat and represented their ages and maturity well. I will definitely listen to this audiobook again and I highly recommend the audio version.
This is a clean romance that will make you smile and believe in happily ever after.

This book had me hooked from the very beginning! I was instantly invested in the characters and their lives! I loved Cat and her determination to do anything she could to help her uncle pay his medical bills. Noah had such a sweet heart from the beginning. Cat had never given him much of a chance since his sister bullied her in school. But I loved that she got to know the real him and look past her previous judgements. I’m a sucker for longtime crushes finally getting a chance and this one did it so perfectly!! I also really appreciate an aniexty rep! So relatable!

This was a solid read! I’m not familiar with this series, but it definitely stands alone. I will definitely check out more from this beach series though, because the Bellacourt family has me hooked!

I loved how well the author built anticipation between Noah and Cat. It never felt contrived or forced. The love story will give you all of the feels and pull at your heartstrings, while also forcing you to pull your hair out because you want the main characters to be making out.

The story also includes excellent anxiety representation, giving readers a glimpse into panic attacks, how they affect train of thought, and how to soothe them.

I only knocked a star off because I didn’t love the bullied sister storyline. That felt like an additive that I was missing key information on. Maybe this is something that happens, or is further explained, in another book?

But if you’re looking for a sweet, beachy, closed-door romance that will leave you swooning, this is it! Add it to your TBR.

I listened to the audiobook for this one and thought the dual narration was well done. I don't always love dual narrators simply because I usually prefer one over the other and then there is a let down each time it switches to the one I don't like as well but in this book I liked them both. Well done.

Though a light read, this book does deal with some difficult topics. Cat was bullied in middle school and has to face her abuser. And Noah and Cat both have anxiety issues. Noah's was at more of a crisis level but both were legit problems that needed to be dealt with. Since I'm currently dealing with anxiety I appreciated how the author handled the topic. Noah's parents were in the middle of a very unpleasant divorce and Cat lost both her parents, so yeah, I think there were a lot of sensitive elements in the book.

I liked the main characters and the story and thought the narrators enhanced the story as well.

No sex, language or violence
*I received a complimentary audiobook through NetGalley and voluntarily chose to review it.

Beachy Keen is part of the Falling for Summer series but will work just fine as a standalone. The story takes place mostly on the fictional island of Sunset Harbor that’s off the coast of Florida.

Cat is a local on the island. She has no intentions of ever leaving. She lost her parents when she was young and her uncle raised her. Her uncle was sick with cancer but thankfully beat it, but now the medical bills are piling up.

Noah is also a local from a rich family but he is usually not on the island. He is back on the island due to panic attacks requiring him to take a break from work. Noah finds out Cat needs money so he hires her as his assistant.

Cat and Noah have a history and I loved learning more about the two of them and their families. I never knew there was a subgenre of romance books about millionaires. This made me want to check out more books like this.

I love that even though Noah came from a family that’s rich, powerful, and famous he was still always down to earth and would always put Cat first.

This is the perfect book to read while relaxing on a beach this summer.
