I stayed up WAYYYYYYYYY to late to finish this and it wrapped up all the loose ends I was screeching about throughout the series. This series felt like The Magicians meets Captain Planet meets ACOTAR with a dash of The Hunger Games and it was a WILD, EPIC, RIDE.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. What a truly beautiful and magnificent read! This is the final book of the Artefacts of Ouranos series. I’m so very sad to say good bye to these unforgettable characters and their world. This final installment did not disappoint! I appreciated the fact that this story left no rock unturned, no deed left unpunished. The story of Lor has captivated my heart through all of these books. The loss she has endured, the courage she kept, and the strength both her body and soul released was amazing. She will do anything for those she loves, even if that means going all the way into the Underworld. Who will stand by her? Who will lose themselves in the final tasks of the Artefacts? How far will Lor go to be with Nadir? This story is magical, action packed, hits you with the spice, and will keep you on the edge until the end. Have some tissues at your side as well… you may just need them. Preorder now! This book is available 11-26-24. #book #booklover #bookstagram #books #bookseries #booksbooksbooks #booknerd #bookworms #reading #read #review #bookreview #bookreviews #bookreviewer #arc #bookarc #nishatuli #netgalley #foreverpublishing
Amazing conclusion to one of my favorite series. The pacing was great and all the little plot points came together. I love Nisha J. Tuli’s writing style and her characters. I can’t wait to see what see comes up with next. I’m
This was the perfect ending to an amazing series! I genuinely cried because it was over. The callbacks to the other books, just perfection! The wrap up for these characters who have lived rent free in my mind for a year was absolute perfection.
Thank you for this Nisha, it was an adventure I'll cherish forever! 😭💕
This was an amazing conclusion to a series which I loved so much! There were so many points in this book where I had absolutely no idea what was going to happen next and it kept me engaged the whole time. As it neared the end I was worried that it would be rushed but I was so wrong! The way each character’s story ends is perfect and we are left with the finality of those choices but also the possibility of what is to come in their future. I’m kind of sad that there will be no more new stories of Lor and Nadir and the gang. But hey, maybe I’ll just go back and read it all again.
Thank you Nisha and NetGalley for allowing me the absolute pleasure of getting to read this early!!!
I am so sad that this series is over, but so happy that everything ties up so nicely. It was a little too easy maybe? This book feels a little rushed. Everything is straight to the point and resolved a little too quickly I think. I think we could have split this into 2 books and taken our time with this huge feats that Lor has to go through. Like, the search for the Arks and the bonding be one section, have that book end on a cliffhanger, and then finish with the lay book about the Underworld adventures and I would’ve loved to see more into the rebuilding of the Heart Queendom. I would read 8 more books about this world honestly ❤️
Tale of the Heart Queen
Wow what an ending to an amazing series. The Artefacts of Ouranos is easily a top favorite series with an addictive romance and action packed storyline.
I loved this book the most because it had some amazing full circle moments and tied off all the storylines with an amazing bow.
I loved getting the different point of views with Lor, Nadir, Gabriel and King Rion. You learn so much about the cause of all of his actions in this book, and I am so glad for that. The action was nonstop and the plot twists hit left and right. There was so much heartbreak and loss in this book. It was the spiciest book of the series, but the spicy scenes were in all the right places. There was also a very good ending, and I am quite sad to leave this world. Nisha did an amazing job from start to finish. Excellent book, 5 stars!!
4.5 stars rounded up!
I can't believe this story is over, but I couldn't think of a better or more satisfying ending. This book was full of so many twists and turns that I was on the edge of my seat this whole book. There were some moments (Particularly at the 80% mark) where I felt like there was no way this book was going to wrap up all of the loose ends, but I should have just had faith. Every question I had was answered and all of the storylines were wrapped up very nicely.
The artefacts of Ouranos series hold such a special place in my heart! This is such a wonderful fantasy romance series. It is exciting and fast paced, and I am heartbroken that I will never be able to read this series again for the first time.
This book did have a slightly different feel than the other books in this series, but I think that is because this is the end. We have a couple that has been through the ringer and has come out on the other side of things in a happy and healthy relationship with a lot of communicating. I love their relationship, but I think the tiniest bit of the magic was lost because the tension and pining and angst was so well done in the first three books, and this book didn't have that. With how the third book of this series ended, I thought we would get at least a little bit of that tension and angst, but the characters communicated and trusted each other so things were resolved very quickly. That's not a bad thing, but it just didn't have that same feeling as the first three books.
This was the best ending this series could have had and I will never stop thinking about this story and these characters.
Thank you Nisha for writing this series, and thank you to Forever publishing for letting me read this story early.
The final installment of the romantasy series. The first 2 books were terrific and this one is wonderful as well. Lor runs from the Aurora king and she must choose to fight for Nadir and her country....
It's exciting and fast-paced. Love the action and the suspense. Terrific romance of course. Still love Lor and how brave she is. It's a perfect ending to the series....
Thanks to the publisher for the arc.
I will be writing more of a review when the book releases in November. Right now it is too soon and I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone. What I can say is this book is everything I expected it to be and then some for the last book in the series. I loved it. I wish we didn’t have to leave these characters but this series will definitely be a reread for me.
Tale of the Heart Queen by Nisha J. Tuli
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I started this series last year when I first got back into reading and have now devoured most of Tuli’s books! Tale of the Heart Queen was a perfect ending to fantastic series! I loved everything about this series right from the start and I was not disappointed in this final installment! Lor and Nadir are one of my all time favorite couples and I enjoyed everything about their story!
This series really has everything you could want! Love, adventure, redemption, revenge, high stakes trials, awesome side characters, and I Absolutely loved the little Easter Egg from book 1 too!
This is instantly going on my re-read list and I am so grateful that I found this series.
I can’t wait to see what the author does next!
Nisha cannot write a bad book! This was the perfect ending to this series with so many unexpected twists and turns!! Thank you a million times for this ARC!
There's always a certain level of apprehension when one comes to the end of a series. You're never ready to let go, will all the loose ends be tied up, what's to become of these characters that you have found yourself so invested in?
With Tale of the Heart Queen, all my apprehensions were assuaged. It was EVERYTHING I was hoping for, and I have to say Nadir's steadfast loyalty to Lor was the most attractive thing I have seen in a long time. Where can I find one like that?!
In all seriousness, Tale of the Heart Queen was every bit as captivating as the rest of the series, and then some. I was happy for the closure I had with my favorite characters, wound up with a plethora of quotes that will live rent free in my mind for the foreseeable future, and relished the results of the machinations of the villains. In the end it was completely satisfying, and guaranteed that the Artefacts of Ouranos is a series that I will definitely reread in the future.
I don’t even know where to begin, the ending to this series was perfection. Lor and Nadir are just so good together, and we get to see Lors magic grow. The character growth for these two as well was amazing to see, between book 2 to book 4 so much growth and change. A lot of loose ends are tied up in this book! And honestly Nisha could’ve made it 300 pages longer and I’d still be asking for more, I love these characters so much! While a lot of loose ends are tied up, there’s also quite a few twists and turns that I did not expect! The pacing of this book was perfect, honestly this entire book was a masterpiece and I’m so happy to have been able to read it early!
Thank you so so much Dana from Forever & the Forever team for inviting me to receive this advanced copy!
I’m so grateful the wait between the ending of book three and this one wasn’t too long because that was quite the cliffhanger.
My Thoughts:
It’s hard to review series without giving away spoilers from previous books, but this was a beautiful conclusion to such a fun series. The romance was beautiful. I loved the characters. And was pleasantly surprised by a certain redemption arc. There weee fun call-backs to book one, and I just adored how things came full circle.
Beautiful job Nisha. Now on to binge her other series. 😆
I really love this series and I think this was a great book to end on. I am sad to be leaving all these characters behind but I am excited to see what this author will do next. I love that the author uses multiple POVs so you really get to experience the entire story. there were so many twists in this book I was constantly on the edge of my seat.
Phe. Nom. En. Al!
I adored this finale. The final contribution to the series was so well done, I don't think I could have asked for anything more...other than more books!
This book is a big one, but it didn't feel like it was nearly 700 pages because of the way in which Nisha writes with such description and grace. I could see each and every sentence play out in my brain, and I know no adaptation can do it justice, (but I am eager and hopeful someone tries!)
Thank you so much for concluding this series in such a beautiful way! I can't stop thinking about this book and the series overall, and it is one I will recommend for years to come.
I think this was a great ending to this series and very happy with how all the character arcs wrapped up. I think Lor and Nadir are at their best in this book, they are both finally on the same page and it makes the romance even sweeter especially the part of the book when they weren't together. This book also has multiple povs and timelines so we get to see the backstories of characters, gods, and family members. This book definitely had plot and twists and we get a happy ending but it takes a while to get there. The spice and romance in this book were great i loved Nadir and Lor and how great they are together. I think this is the spiciest and the scenes were hot. Overall this was good and I would love to see if any spin-offs come from this world. Thank you Forever for this arc for an honest review.
I am HEARTBROKEN that this is the end. This was the ending everyone deserved. Prepare to have your heart ripped out (again) and pieced back together. There is astonishing growth in writing and just everything. I am so sad that it's over.
3.5 stars rounded up to 4
Well I’m sad that this series is over, it’s been such a ride. And I thought this ending really did the series justice. I have to admit though, it took a LONG time for me to get into it. I kind of felt like Lor and Nadir spent so much time apart in the beginning and it got a little boring. But… it really picked up and the ending was so perfect.
Notes: there are so many characters, and not a lot of backstory. I didn’t re-read the other three books before starting this and I have my regrets since I spent like the first 30% of the book confused. I felt like this book really needed a glossary 🤣. I also really have appreciated some of NJTs other books having a recap in the beginning, and I feel this book would have been really well served by having something like that. It’s just a lot to try to remember.
Also I felt like there were some lost opportunities. Like why give Willow magic and then just have nothing come of it? Womp womp. And why have a relationship blossoming between Hylene and Gabriel that goes nowhere? Speaking of Gabriel, that whole character and his motivations are entirely confusing to me. I feel we could have done without his and Rion’s POVs honestly.
But don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed it a lot and I’m glad to give this series a sweet send off 🫡 .
