This is how you end a series.

Heart pounding adventure, characters staying true to their roots, this book was just a joy to read.

Honestly no notes; the best end to a series I’ve read in a long time.

Emotional, powerful and amazing ending to a fantastic series. Nisha J. Tuli, took us on another rollercoaster of emotions, but gave one of the best endings I’ve ever read.

The found family in this series was so powerful. By the end I just wanted everything and more for all these characters because they gave up so much for each other throughout the series. I truly hold a place in my heart for each character.

Nadir and Lor have my whole heart, and I won’t say anything more on that for spoiler reasons.

Nisha made me fall in love from sentence 1 of Trial of the Sun Queen and cry all the way to the last page of Tale of the Heart Queen.

I absolutely love Nisha J. Tuli's books! And this was no different...what a brilliant ending! Nadir amd Lor is just perfection. Nisha is a wonderful author and knows how to keep her readers hooked. She has become one of my favorite authors for South Asian fantasy books. I loved how all questions from the series was answered and everything was neatly tied up in the end. I highly recommend this series for anyone who enjoys NA spicy fantasy books, especially for fans of Sarah J. Maas or Rebecca Yarros. This one would be right up their alley! 5/5 stars :)

What I loved…
- the 🌶️ in all Nisha J. Tuli’s books is just so good.
- Nadir + Lor Perfection
- found family
- easy to binge
- a very satisfying wrap up
- high stakes and adventure
- lots of personal growth and character development

What I didn’t love…
- the writing can be a bit tell not show at times.

Thank you NetGalley and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for sending this book (eARC) for review consideration. All opinions are my own.

An absolutely stunning end to a PHENOMENAL series. Nisha is a genius. She is a goddess. She is such an amazing author and I am so eternally grateful to have read this as an ARC. this series has a chokehold on me and I have and will continue recommending this to everyone I know.

Well, I thoroughly enjoyed the final book of this series, and this series in general. The Tale of the Heart Queen is the final book in this series, but I kinda hope she does some spin off series with some of these characters. :):) I miss them already.

With that being said, this is what I loved about this book: (without giving specific spoilers away)

-Nisha does an amazing job making you feel all of the emotions the characters do during their journey. Even though there was A LOT going on during this book, with multiple POVs, I was glad Nisha labeled all of the chapters with who was speaking, where they where currently located, and what timeline they were in.

-The book picks up right where we left Lor and Nadir after the fate of the sun king.

-The spice is free flowing in this book, and doesn't make you want to bang your head against the wall waiting for them to just do it lol (book 2 just about 'ruined' me)

-Mostly all of the questions from the first 3 books gets answered

-Lot's of character growth for everyone

-Humor, jokes, seriousness, love, forgiveness, acceptance, justice, friendships, family, and sacrifice.

Thank you NetGalley and Nisha for the ARC of this book, and I'm so glad I got to read it!!

Chef's Kiss!! Where to begin,,,? This book was the perfect conclusion to the series, I couldn't have asked for anything better, it had all the tropes a girl could ask for, and tickled all the senses. The writing was perfectly done, i love the different POV's, they add so much depth to the plot, and you truly felt like you were living this out. I think the world building in this series was spot on, and painted a picture for the reader. Such a wonderful story, and message. I was sucked in from the moment I started this series, i was new to this author and now I'm trying to get everything read that she has wrote, beyond amazing. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a Fantasy Romance, heck to just anyone... This was a 5 star read for me, and I was sad the story was over. READ THIS SERIES!

I wish I could give this book so many more stars than just 5!!

I have loved this series so much and have been hooked since day one when I started the first book. I read through all of the books so fast I just could never put them down. I really wanted the final book to last so I tried not to devour it and it was difficult of course. Nisha has a way to draw you in and put you into her stories. When you read her books you can’t help but imagine that you are there. I will always remember Lor and Nadir’s story and also the rest of the characters. This was a book not about just their romance but also how everyone else got the HEA. My favorite part was seeing how each character started to heal and begin their new lives. I’m so sad to see this series end but also happy for these characters. This is a series I will definitely keep coming back to read again and again. Thank you Nisha for creating such a beautiful world and bringing us along.

To say I am a huge fan of the ‘Artefacts of Ouranos’ would be an understatement. Knowing that ‘Tale of the Heart Queen’ is the last book in this series, I took my time to savour it. I am sad it is over - if you haven’t started this series yet add it to your TBR list.

Lor’s internal thoughts in this one had be laughing. Now that her relationship with Nadir has developed, their dynamic was everything. He was supportive and empowered her to take her rightful place.

The amount of males that cried in this novel let me know that fae masculinity is not a fragile thing. They are able to express their emotions and if felt healthy.

‘Tale of the Heart Queen’ had a few surprises and some moving farewells. I think it was the perfect ending to a series that I will keep on recommending to romantasy readers. Lor and Nadir are sticking with me - I am sad it is over, but excited for other readers that are just starting this series.

Thank you NetGalley and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for sending this book for review consideration.

Was it a good wrap up to a very epic romantasy? Yeah. Was I wowed? Kinda.
I’m not sure if it’s because I haven’t read the third one in a while, or I’ve read other fantasy series in between, but I got the story lines confused until I reached probably the middle of this book. There seemed to be a lot going on at the same time and then again not really at all? I didn’t feel as emotionally connected to them as I did in the first three books, it’s almost like “I know they’ll get their HEA, so this doesn’t really matter”.
My favorite scene had to be Nadir and Anya saying goodbye to their mom, that one pulled on my heartstrings. It was such a sad and lovely conclusion to that part of the story!
Nadir also feels a bit cheesy in this one. Like we get he’s head over heels for Lor, but in this book he just kinda seemed like a lost puppy dog following her around.
Also while we’re on the topic of Lor, she got control over her magic after the bond was complete… doesn’t feel like she “earned” it.
Every problem just seemed to have a convenient solution, ie Lor’s inability to control her magic, them needing a high priestess and looky here, we have a secret undercover one under our noses all along.
I did enjoy the book, I just wish it felt more triumphant to be done with it.

Thanks to @readforeverpub and @netgalley for the #gifted copy of this book.

Thoughts: Ahhh this was such a journey!! There was so much that they all had to endure and overcome that at times I thought what else could go wrong? But this ending gave these characters that I love such a wonderful wrap-up to their stories. I love Nadir and Lor, especially through everything they have had to face throughout this series. Nisha did such a wonderful job weaving all the storylines and POVs together to create this ending. I am sad to be leaving this world and characters behind.... However, this has become one of my favorite series, so I will certainly be revisiting my favorite characters once again.

The series culminates in an epic finale, expertly tying up all loose ends, courtesy of Nisha’s masterful storytelling. This book took me on an emotional roller coaster of feelings, evoking tears, laughter, and moments of utter astonishment. Lor’s devotion to her loved ones knows no bounds, and throughout her journey, she undergoes remarkable personal development. The narrative’s use of multiple perspectives provides deeper insight into the characters.I appreciate having the opportunity to read the advance reader copy. This series ranks in my top five favorite romantic fantasy reads.

Thank you for the opportunity to read this! I was so hesitant to read as I knew it was coming to an end.
I was so mad half way thru the book at the Gods. I wanted to throw the book. Luckily I didn't :)
Nisha you are a gem amongst all romantasy writers! As always Thank you.
Please devour this series everyone.

I absolutely loved this book! I read it in one setting because it was so good and I could not get enough of the characters. I really loved the characters the author created and there journey that they took. The story was fast paced but detailed where I felt immersed but not bored. I will be recommending this book to all of my family and friends.

Wow! What a trip this one was! I honestly did not know what was going to happen next. Like, what a rollercoaster! I was here for it, though! Lor and Nadir had quite the journey to their happy ending but I so enjoyed their story. It was beautifully done and it did not disappoint. I also enjoyed Gabriel’s POV and the side story of Atlas, Tyr, and Aphelion. If I could pick one word to sum up this book, I would say EXCITING! It was a fantastic conclusion to an awesome romantasy series! Thank you so much to the author, the publisher, and NetGalley for this amazing ARC!

After the heartbreaking cliffhanger of the last book I dove right in as soon as I got this

I loved the conclusion. Nisha J Tuli set herself up for a fairly impossible task having to wrap up so much and she does it all. Some things wrapped up better than others, but everything got its ending and that was very satisfying.

Lor is a completely different person at the end of this series as she is at the start. Through each book you can see how she’s slowly evolving to get to where she is on the final page.

Nisha J Tuli brings you on some expected quests but then she pushes you off a cliff. She breaks your heart as she’s making it pound with anxiety. In the best way.

This was an extremely solid series.

This was absolutely my favorite book in this series! There are the classic Multiple perspectives and timelines, which at times were a bit confusing and jumped around more than I’d prefer. The ending is stellar - both resolving conflicts and character arcs without feeling trite and unearned.
