I absolutely loved this book! It was incredible ending to a series that has captured my heart. I am so sad that the story is over but I will definitely be rereading them again.

This 4th book had everything you could want. Action, spice, and insane plot twists! I loved getting the chapters from Rion’s POV as well. It really added some depth to his character.

This was a great ending to the series. There were some full circle moments and it was all nicely tied up at the end.

I just want to hold Lor and Nadir safe and not let anything bad happen to them ever again. They were put into the wringer throughout this series and while it would have broken anyone else, I feel like it made them stronger.

By the end of the series, the found family was incredible. Especially they are coming together to help one another.

WHAT. AN. ENDING!

tl;dr - Book 4 redeemed an otherwise "okay" series for me.

Truth: This series has not been in my top fantasy romance series picks BUT this book changed that for me. I didn't enjoy the first two books of the series so I had been procrastinating reading Book 3. I do love a good completed series so when I saw this ARC available, I requested it. And I'm so glad I did.

🌶️ The romance turned up from Book 3 onwards and the main character's relationships really begin to blossom. Our Morally Grey™️ MMC makes much more sense and "Tale of the Heart Queen" really ties everything in a nice little ribbon for the reader.

⚔️ I didn't love the pacing and plot lines in the first 2 books but "Tale of the Heart Queen" was phenomenal. I found myself unable to put the book down and unable to guess what was coming next (which says a lot considering the amount of fantasy romance I read and is also a sign of a good book for my own rating purposes.)

✨ The magic finally finally made sense to me. For some reason, my brain couldn't tie everything together earlier on in the series but, again, SO much in this final book made me go "AHHHHH! I get it now."

truly loved this series but felt a little let down by this one. It felt anticlimactic for the final installment in this series but I’m so happy I read it. The resolution was great since we were promised a happily ever after. Nadir might be my top romantasy mmc to date. I loved the found family and the magic system in this whole series was great. I felt like we weren’t going to get resolution on some things but it was fully wrapped up in the end.

I feel like a bit of a downer here but I was kind of underwhelmed by this book. It was LOOOONG and it took until about 80% for anything worthwhile to happen. It felt like a lot of words and a lot of people and a lot of things happening at all times. The part in the underworld was so bizarre I was legit saying wtf is happening right now. I did love Lor through it all though. She was the most fearless and selfless FMC I’ve had the pleasure of reading about and I loved seeing her journey through all 4 books. Her and Nadir are absolute goals and her love for her friends and family knows no bounds. Even though this book was very much long winded it did all come together nicely - it just took a while to get there. I’d give it a solid 3.5.

This final book by Nisha Tulli was incredible, perhaps my favorite in the series, which is rare for me. In this last chapter, Lor’s journey becomes even more personal as she fights not only for her crown, lands, but for Nadir. I’ve always enjoyed Lor as a main character, and in this book, her growth is incredible. She transforms far beyond the woman we met in book one, fully embodying the strength and wisdom of a queen. Tulli's writing is immersive, especially in how she crafted the antagonists. I found myself genuinely moved by their stories, a testament to her skill in creating complex, multidimensional characters who make even their darkest choices feel heartbreakingly real at times (Although obviously doesn't excuse them!). I really enjoyed how Tulli wrapped everything up and I look forward to reading more of their work.
If you're thinking of picking up this series do it! You won't regret it.

I don't think Tuli could have ended this series any better
everything from the plot to the spice was exactly what I wanted and have come to expect from Tuli

I've loved this series so much and reading this final installment was so bittersweet.

this is absolutely a must read series for fantasy girlies

I am not ready for this story and universe to be over. I had the best time getting to know all these characters and their stories. I personally enjoyed how everything came to and end. I loved being reminded how this story all started and what they went through to get where they are today. The love story was my favorite, of course. Lor and Nadir were absolutely amazing to read about. The enemies to lovers was perfection. I usually am not a fan of the first book of a series not having the main love interest super involved in the story, but Nisha changed my mind on that completely. I think it added to my feelings for the story even more because it was not rushed and everything molded together wonderfully. I ADORE Tyr and Gabriel. A little piece of my heart wishes that they worked out and maybe we would be able to see a little bit of their story. Possibly a novella involving the time where Gabriel thought they could be something more? Hmm hmm hmm...
Nisha J. Tuli, the writer that you are. I am excited for everyone else to read the ending to this story.

This is the final book in the "Artefacts of Ouranos" series and it was such a good ending for an incredible series.

It was jammed packed but we got some redemption, some revenge, multiple HEAs and as always, lots of steam 🔥

And we even got a second deadly trial! What a treat 🗡️

Wow, what an unforgettable finale to an incredible series! Nisha pulls no punches when it comes to the emotional weight in *Tale of the Heart Queen,* and the journey is absolutely worth every twist and turn. This book grabs your heart and refuses to let go, making it a truly powerful read.

Lor remains such an extraordinary character—one I have loved fiercely throughout this series. She faces so much in this final installment, which says a lot considering everything she’s already endured. Time and again, she’s pushed to the very edge, her strength tested in ways that would break most people. Her moments of vulnerability, especially when she admits, “I’m scared,” are gut-wrenching. You can feel her fear and desperation, and each confession feels like a punch to the heart. Yet Lor’s love—for her mate Nadir, her siblings, her friends, and even her world—fuels her, making her resilient beyond reason. She pushes through, defying the odds, because that love gives her the strength to make the impossible possible.

And Nadir? His devotion to Lor is everything. His love and loyalty run so deep that he’ll go to any lengths to protect her, to stand beside her through the darkest moments. He’s unwavering, all in, and there’s something magnetic about a man with that kind of fierce love. When he, too, is scared beyond reason, his love for Lor keeps him moving forward, undeterred. He’s truly her ride-or-die, and I can’t help but adore him for it.

Then there’s Gabriel. Oh I love him so much! He’s this unintentionally hilarious, grumpy man with a story that broke me. His journey is almost as intense as Lor’s and Nadir’s, and the struggles he faces feel endless. His experiences are heartbreaking, and I found myself shedding real tears for him, feeling every ounce of his pain and resilience.

*Tale of the Heart Queen* is a highly emotional read that packs so much into its pages. The story weaves action, romance, and heartfelt connections into something thrilling and deeply satisfying. There’s a lot happening for each major character, and I love that Nisha takes the time to bring closure to each of their journeys. The action is intense and gripping, the romance is beautifully tender and heart-melting, and the ending is both cathartic and joyous, leaving a sense of peace and completion. This series has been phenomenal from start to finish—an absolute must-read for any romantasy lover.

I loved this whole series! Lor and Nadir are such a fantastic couple to follow. As a last book it felt jam packed and a bit too rushed like she was trying to fit way too much in. I also felt like everything wrapped up almost too nicely. Characters who have had the same personality the entire series suddenly changing for the better at the end. Overall it was fun to read, it was exciting, had such good relationship aspects and left you feeling good!

I appreciate Nisha J. Tuli's brave decision to end this series with four books when it seems like so many romantasy series just go on... forever. I did feel like this was a solid, satisfying ending to this series, though it was still a bit on the long side for me. If you liked the first three books in the series, I think you'll love this one, especially if you're interested in the lore/mythology elements of this world that Tuli has created. I think that comparisons to the Throne of Glass series are pretty apt (from what I remember of those books, it has been a minute for me), but this series clocks in at far fewer pages, which made the whole narrative feel tighter. I look forward to reading more from Tuli!

The most AMAZING ending to a series I have ever read!

What?! This book gave me everything I could have ever wanted and more! The journey we went on was truly incredible, and I couldn’t have asked for a better ending. I was completely obsessed with the different storylines, and how they all connected. Jumping between all of them wasn’t confusing, and everything made perfect sense. I don’t know whose POV was my favorite, kidding Gabriel was definitely my favorite. I love that sarcastic mouth of his. And I felt bad/a soft spot for Rion?! Wasn’t expecting that at all, but kiddos Ms. Tuli because you made the impossible possible. I got teary at the end because of course I didn’t want this series to end. I may just jump right back in!

Thank you Forever Publishing and Netgalley for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

✨” I take her chin between my fingers and kiss her deeply, reminding her just how much I love her. How this thing I feel for her extends straight through the earth to a place with no end. If fate is intent on separating us, I’d be happy to spend countless years—lifetimes if I had to— waiting for her because what we have is inescapable. Inevitable. As constant as the moon and starts”.✨

✨”Maybe even the worst of us can still find redemption when faced with the final seconds of our mortality”.✨

💭Thoughts💭
What an ending 😮‍💨 This book beautifully wraps up everything in the Artefacts Of Ouranos series. I am so sad this series has now come to an end but it resolved everything perfectly in my opinion! Who doesn’t love a happy ending 🥹 I am thrilled Lor and Nadir end up together and that Lor no longer has to be the goddess (bless Tyr’s beautiful heart!) I love how everyone truly does get a happy ending in the book (everyone who deserves it)

I will say it absolutely gutted me when Rion apologizes to Nadir! It had me all in my feels!

Also absolutely died of laughter over the soap appearance ! I am so glad the soap was literally dropped in this book! ICONIC!!

Thank you so much Nisha for giving me the opportunity to review this in advance! It did not disappoint and now let the reading slump commence after this stellar book 🥲🤍

Thank you so much to @nishajtwrites and NetGalley for the ARC of Tale of the Heart Queen! I have been so excited to read this book and finish out the series ever since I read the first book, Trial of the Sun Queen, earlier this year. Nisha is such a beautiful writer and the stories she brings to the page are brilliant. I adore each and every character she creates and I'm so happy with how this saga ended! This is the fourth and final book in the Artefacts of Ouranos series so you DO need to read books 1-3 before jumping into this one. 10/10 recommend because you will not be disappointed! Lor is such a strong, bad-ass FMC and her love of her family/home is so beautiful. Nadir is just ❤️‍🔥. He will ~literally~ k!ll for the people he loves and is undeniably one of my favorite MMC's in the romantasy genre!

This final book (along with all of the others!) is full of drama, twists and turns, love (I'd say 🌶️🌶️🌶️), fated mates, lots of action, found family, and multiple POV!

This has quickly become one of my favorite romantasies. It has some familiar aspects (similar to The Hunger Games or ACOTAR,) but felt new and exciting all the same. Such a fun romantic fantasy.

I am sad that this series is over. I loved everything about this world. The side characters were so lovable and funny and this book wraps everything up so perfectly… even though I wouldn’t complain with more Lor and Nadir.
Im going to need this series to get some more hype so we get more fanart. Lor is one of my favorite fmc to date and I need more.

The amazing, amazing conclusion to the Artefactsof Ouranos quartet, I feel like screaming (so I'm gonna!) about how perfect and thrilling and wholesome this last book was! ❤️

I've loved this quartet right from the start, and it kept getting better and better with each book. The fated mates, enemies to lovers is one of the best slow-burn, wholesome romance out there 😭 I was dying after book 3's cliffhanger, and this book resolved it so frickin well. Big moments, grand gestures, desperate reunions, this book had it all 🥲

Also the plot?? It was developed and resolved so well?? It's pure genius.

I'm sad that this series is over, but the ending was so perfect that I'm not sad at all 😭 I would absolutely love it if the author decided to go back and do stories for the secondary characters (maybe one with the Woodlands?? MAYBE) and also show a very happy Lor and Nadir living their best hea 😭

-- ty to the author, the publisher and Netgalley for an advanced copy!

Absolutely amazing ending to an incredible series!!!! This final book has had it all; character arcs, closure, love, problem solving, and just enough of a happy ending to be satisfying without being cheesy. The adventure was not lacking as well as the excitement. I loved how things went down between all the rulers and the Heart Queen in the end. Absolutely wonder ending to a fantastic book.
