I have been wanting to read one of these graphic novels because they look so adorably cute. The story is sweet and I love the characters but I felt like it jumped around a lot and was hodge podge telling pieces of a story. I could have also been more confused because I step in at this volume instead of at the beginnin.
Volume three of Boyfriends just keeps up the momentum of the first two, carrying with it adorable illustrations and more interactions between all the characters.
Thank you Webtoon & Wattpad for the galley of Boyfriends Vol. 3.
I've been reading Boyfriends since it became a Webtoon Original webcomic, so, it was no surprise I absolutely loved Volume 3. I remember reading these episodes as they were posted and feeling the queer and trans joy. These episodes were posted while I was still in the closet and a "very good ally" and seeing mature and healthy queer relationships helped me become comfortable in my queer identity. Revisiting these episodes in print was liberating as an out and proud queer woman. Having stories like Boyfriends is incredibly important for queer and trans people to feel safe and validated. The episodes in Volume 3 handle challenges of relationships, identity and life in a very mature way. I love the discussions on balance, types of care and support and how to give and receive in a relationship.
Thank you refrainbow for creating a safe space for me and other queer and trans readers.

I really love this series with my whole chest! There's some really important, amazing discussions that happen throughout this series especially when it pertains to polyamorous relationships. This is probably my favorite volume in the whole series because we get to see a little more backstory of Goth and Prep, and we really get to see all four guys. I feel like we really get to see the characters grow a lot in their relationship in this volume, too. Overall, I don't want to say too much about this volume because it is the third volume. However, you can read the whole series on Webtoons if you're eager to what happens next!
All thoughts, feelings, experiences, and opinions are honest and my own.
I will always love this Webtoon not only because it's entertaining, but that it's always a great positive example of polyamory when they are so few out there. All the characters are adorable, well developed, and above all else; supportive of each other.
Once more with even -more- feeling!
I really love this series. The art is so cute and colorful and makes me so happy to look at! It really has brightened up all of these rainy days lately. The character designs are so fun. I know I have already gushed about the art of this series, but I will always gush and gush about good art.
One of my favorite things about this series beyond the art is the relationship dynamics. There is nothing that irritates me more than a lack of communication or miscommunication in love/relationship stories, and this series seems to strive to have their characters practice good and healthy communication. They actually talk things out with one another. It might take a bit, but there is never that sense of frustration that comes with the whole trope of "this entire conflict could have been resolved by a two minute conversation." There was also a bit of hurt/comfort which always warms my heart in the best way.
I did accidentally skip a volume because I was so excited to request this one from Netgalley, but I still thoroughly enjoyed this story. I am definitely going to pick up the second volume as soon as I can. There were some characters new to me in this volume that I really liked, who brought extra depth to the story. While I do love the main four and their relationship, it is nice to see them having friends and lives outside of their romantic relationship.
All in all, this is another great edition to the Boyfriends series, and I can't wait for more from this author! Thanks so much to Netgalley and Webtoon Unscrolled for a digital ARC!
I loves these boys! I fall more and more in love with them with each volume of this graphic novel. These guys are so darn cute and I just want to cuddle then and snuggle them. They are adorable together and I love that each volume also gets just a little bit more cheeky. Plus the art in this is absolutely adorable! I could read endless volumes of these boyfriends!
The boys are all grown up! With prep and goth graduating college, the four boyfriends decide to move in together! This book focuses on their transition to being a polycule outside of college in a way that is incredibly cute, fun and a little sexy too!
I love when books talk about the uncertainty of growing up. Goth’s struggle with wondering what to do after college felt incredibly real and the support the others’ gave him was beautiful. The trans representation was incredible, as always and the author also did a great job showing effective communication in a relationship! It’s so nice to have a book that is so unabashedly queer!
Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with the eARC, but it did not affect my review in any way!
Another good read following the boyfriends. Such nice cozy reads when you just need something quick and fun.
Thank you to Net Galley for this ARC and amazing book!
Boyfriends. is an absolute delight. The artwork is colorful and expressive, perfectly capturing the heartwarming, humorous moments between the characters. I agree and recommend this book to anyone looking for a fun, sweet read. The dynamics of Prep, Goth, Jock, and Nerd as they navigate their polyamorous relationship are filled with vulnerability, love, and growth. Though this graphic looks for younger audiences it's more geared towards adults and some might consider one of the characters childish for his age.
This series continues to charm and delight. It's just so cute! I had a great time following our four favorite boys and their friends as they handle some life rituals, such as graduating college and getting a new place. I can't wait to see where the series goes next. As aways, the art was adorable and fantastic.
There was not enough plot for me, but it is a cute romance for readers who like small slice of life snippets.
Sweet, Fluffy, Cuteness that's this graphic novel in a nutshell and a absolutely love it. Poly relationships don't get a lot of attention so seeing this graphic novel give them such holsome representation is a cherry on top.
Love this book!!! The series has been great and although I'm sad at the though of the almost indefinite hiatus the author has put it on, it makes the entire series all the more dear to me
Big fan of the WEBTOON! I love the relationship between the four mains of our polycule. Goth is near and dear to my heart. Having read this on WEBTOON I kinda already knew where it was going but it was still as fun as I remember. If you like queer poly representation pick this up.
Okay so it should be established that I am always here for another volume of Boyfriends! It’s a little silly but a lot of fun and also just such a joy to read a book that is so undeniably queer. It’s a polyamorous relationship between 4 queer guys (at least one of whom is trans), and the side characters are 4 women in a polyamorous relationship, also with at least one trans character. I also loved how this volume was purely exploring the relationship between all the boyfriends, from seemingly silly stuff like figuring out a four-way kiss, to moving in with each other. I had such a fun time reading and it’s always so easy to re-immerse myself in their world and enjoy it! I’m also super excited to see what happens in the next volume when all the boyfriends are living together and moving past college!
Also, if it wasn’t already clear, I highly recommend checking out the series and catching up to some great stories!
The most wholesome foursome is back with all new domestic adventures full of complicated feelings they'll have to confront if they wish to succeed in their relationship. This time, their struggles centered around the theme of "what do I bring into this relationship?" and "am I enough?" These anxious feelings crop up in each of them in very different ways--like not wanting to be a burden to the others, feeling like they're taking advantage if they don't do just as much as the others, relying too much on others, and so on. At the core, their insecurities are about self-esteem/self-worth, and I love the gentle way each one learns that a) those intrusive dark thoughts are not reality, and b) that they can rely on each other to remind themselves of this. Supportive boyfriend for the win! Not a page goes by that doesn't make you root for them. Once they figure out something is bothering one of their boyfriends, the jump into action and become excellent listeners and communicators. Which is great since there's a huge step in their relationship--a level up, as Nerd would probably say--towards the end of the volume, that just made me excited for what's to come next.
I was very excited for volume 3 of this series as I was immediately hooked from book 1, however, I found this volume to be a bit of a let down. Unlike the other 2 volumes, this one seemed a bit disjointed at times and there were several moments where I simply felt like I was missing something between tracks. It was a bit odd and I found it harder to get into this volume and to really care about what was happening. I still liked this volume and will continue to read the series, however, this volume was 4 stars rather than 5 since it did seem like it wasn't entirely cohesive.
This series is just so charming and cute. I continue to love the art style and the characters. I always love getting to see more about everybody and I even love the slightly sadder and more serious moments. The author does a great job of making the story have some sadness while not letting it bog down what is essentially a super happy and fluffy feel good story. But the darker aspects help give it some depth and weight. Overall this series is just so cute and continues to be so much fun. I feel like I could keep reading about these four forever. Can't wait for more volumes!
Thank you to the publisher for providing this eARC via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Awww this series continues to be so soft and sweet! Their open communication and constant support of each other is just so wholesome. And the polyam and queer rep continues to be amazing!
This particular volume was so sweet and made me cry when a character was struggling with not feeling like enough. I really appreciate books that can have me laughing one minute and teary the next.
