I just love seeing how their relationship is growing and developing into something more concrete. Their everyday interactions are just so fun and entertaining. It's gives the world an inside view of a polyamorous lifestyle, showing the ups and downs. Obviously this is aimed towards a younger crowd and generation, lots of different terms and slang than older readers are used to. However, even millennials like myself can enjoy reading it.

I always look forward to the adorable Boyfriends! The story is sweet, the art cute and the representation is much appreciated. Every volume gives more peeks into the life of this poly relationship and how they make it work. This series is always the perfect mix of wholesome and spice that I love. I will reccomended this as one of my favorite webtoons series every time!

I will say that this was so cute and the art was as well but the story wasn't for me, I found it to be a cozy romance and definitely loved the Representation.

Wow!! Another great read!! This volume touched a lot on the boys insecurities and what they "bring" to the relationship. It was really great to see them discuss everything as a group but also individually when the others weren't around. I feel like I understand them all a lot better because of this volume! I can't wait for the next one.

Shenanigans continue in the third volume of Boyfriends. by refrainbow. While the boys are still silly and sweet and meme-worthy, refrainbow is beginning to add more serious notes to this episodic story as well, from not-so-sunny backstories for Prep and Goth to questions about the future. After all, they can't stay at the pastel bubble of university forever--what's next for this beloved comedic polycule?

While this series is mainly meant for light entertainment and cozy, positive queer vibes, it does also make a point to discuss more serious topics too, such as healthy relationship boundaries, and facing unknowns together. This volume also gets a little risque, showing that the boys are becoming more and more comfortable with each other. The girls, too, continue to outshine the boys with their accomplishments, but remain close friends through everything.

At this point, Boyfriends. is a solid comfort series for me, and I will continue to enjoy every new volume that comes out. Refrainbow has previously stated that he has also done works in other genres, so I will likely add these to my TBR to experience the genre contrast. In the meantime, I'll look forward to Boyfriends., Volume 4!

Readers who enjoy this series may also like: Heartstopper by Alice Oseman, To the Stars and Back by Peglo, Muted by Miranda Mundt, High Class Homos by Momozerii, and My Giant Nerd Boyfriend by fishball. (All of these are available on Webtoon, as well.)

i'm a long time fan of this artist and his works, and have been following this digitally for a long time <3 such a sweet group of characters, with more serious scenes and also lighthearted moments to enjoy. the characters are drawn in this cute style but go through very realistic and relatable troubles that just make you care for them even more.

This volume continues to impress, I loved the art and the story and am so invested in all of these characters now!

Boyfriends continues to be a cute, slice of life about a queer polycule of mixed LGBTQIA+ identities. If readers enjoyed the earlier two volumes, they are likely to enjoy this one. However, I gave this one a 4 out of 5 because I didn't find the storylines as engaging as the ones in the prior two volumes.

I have been wanting to read one of these graphic novels because they look so adorably cute. The story is sweet and I love the characters but I felt like it jumped around a lot and was hodge podge telling pieces of a story. I could have also been more confused because I step in at this volume instead of at the beginnin.

Volume three of Boyfriends just keeps up the momentum of the first two, carrying with it adorable illustrations and more interactions between all the characters.

Thank you Webtoon & Wattpad for the galley of Boyfriends Vol. 3.

I've been reading Boyfriends since it became a Webtoon Original webcomic, so, it was no surprise I absolutely loved Volume 3. I remember reading these episodes as they were posted and feeling the queer and trans joy. These episodes were posted while I was still in the closet and a "very good ally" and seeing mature and healthy queer relationships helped me become comfortable in my queer identity. Revisiting these episodes in print was liberating as an out and proud queer woman. Having stories like Boyfriends is incredibly important for queer and trans people to feel safe and validated. The episodes in Volume 3 handle challenges of relationships, identity and life in a very mature way. I love the discussions on balance, types of care and support and how to give and receive in a relationship.

Thank you refrainbow for creating a safe space for me and other queer and trans readers.

✨ Volume One ★★★★★
✨ Volume Two ★★★★★

I really love this series with my whole chest! There's some really important, amazing discussions that happen throughout this series especially when it pertains to polyamorous relationships. This is probably my favorite volume in the whole series because we get to see a little more backstory of Goth and Prep, and we really get to see all four guys. I feel like we really get to see the characters grow a lot in their relationship in this volume, too. Overall, I don't want to say too much about this volume because it is the third volume. However, you can read the whole series on Webtoons if you're eager to what happens next!

All thoughts, feelings, experiences, and opinions are honest and my own.

I will always love this Webtoon not only because it's entertaining, but that it's always a great positive example of polyamory when they are so few out there. All the characters are adorable, well developed, and above all else; supportive of each other.

Once more with even -more- feeling!

I really love this series. The art is so cute and colorful and makes me so happy to look at! It really has brightened up all of these rainy days lately. The character designs are so fun. I know I have already gushed about the art of this series, but I will always gush and gush about good art.

One of my favorite things about this series beyond the art is the relationship dynamics. There is nothing that irritates me more than a lack of communication or miscommunication in love/relationship stories, and this series seems to strive to have their characters practice good and healthy communication. They actually talk things out with one another. It might take a bit, but there is never that sense of frustration that comes with the whole trope of "this entire conflict could have been resolved by a two minute conversation." There was also a bit of hurt/comfort which always warms my heart in the best way.

I did accidentally skip a volume because I was so excited to request this one from Netgalley, but I still thoroughly enjoyed this story. I am definitely going to pick up the second volume as soon as I can. There were some characters new to me in this volume that I really liked, who brought extra depth to the story. While I do love the main four and their relationship, it is nice to see them having friends and lives outside of their romantic relationship.

All in all, this is another great edition to the Boyfriends series, and I can't wait for more from this author! Thanks so much to Netgalley and Webtoon Unscrolled for a digital ARC!

I loves these boys! I fall more and more in love with them with each volume of this graphic novel. These guys are so darn cute and I just want to cuddle then and snuggle them. They are adorable together and I love that each volume also gets just a little bit more cheeky. Plus the art in this is absolutely adorable! I could read endless volumes of these boyfriends!

The boys are all grown up! With prep and goth graduating college, the four boyfriends decide to move in together! This book focuses on their transition to being a polycule outside of college in a way that is incredibly cute, fun and a little sexy too!

I love when books talk about the uncertainty of growing up. Goth’s struggle with wondering what to do after college felt incredibly real and the support the others’ gave him was beautiful. The trans representation was incredible, as always and the author also did a great job showing effective communication in a relationship! It’s so nice to have a book that is so unabashedly queer!

Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with the eARC, but it did not affect my review in any way!

Thank you to Net Galley for this ARC and amazing book!

Boyfriends. is an absolute delight. The artwork is colorful and expressive, perfectly capturing the heartwarming, humorous moments between the characters. I agree and recommend this book to anyone looking for a fun, sweet read. The dynamics of Prep, Goth, Jock, and Nerd as they navigate their polyamorous relationship are filled with vulnerability, love, and growth. Though this graphic looks for younger audiences it's more geared towards adults and some might consider one of the characters childish for his age.

This series continues to charm and delight. It's just so cute! I had a great time following our four favorite boys and their friends as they handle some life rituals, such as graduating college and getting a new place. I can't wait to see where the series goes next. As aways, the art was adorable and fantastic.

There was not enough plot for me, but it is a cute romance for readers who like small slice of life snippets.
