This cute book takes the reader through the Big Apple to count various items. Starting with one Empire State Building, to four fire engines at One World Trade. And ends with ten rainbow sneakers. It's a fun book to share New York City with young children

This is cute for young babies! Esp for parents who live in or are from NYC. The pictures are engaging, and it's easy to count for each page. 4 star read.

A beautiful board book for readers 1-3, teaching them to count using things that reflect the Big Apple. I think the language is a bit elevated for the youngest readers, but slightly older kids will love it.

Super cute! I really enjoyed these illustrations. My kids rarely ever go to a big city, and they really liked asking questions about NYC.

What a fun learn to count book with a New York City theme. It shows everything from the subway to One Trade Plaza. Even throws in a taxi and pizza. These are all some of the wonderful things about New York City. This book made me miss it as I spent a lot of my childhood and teen years visiting there. Wonderful book if you live there or not.

For people with connections to NYC, this book will likely resonate. The text supports building vocabulary with young babies around numeracy, colors, shapes, and other fun things like places in NYC. While the book is about counting, the authors built in a lot of other concepts such as color words, and talking about events and places in NYC. The book is about 20 pages which is perfect for reading to babies. The pictures are cute and reinforce the text well. Overall this would make a cute gift book for anyone having a baby and want a connection to NYC.

My kids love New York stuff and although they liked this and it had beautiful illustrations some of the language was a bit niche for them so I had to do a lot of explaining as we went through - schmer, lox, sneakerheads etc I enjoyed it though.

Fun counting book with New York city views, even including bagels with shmears. So, what's not to like? New York centric, but of course, it's called Let's Count New York City.

This is a fun, colorful book for toddlers that takes them on a counting tour of New York City. I love books that encourage kids to really pay attention to their surroundings, whether it's the colorful shoes or the taxis driving by. This is an adorable book.

Although the artwork in this wonderful little board book is clean and engaging, the rhyme is a little bit forced, making this book best for a child and caregiver to explore one-on-one rather than as a story time read aloud or book for a group. Filled with phrases and moments that are sure to engage any New Yorker, this board book might make a nice addition to a welcome basket or library collection focused on new arrivals to the City but could prove less interesting to children living in other parts of the country.

Very cute count to ten book featuring things commonly seen in New York. Great way to introduce young kids to the concept of counting and New York City. Fun eye-catching illustrations as well.

Great book! I loved how the counting in this book was very heavily tailored to New York, each number being something fairly unique to New York. The illustrations were accurate to the words, and they also captured the wonder and distinctiveness of New York. This will be perfect for young kids learning to count everywhere - whether they live in NY or not. The rhymes also worked well in couplets (good choice) and helped the story to flow at a comfortable pace.
Well done!

Count to ten in this adorable, rhyming counting book featuring New York City. It is so cute! The illustrations include everything from the Empire State Building to bagels.

This book will probably be loved as much by adults as by the kids for whom it is intended. It offers a fun (and sometimes funny) glimpse of the city.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Familius Books for this title. All opinions are my own.
