Emily is ready to divorce her husband, Teddy, and then she gets derailed by an obvious stalker. There are signs of someone breaking into her home, reading her emails, and watching her with surveillance added to her home. She obviously suspects her soon-to-be-ex, but could it be her new fling, William? This quick read will have you thinking is Emily paranoid, who can be trusted, and who is in rue danger.
I enjoyed the fast pace, quick read!
I throughly enjoyed If only you knew, it was very character driven which is a big aspect for me that i always look out for. I found myself hooked in the book very quickly unable to put it down. My only complaint is that the ending felt very rushed but other than that it was a very enjoyable read. 3.5 star
A tumultuous thriller detailing the difficulties Emily is facing as she tries to extricate herself from her abusive ex-husband. This book overall was an easy read with several shocking moments, but I felt it lacked the traditional thriller vibe. It felt more like a domestic drama that detailed significant difficulties Emily went through as she navigated through a messy divorce. The story itself was not difficult to read, was overall well written with good character development.
Thank you NetGalley for this ARC, all opinions are my own
This was a fantastic read from start to finish like omg could not put down.
It's a must read read you will not be disappointed
I'd like to preface my review with the thought that this book could be a trigger. Read some reviews before reading the book.
I started this book then set it down then picked it back up. I'm glad I did. I think it started a little slow for me and that's why I got bored with the first few chapters. But, once it starts going it's pretty much non stop. I felt so bad for Emily; it was just one thing after another with barely any time to breathe. I figured it out quite early, not the whole whole thing, but enough for it to still be a crazy ride.
Thanks for the ability to review this book.
This book was so good, a quick read for me as I just devoured it, there was twists at every turn and the story was gripping. I really recommend this book to all!
If Only You Knew was an absolutely captivating and thrilling read!
Emily is in the midst of a horrible divorce from an abusive husband, whose family name has everyone on his side. When things start to escalate in Emily’s life she really has to decide just who to trust.
I really enjoyed this story, parts of it made me feel so tense as if I was living through Emily’s experience with her. I kept wondering just exactly what was going on and could never quite pinpoint it! But I thoroughly enjoyed how everything wrapped up in the end.
Thanks to netgalley and Inkubator Books for the arc!
This was an enjoyable thriller to read. It kept me on my toes and holding my breath to see what's coming next. I recommend.
While i felt that the book started off very slow, it definitely picked up around chapter 14 and i felt connected to the characters and like i was experiencing the rollercoaster with them!
Overall a good read with a slow build up
It's a good thriller with a plot heavy storyline! I would recommend it to everyone who loves a good thriller but you should check the trigger warnings!
A fast-paced thriller that will have you hooked. I loved waiting to see what would happen next. I recommend this title.
If you only knew how amazing this book is! Holy cow I love a book with great twists and turns and this book delivered.
I throughly enjoyed this, the twists kept me on the edge of my seat and I needed to know more. The charecter development was amazing and just as I believed I had it all figured out the entire thing twisted on its head
If Only You Knew starts off a slow burn and focus on stalking situation that escalates terrific story of survival. I found the story line intriguing as the MC, Emily had me at the edge of my seat with the decisions that she kept doing. I found the author did well with developing the characters and appreciate the possible research that was made in order to make Emily's divorce very realistic. There are several triggers to be warn about such an abuse and violent/emotional scenarios.
I read this book in one day. This book was a great, action packed whodunit that kept me guessing until the end,
This is my second Theo Baxter book, and I truly love his books. It will not be my last.
Thanks Netgalley for my copy.
I wasn't impressed with this book. 2 star rating for me
i really wanted to love this book but sadly i didn’t enjoy it at all. it started so well and i was excited to continue the “shocking thriller” but there was nothing shocking
I was expecting a sinister thriller, but this was simply an account of Emily and Teddy’s nasty divorce.
It started good but then was a bit slow the ending was ok
If only you knew by Theo Baxter.
I do love this author. This is book 8 I've read. I loved the cover. Wow. I did enjoy this book. I liked Emily. I really didn't like Teddy. I did like how William was trying to help Emily in the end. This was unputdownable. I liked Laura and their Father. That did surprise me. 4*.
This was a very entertaining and thrilling read for me! As someone who loves psychological thrillers (movies and books), I can honestly say this was very captivating.
It’s really hard to find a good thriller, but this one was enjoyable!
I will say though, it doesn’t really keep you guessing, unfortunately, but it’s still very much worth the read. A fun and riveting adventure!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the copy!

it started really well and i was getting ready to continue the thrilling effect but there was nothing shocking or thrilling about it. I ended up not enjoying it so well
Overall very good book! Kept me reading the whole time and interested in what would be happening next. Original plot line!
