Ok, so here's a confession: I'm a TOTAL sucker for a political romance. They always have a certain air for the forbidden. The expectations, the decorum...I have yet to meet one I haven't salivated over and Off the Record was no different.

“I'm giving you what I can give you, and I'm telling you in advance that you might get hurt. But it's worth it to take the risk. I can damn well promise you that it's worth it.”

Our heroine Liz is a reporter for her college paper. Brady is the prodigal son, running for congress. Even though Brady is obviously taken with Liz from the start, his unending dedication is to his career... at first.

"The man has a plan, and he won't stop for anyone to get there."

I loved reading the political aspects of the story and felt like the author nailed this part of the story. That combined with the many deliciously forbidden encounters made the story all the more fun and addicting to read!

All in all, Off The Record is a fast paced page-turner. I needed to keep reading to know what would happen next with their seemingly VERY impossible situation. It does end with a bit of a cliffy, so I am looking forward to diving into book 2, On The Record for the continuation of their story.
