I thoroughly enjoyed the novel the Yellowstone campaign. I had not read part one of the series, but now I will go back and read it. The character of Jubilee Walker was very compelling and real. It was interesting to think about how the first non-indigenous people felt when they encountered the wonders of Yellowstone, I have visited Yellowstone National Park and enjoyed being at many of the vistas that were described in this novel. The details of the campaign for designation of this area as a national park were very interesting. I thought this novel was a wonderful blend of interesting characters and events woven around historical fact.
