I liked this memoir. The memoir isn't just about building a tiny home. It is more about a young woman who found a way to downsize into a tiny home to save on expenditures and create something uniquely hers.

I'm very impressed with a woman who learns to build and creates her own home. I know there are some who think this book didn't have enough information on the actual building methods she used on the home, but that wasn't what I expected. I wanted to know about Dee's emotions and mentality that convinced her she could do it. And that's what I got.

Now, those things I didn't like... well, Dee doesn't seem to have much of a filter. She says/writes things I really wouldn't. There was a tiny bit of bad language toward the end of the book. Nothing major, and most people wouldn't find it objectionable.

The memoir is more about Dee's life than about the tiny house, but the tiny house is part of Dee's life, and I'm glad she chose to write about it. I wish I could give this book 4.5 stars, but Goodreads won't allow it.

One more thing. I absolutely LOVE the cover!
