Loved this story,. While it is a quick read, it was packed with love, forgiveness, action, and an adorable toddler. What more could you asks for?
I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
We are back in Springfield and this time the story belongs to single mom Carolyn Evert and former Navy SEAL Zach Vale.
Two years ago Carolyn broke their engagement. She couldn’t handle the idea of being married to a man that walked towards danger and would be unreachable for months at a time.
The break up hurt them both a great deal.
When Carolyn’s jewelry store is being robbed and Zach is sent to assist the police as the sniper, he is shocked to see Carolyn and discover he had a son.
As they navigate his relationship with the little boy and old feelings that had been dormant resurface, danger is around Carolyn.
Can Zach keep her safe? Will Carolyn give Zach a chance? Will the danger win in the end?
This was a touching story about forgiveness, family or lack thereof, new beginnings and second chances in life and love.
A wonderful addition to the series. One that can be read as a stand alone.
I was entrusted a copy of this book by Netgalley. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
I'm not sure if I've read this book before or if I was having a series of Deja Vu. If so I didn't mind it was great to reread it. Next up is Zach's brothers.
Rescuing Carolyn is book 4 in the Springwell Series by Leslie North.
This is an amazing story that will captivate you from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.
The plot was great and very well written and the characters were so well developed that as I turned each page the chemistry between the characters kept me totally hooked until the very last page!
A great second-chance navy seal romance!
