This is a promising teaser- I like the characters we've seen so far, and I'm interested in the dynamics at play with the families, the love interest and the duke. I would need to read more to get a sense of what the conflicts will be, though obviously there is survivor's guilt at play, as well as the duke's feelings about being thrown away by his parents. I will definitely be requesting the full ARC!
