I was a little disappointed with this book because several of the recipes call for zero-proof alcohol. There is nothing wrong with that, I just wasn't expecting it.

The recipes in this book are pretty basic! I would have liked to see some more interesting and unique recipes but this is great for beginners or those who like the classics and are looking for ways to make them alcohol free. Overall a nice book!

This book is FULL of great recipes to make so many yummy mocktails. The format was a little weird on my Kindle.

As I enter my late 20s, I'm less and less interested in drinking alcohol, especially on weeknights. But I still love a fun little drink while I hang out with my husband in the evenings! In my experience, mocktails tend to remove the alcoholic ingredients without substituting anything in their place. I like that this book incorporates zero-proof versions of popular liquors so that the drinks aren't missing all of those complex flavors! This would be great for a pregnant person or anyone looking to decrease their alcohol consumption while still feeling like part of the party. Plus the photos in this book are gorgeous!

P.S. I did not know that zero-proof gin existed and am so excited about this development!

A mocktail for every week of the year - how fun! I love making new drinks, and sometimes a good drink doesn't call for alcohol! There is a great variety of drinks, and one can easily add alcohol if they choose. The photos are great, and the instructions are easy to read and understand.

I appreciate the publisher and NetGalley for allowing me to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

I recently just moved back in with my parents (boo) after graduating college and it is monday. My mom is home, so I thought, why not try one of these with her. This book's design is so cute, I love the different color checkers. The "Sansgria" is the one that sounded best to us and what a cute photo + recipe. I love the tips within the book as well. I also think it is super easy to put alcohol in it if maybe you are having a drink with your friends and want an alcoholic + nonalocholic version of a drink (I think that could be an addition to this book possibly). I think this book is a fun idea and could be a great gift to your friends who don't drink but want some fun options to have at home or at social gatherings!

Thank you Jennifer Newens, NetGalley, and The Collective Book Studio for the early copy of this cute recipe book! All opinions are my own.

This book has a ton of fun ideas of different mocktails to make throughout the year. They sound super refreshing and would add variety to your options.

If you’re someone who wants to experiment with many of the zero-proof alcohol alternatives, this book is perfect as most recipes use one. I’m not one of those people, so I gave it 4 stars.

It includes alternatives for classic cocktails and new recipes, along with tips on glassware, mixing methods, and garnishes. Perfect for anyone sober or sober-curious, this book is packed with creative mocktail ideas and even includes mini-recipes for ingredients like flavored syrups.

I appreciate the opportunity to read this book. I've been sober for 2 1/2 years and I love experimenting with fun drinks. I do have an issue with some of the recipes. They mention na vodka. However, na vodka is very hard to find if brands make it. It's hard to recreate the taste of vodka. I do like the ideas of making my own syrups for drinks. I haven't done that yet.

This is a great resource for non-alcoholic drinks. I don't drink alcohol, but sometimes enjoy a fancy drink and this is the perfect recipe book. The care and detail that went into this is outstanding. The author really did their research on putting these drinks together. If you are unsure of where to start, there are also tips in the book. I can't wait to try all the recipes!

Thanks to NetGalley and The Collective Book Studio for a digital ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This book contains 52 recipes for non-alcoholic drinks to try every week of the year. It is filled with eye-catching and colorful photos of each drink. The author creates alternatives for classics like the margarita and a "new fashioned" and some new recipes. Each recipe includes guidance like recommended glass type, mixing methods, and garnishes. My favorite part was the mini-recipes for necessary ingredients like flavored syrups and shrubs.

Some of the recipes feature familiar ingredients like sparkling water, kombucha, or juices. However, many of the recipes call for special non-alcoholic spirits or other uncommon ingredients like hop water. These ingredients may be more readily available in certain areas, it's important to note that they may require special ordering.

I could see this as a good book for those who are sober or sober-curious and hobby mixologists.

A book of cocktails that goes through different seasons! I thought this was really well done and had easy to follow directions. I do wish Newens had provided recommendations of brands that she likes. She does give recommendations of where to get zero-proof spirits, but I have found that not all brands are equally delicious. Despite that, still a good cookbook!

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Jennifer Newens for providing me with a complimentary digital ARC for Monday Night Mocktails coming out October 15, 2024. The honest opinions expressed in this review are my own.

I love a good mocktail, so I was excited to check out this book. I didn’t realize there was nonalcoholic bourbon, tequila, gin, etc. I thought there was just nonalcoholic beer. So that changes things. I love that there was a variety of different fruity drinks. It was also nice the book was broken up into different seasons for drinks. There were a lot of drinks to choose from. I love the mango and cherry drinks. I’m definitely excited to try some of these!

I would recommend this book to anyone wants to try new nonalcoholic drinks!

As I’m getting older, I drink less and less. I’m always on the hunt for mocktail recipes that make me feel like I’m celebrating something. I absolutely love that this book is separated by season and I can’t wait to try some of the recipes! So far I only have Almave non-alcoholic tequila (shout out to Lewis Hamilton) so I’m going to start with those recipes first!
