it's a charming book, but I didn't love the illustrations.
I love the premise of the importance of taking care of our planet, its a very important topic to expose our kiddos to.

I very rarely rate kids picture book so low, especially since the idea of this book is not bad but... the execution was not good. Firstly, the inside is not that original either or something new, and secondly (but the main thing I pay attention to when it comes to picture books for kids) the illustrations were really bad. Sorry.

I read this to my three year old. It’s definitely written to a baby. It’s definitely wanting to help kids learn how to keep the earth clean and be kind to our plant. It’s not a space book about planets. It ends abruptly and even my kid thought it was weird.

This book is.so.good and so true. Great learning book for homeschooling. Great moral for kids to do their part and the illustrations are great. Loved the book and a.great read for children.

At the beginning of the year, while browsing the Piccadilly Waterstones bookstore, several children's books caught my eye. One in particular, with a beautiful illustration of our solar system on the cover, stood out. Although I didn't get a chance to read it then, a different book with a similar cover design later piqued my interest, and I decided to give it a read.

This book is a wonderfully environmentally and nature-friendly children's book that aims to instill good habits in young readers early on. It teaches valuable lessons such as not wasting water by turning off the tap and conserving electricity by turning off lights when leaving a room. For adults, these may seem like basic activities, but for children, they are essential lessons that need to be learned.

The book features vibrant illustrations that are quite appealing. However, I found these colorful images to be somewhat mature, especially considering the intended age range of the audience based on the book's text. Of course, this is just my personal preference, and other readers may feel differently. Regardless, for those who want to teach their children about environmentally friendly habits, this book serves as an excellent learning companion.

Our Earth is a guiding light to those who still think that everything that we got from God is granted for nothing. This Nature has given us all that we need to survive with whole happiness but we as a careless and irresponsible child put it side without any remorse. This picture book tells us about the importance of our earth without any fake expression from more fake activists.

Content was good and so does the message. With a rhyming pattern author chose to guide young readers to understand the importance of earth, that we live in. We must reduce carbon footprints and try to use as less energy as we can which is non-renewable.

In Hindu culture, mainly in India, Earth is considered as a Mother because whatever ever got to survive is given by our mother earth and we believe that everything thing, that we took from her, must be given back to her. Reason why Hindus' ancestors consider earth as mother and connected it with culture and religion, is that, people who even are not educated are wise enough to follow the traits with utmost sense of devotion and care for what gives them their life.

Here in this picture book also the importance that has been given to our earth and the way it was explained is very simple to grasp and follow. Switching-off lights when not in use or using bicycles more than fossil fuel based automobiles is something which we can do without any materialistic or financial approach.
We can save us from winter by wearing more woolen clothes rather than using thermostats to warm the whole room. Use quilts than heaters. And, as I said earlier, Walk and use bicycles than using automobiles that need fossil fuels to run and spread poisonous gases in air further increasing global warming.
We do not need environment or climate activists but to self-realisation on by how we can help this nature by not exploiting it by any means. This is, I say, is not just for children but for adults too, to realise their mistake, learn and correct it as soon as possible. There are many such wrongdoing that we knew but all in vain because we do not take proper actions to curb our comfort demands.

Children will surely learn from this and it will help them understand from their early young age on what can be done to save our home, Our Earth.

I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. A book for kids explaining about how there is just one earth and how kids can help keep it going for future generations.

This is a nice little book to teach the importance of keeping our earth clean and safe. It's more important than ever before to teach our children ways to take care of the environment so that generations to come have a better life. The book shares easy ways we can be eco friendly on a daily basis and talks about why these things are important.

This eco-lesson welcomes the young reader to the world, and then lumbers them with knowledge of what they have to do to look after it – turning off lights and taps, growing the right seeds for the right foodstuffs and the right pollinators, etc etc. It's OK, but the way this is put into verse isn't that brilliant from the start and ends up being really sketchy at the end, the artwork could be a lot more engaging, and the response from the child reading this is obviously going to be "why me?! China first, India first, etc etc". Yes, we all have a small part to play, and so on and so on, and tiny changes can mean a lot, and so on and so on, but some have bigger parts and bigger changes to make.

Part of me liked this book, part of me is confused by the book's infant start but older kid concepts (don't waste water, turn off lights when you leave a room). It felt like a book version of when someone speaks to the baby but is actually pointedly talking to it's adult. It's rhymey, cute, illustrations are amazing, but the audience for whom it's being written is unclear..

A spectacular book with splendid illustrations for young readers about how to care for the earth and protect our most valuable resource. Highly recommended!

This one is okay. It's goal is to teach kids to be environmentally conscious. I thought it was fairly typical - there isn't anything in this book for me to rec it over any other environmental book out there.

Such a wonderful read for my daughter! I love the tips for helping our planet and self care! The illustrations were beautiful and kept my daughter engaged!

This was a lovely read. I really enjoyed reading this to my two boys. This book had lovely pictures that kept my kids interested especially my youngest. The message behind the book was really great.

I really liked this book. I love the easy reading rhyming text and tips on how to save the world by turning off the tap, recycling, putting on a jumper instead of putting the heating higher etc... I think children will enjoy this book and it has lots of conversation starters. Thank you for the opportunity to read and review this book.

Short book for littles. The rhyming made reading easy and it is a fun way to connect the information together. I would have liked to see a focus on what children can do to help specifically and less generalized ideas on how to be sustainable. I was dissapointed as the cover made me think it was going to be about space and I was slightly terrified of the baby/umbilicle cord illustration. I completely understand the connection of "welcome to the world" and "you are here" but I feel like there are better ways to relate this than a giant, world size floating baby.

This rhyming picture book teaches young listeners ways in which they can conserve natural resources, such as turning off lights when they are not in the room. I think that the book could have been strengthened by showing children how these actions help protect the planet.
